Hey there. Ever find yourself near Seoul Station, hungry and not in the mood for the usual?
There is a Thai place quietly tucked into the basement level of Seoul Square, the old Daewoo building right across from the station. Yes, that one.
I stopped by on a Wednesday evening in April 2025 around 7:30 p.m. It was dinner time, and I was just looking for something decent. Nothing fancy.
Then the food arrived. I ordered morning glory, simple stir fried greens, but done right.
The heat was there, but not overwhelming. It had a gentle kick that built up as you kept eating, likely from red chili blended into the dish rather than sitting on top of it. Salty, savory, and balanced. It did not try too hard, and that is what made it work.
The space itself is modern, clean, and easy to settle into. There are plenty of tables, mostly for four, with a few for two. You walk in, use the kiosk to order, and that is it. Simple and efficient.
The food came out quickly, and the staff kept everything moving smoothly without getting in the way.
So if you are nearby, maybe skip the obvious options for once. Head downstairs, order the morning glory, and see how it goes. Enjoy.
