"Jul i Vinterland at Spikersuppa mixes classic market elements—decorated stalls and a tree-lined ice rink—with standout food offerings: I tried coconut cupcakes, caramel apples, gløgg, warm porridge, currywurst, and smoked salmon from the Lofoten Islands, spun the chocolate wheel for fun, and enjoyed carnival rides including a ferris wheel." - Caitlin Morton
Big enough. Lovely surroundings. Free, only pay for skate hire. Visited in the evenings, ice very cut up. Lots of people walking on the ice. Prob would be better to charge and maintain the ice a bit more.

The Christmas market is worth a visit. The atmosphere is good. There is something to do for all ages. There are several places where you can sit around a hard fire. Highly recommended if you want to visit Oslo in December.
