Spice Bazaar

We recently dined at Spice Bazaar in Engelberg and had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great depending on the weather and your preference. The atmosphere was welcoming and well-suited for a relaxed meal. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, and it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious—exactly what you’d hope for from a good Indian restaurant. The spices were well-balanced, and the portion size was satisfying. However, the only downside was the price. While the quality of the food was undeniable, we found it to be quite expensive for what we got. That said, if you’re willing to splurge a bit for authentic Indian flavors in the heart of Engelberg, this spot is worth considering.

Excellent quantity and quality… perfect for Indian appetite; very good and quick chef. Shekhar served us and our experience was very good, timely service (if you pick the right time to eat!)

The food great but, to top it all, the service by Mr Shekar was amazing. I just loved him and his hospitality. I will always remember him. Thanks for making this trip memorable Shekar. You are the face of Spice Bazaar 👍

Was really very excellent experience with Indian food and professional service especially from Mr.Shekhar The outside setting was wonderful especially at late afternoon Highly recommended to keep it on your schedule while visiting Englberg .

Good India restaurant in Switzerland. Average taste of food with good ambience. We had our buffet lunch and dinner here.

The restaurant has a very serene atmosphere. The decor is very beautiful. Service was amazing especially the manager Shekhar was very polite and dealing with him was a pleasure. The food was really tasty…..not spicy or oily but just right to the Indian taste. Highly recommend this place.
