Dining at Spice Fish was easily the highlight of my trip to Budapest. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance felt cozy yet vibrant but what truly made the experience memorable was the service and the food. I have to give a special mention to Chubby, who was not only incredibly friendly and attentive but brought a sense of warmth and charm that instantly made us feel at home. He guided us through the menu with enthusiasm and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. His energy really elevated the entire evening. The food? Absolutely delicious. Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and tasted incredibly fresh. I’ve eaten a lot of Asian cuisine around the world, and this reminded me of dining at one of my favorite Chinese restaurants back in Manhattan. Bold flavors, comforting textures, and that perfect balance of spices. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the experience, but Spice Fish does it effortlessly. I left with a full heart and an even fuller stomach. If you’re in Budapest and craving something truly satisfying, don’t miss this gem.

Fantastic experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. A big thanks to Csaba for helping us choose the perfect dishes — your recommendations were spot on! The service was absolutely excellent. We’ll definitely come back! ✨

If you’re looking for a quiet evening with family and friends enjoying authentic Chinese cuisine, then this place is recommended. We tried their chicken, beef and pork (different menu items) and they were are decent! Great service from our server and our food was prepared and served super fast! Definitely recommend if you want a good Chinese spot!

Due to my allergies ( and picky eating habits) I have only tried some safer dishes, but all the others at my table were absolutely satisfied with the various dishes they had. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

What an intense experience the spicy fish was! The szechuan peppers were numbing. We asked for less spice but we still couldn't take it. It's not for the weak. Really great flavor! The pig intestines were also great. The sticky rice with the floss was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was spectacular. The bad experience comes after payment. I don’t speak Chinese, and looking at the bill, asked the waiter, if service fee is included. He said no, so I gave 5% on the terminal, he even guided me. Then I checked the bill due to healthy curiosity with a translation tool, and 10% service fee was already included.

We came here late at night after a long travel day. We were pleased with the quality of food generally. We had the roast Duck, bak choi and rice noodles which were all full of flavour. We also ordered the shredded chicken which was sickly sweet and sour - shame as the rest was nice! Service was fine but nothing exceptional

Walked all the way from Budapest Center to this restaurant 😂 Food was great. We ordered the Peking Duck, fried noodles, cucumber salad, spicy fried beans, orange shrimps and beef short ribs. Can recommend everything on the menu - food was excellent! Powerful flavors, not too salty or flooded with soy sauce. Service was excellent as well - food came quickly but fresh and servers were super attentive. Totally recommend going here when coming to Budapest!
