Amazing food and an amazing location! Advisable to book ahead as they are very busy. Brandon Bay Sauna and Plunge Pool located beside the beach in the car park and a food truck for coffee afterwards! Very welcoming staff and locals. Highly recommended

Each time we are in the area, we visit Spillane’s with pleasure. We always had a warm and friendly welcome. Proposed dishes are simple but well executed, tasty and using very fresh ingredients. And in quantity that is appreciated after long bike rides. Ambiance during weekend is really enjoyable. Best place in the area to have a good time. Even beats Dingle.

This place is a local gem 💎! I've been a few times and I loved the veggie burger, the butter chicken and the chocolate cake. Their softserve ice cream is perfect too!

Went here with my family who were over from America after a surf lesson. We were blessed with the weather and the food definitely topped off the day! I had the beetroot carpaccio (we paired it with the goats cheese with walnuts- highly recommend) and then as a main I had the mussels which were delicious. Creamy pints of Guinness to wash down and a cookie sundae to finish! There was 8 of us and the price wasn't too bad, got to soak up the sun and natural beauty after It was difficult to get the staffs attention at times, but they were hopping so that is to be considered.

Excellent place. Great service, fantastic pint of Guinness, the fish dinners we got were best in class. Just don't order tea for the group, paid through the nose for it!!! Am sure it was just a mistake at the till, just didn't notice it on the receipt until we were halfway home.

Lovely views all around this area. Definitely worth the road trip. Jamie Knox Watersports is a firm family favourite. Spillanes does great food too and well with a visit.

Fabulous food with friendly staff. Good for pescatarians although vegetarian options offered. I didn't book on the Saturday night I went but it was in March and not peak season. Mainly locals there when I visited. I was too tired to hang around for the live Irish music commencing at 10pm. Would go again as food is superb.

Fantastic spot to eat. Very nice atmosphere, kind service, and amazing food. For those who are not big fans of seafood there are still fantastic options. The Spillane wings and beef burger were both phenomenal. My wife really enjoyed the crab claws and the fish and chips. Lots of fantastic food for a very friendly price. I also recommend driving up to the harbor and walking up the little stairs. Fantastic panoramic view from up there. Also look for 2 benches, one down in the harbor and one up the hill, and consider the people they are dedicated to.

This is a MUST when visiting the Castle Gregory area. Thw views driving out to the Maharees are spectacular. All the food is yummy, especially the seafood. We;ve been coming here for decades and dine here several times each visit.

We first experienced this wonderful restaurant almost 30 years ago. The drive out to the Maharees is so beautiful.. Very cozy atmosphere and the freshest seafood. The Spillane family is very welcoming. A "must" when in the area. To be sure, we have been there only in "off" season, so it was never too crowded.

Wonderful place - great food and fabulous drinks. Staff are great!! Always a good place to gather with friends and meet new folks.

Looking for a local establishment serving proper pints, chips, and fresh seafood? Well, this should be your destination in Maharees. We had the Mussels as a starter with the white wine butter sauce as opposed to the other Thai sauce option. The portion is a massive bucket of amazing fresh mussels, sauce was delicious. For entrees we had the rack of lamb, spicy chicken, and vegetable stirfry. All items were prepared well and tasted great. Just an FYI, protein temps in Ireland tend to be one past the regular temps you request. So rare would be prepared to medium rare and so forth. Prices are a bit above average but the service is wonderful and the scenery being right be the beach is unmatched. Highly suggest reservations as they do fill up quickly.

I grew up here as a child and young adult. This is a fantastic family-owned pub. It is located in the most beautiful place on earth, right near a gorgeous beach. It is great for both lunch and dinner. When I visit home on holiday, I always share a meal at Spillane's. They have lovely staff, a varied menu, and the freshest of food. We love the seafood platter. You can't beat it for the price. There are still a few unspoiled places in this world. You can enjoy such a place with the friendly people of Fahamore.

Stayed at a place down the road and saw that this was the only place in town for a drink and food, so we went! We had to sit at the bar because it was fully booked but didn't mind at all as the atmosphere was buzzing. We both had 3 course meals and loved it all. The staff and bar tenders were friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Good food, good people, good time!

Good atmosphere and a nice play to go for post surf/sail pint. Food is ok, if expensive. But the bizarre seating system puts us off. Usual mental around 6pm on a bank holiday.

Great bar and restaurant which is located across the road from the most stunning view I've ever seen. Imagine having a pint watching the sunset over the sea! The atmosphere here makes the place it is bustling all summer long and a great place for kids. Food is good especially the BBQ chicken pizza! All the fish is sourced locally which is a plus as the sea is literally across the road! The mussels are delicious and the crab claws are fresh and tasty! The ice cream is gorgeous and I come here most days for a pint and a 99'- happy days!
