Spices Restaurant

Spices Restaurant is located in a Lovely French inspired hotel situated on the Mekong delta waterway just step away from the downtown area. The restaurant is thoughtful and hospitable to observe dietary restrictions. The location offers an Excellent walking experience or take a water taxi or tour to the floating market to observe the local lifestyle. The hotel has Spices Restaurant, a spa and 2 courtyard pool. The rooms are air conditioned and spacious.

Very nice meal, very nice staff, specifically Kim-anh, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable 🫰🏻

If you want a real opinion on this restaurant, I would say that the decor is superb. The service is also very good and the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and professional. The problem is Western food. I had a hamburger and a cheese plate. The cheese plate is generous, but the hamburger and fries are not very good. Considering the price (I paid the equivalent of 44 USD in total), you expect the meat to be good, like in the West. But in fact, no This is the problem in Vietnam, when they cook western food, the taste is never close to the taste in Europe or the USA and especially in France. Why? Because the foods are not the same, so the taste will be different. I suggest the owner of the establishment (very nice hotel with swimming pool) to hire a Westerner to prepare, taste, and test all the dishes. This will be beneficial for the managers andfor customers who will be happy with their meal. In short, it's expensive for what you get on your plate. You're paying for the decor (garden, pool, etc.).

My family often go to your spices restaurant to get coffee and breakfast on every Sunday. All of my family member always like services here. My mother likes Pho, my father likes the staste of coffee without sugar. My grandparents like the atmosphere and beautiful landscape here. My bro likes growing up a bonsai with the gardener uncle. I like uncle Tha. He is very humorous and remembers always my name. Moreover, he taught me the English and helped me to speak the English with foreigners.

The appetizers, stir fried noodles, pho, and desserts were good. Service was a bit slow and we were the only ones at the restaurant, but had a group of 14. Staff was able to accommodate an extra fan for cooling, provided bread and butter and salt on request. Burgers come out well done and were not to our liking.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food was amazing, and the steak was the best I've had in Asia. Wasn't staying at hotel - just went for lunch, and I'll definitely go again.

The lawn in front of the restaurant and various flowers and trees create a fantastic natural atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. I stopped by after a walk along the river and had a delicious lunch and coffee.

The service is fantastic here. The presentation of the food is really beautiful but I expected a bit better. The desserts were mediocre. The meal could've been more flavourful. Overall it was a pretty decent experience.
