Spicers Peak Lodge

We stopped here for lunch as part of our helicopter tour while on vacation in Australia and what an amazing experience! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the food is fantastic. The ultimate in luxury and we felt like royalty landing and departing from the lawn. We had an 8 course pre-fixe menu and each course was tasty and beautiful to look at . . . a true work of art and we were able to try different foods we would have never ordered. Our server, Brian, explained each course to us in detail and made this a very special event for me and my family. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, Adrian the Manager was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable beyond belief. The entire Spicers Peak Lodge team went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the only guests there. The food was phenomenal — picture-perfect dishes that tasted even better than they looked. Truly the kind of meals you’d write home about. The venue itself is stunning, with so much to do — from mountain biking, tennis, and bush walks, to cocktail masterclasses and the unforgettable sunset soiree. We did it all, and each experience made our stay even more memorable. We honestly can’t wait to come back. A gorgeous lodge with a stupendous view over the misty mountain range. Our room was not large but very comfortable with an open fire, jacuzzi bath and a little terrace. Delicious food at all meals - dinner one night was a tasting menu and the other 2 a la carte. The tasting menu had a wine pairing and we tried wines we haven’t come across before. Good walks straight from the lodge.

We stayed here for two nights on our 10th anniversary and have to say it was the best weekend away ever. Adrian and his team are phenomenal. Nothing we asked for was too hard. Service was sensational room beautiful and clean. The farm itself is stunning and the views sensational thanks for a great weekend Guys. We will be back.

Our stay from start to finish was amazing. The staff where all friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the infinity spa was the perfect temp with spectacular views. Food was Lovley. We chose peak lodge for our 10 year wedding anniversary as we wanted to spoil ourselves and it did not disappoint.

Our babymoon weekend was amazing. Adrian and team were very thoughtful during our stay to ensure my wife was comfortable. From arrival greetings to food and drinks, everything was perfect. We thank the team who made our stay and the babymoon so memorable. We will be back with our baby soon.

We were staying in the area and thought we'd go up for a bottle of wine in a cheese platter. No go. From the moment we walked in we felt like we were trespassing. We were greeted with "Do you need something" very uncomfortable feeling. Hardly anyone around and were told we must make a booking. Couldn't cater for a cheese platter or even a bottle of wine. Were told bookings were essential. Yeah i'm pretty sure because they thought we weren't rich we couldn't be served. Manager wasn't directly rude but his body language and the way he spoke down to us suggested otherwise. (perhaps put on the sign at the bottom of the hill, do not accept walk ins). Were told many choppers coming in and just can't cater for us. Surely anyone can cater for a bottle of wine at least! walked out feeling like the place was stuck up and rude! Clearly only for the Rich. Road in was rough and corrugated and not maintained at all.

We had an amazing family weekend at Spicers Peak Lodge staying in the two bedroom cabin, and we cannot speak highly enough of the whole place. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the lodge is beautiful, the food incredible, the grounds are exactly what you'd hope for in a private mountain lodge with walks and lookouts and wildlife, the accommodation is incredible and it's all just so beautiful. I hope we can make it back there and stay even longer because we just didn't want to leave this morning. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so special, we really appreciate the service we were provided with, it made our visit truly memorable.

Worth every penny. Food, service, accommodation, all exceeded our expectations. Don't think about it, just book it.
