I was excited to try and support a local business. Definitely good quality, and great flavours. I ordered takeout and arrived 10 minutes before I had requested it to be ready. Lucky I did this as it was already sitting waiting for me. I was only a few minutes drive away, but things weren’t hot, and the onion bhaji were soggy. I had requested on the order that each individual dish be as mild as possible. I also requested on the overall order that things please be as mild as possible. This didn’t happen. The butter chicken was the spiciest butter chicken I’ve had. The kids also struggled. I wish I’d dined in. I think I would have had more luck with temperature, maybe I would have been able to explain better in person how I’d needed things to be. If ever I was to go back, I’d want to try and order in person and to try and take things when they were fresh and hot.

My experience for this restaurant was wonderful. The very first attracting thing was the ambience and the very first entrance where they have decorated a really good sculptures and the decor is awesome. Their food is extremely delicious. We had a really good family dinner there. One of the best Indian restaurants in Halls gap. The Staff is really good. The service was really quick. We had a good experience and the backside of the restaurant is also really nice. The sitting area is vast large and huge. I just love everything about this place.

I had a delightful experience at Spirit of Punjab! The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly. Food came out quickly and there were a lot of vegan options! The onion bhaji and tofu dahl were delicious! The mild level of spice was suitably mild. Unfortunately there were no vegan desserts but the field of bounding kangaroos was an amazing addition to the experience. I look forward to coming back in the future!

My Husband and I went to this restaurant last week and discovered the best Indian food we’d ever had! Everything was delicious. The service was wonderful and friendly and enjoyed watching the little robot server 😂 Highly recommend 🤗

We sat out the back, view was incredible, meal was amazing .. however, if like me, you are into your craft beers, beware .. these supposed 4 beer styles from local breweries all tasted the same , & were not pilseners, Belgian triple, & XPAs. So even though (as per pic provided) they are badged like they are craft beers, they are not .. Was very disappointed.. But again, the meals were amazing .. the Pina colada cocktail was nice. Just be aware that If you sit outside & get harassed by local kookaburras, the staff will hit them across the head & beaks with sticks. Not a good look.

Was excited to try Spirit of Punjab! I have to say it was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. Garlic Naan : 3⭐️ Mango Lassi : 4⭐️ Saffron Rice : 3.5⭐️ Lamb Rogan Josh : 4.5⭐️ Butter Chicken : 4⭐️ Cauliflower Padoka : 3.5⭐️ Mango Lassi, think mango flavoured yoghurt drink. Cauliflower was like a thick battered chicken nugget, but it’s cauliflower Lamb Rogan Josh, perfect with rice Butter Chicken, creamy, sweet, chicken thigh Saffron Rice, just rice. Couldn’t taste the saffron

The shit Indian food we’ve ever had in Melbourne or we’ve had in Victoria. The food we’ve ordered was at around 8:30. The food was old. Try to call them 10 times didn’t wanted to except the food is not good. Dint picked up the call after

Yelp
Very nice food with an unusual way of delivering the food to your table (a robot!). The somas were unbeatable.

Yelp
We turned up to this place without knowing that a reservation is required and they were nice enough to give us a spot but with one hour limit. We ordered biryani, kebabs, curries and a lot more than two person could eat. Everything was extremely fresh especially the tandoori naans which is made inside a tandoor at the premise. The restaurant itself is very large and there are a lot of seats outdoor for anyone weather permitting, though at the day there was no one dining outside.

Yelp
They dont serve after 9, only take outs. I dont know if the staff is lazy or they have this weird system of service. Just wanted to let others know since they dont have their weird service timing listed in Yelp. I hope they do better with customer service and their timing and hire some better staff who are more welcoming.

Yelp
This was the second time coming here for dinner. While last time we enjoyed it, this time wasn't as nice. We had the lamb Korma and Vindaloo with a side of jasmine rice and cheese naan bread. I will say the Vindaloo and Korma were good but the rice and bread were poor. The rice had no flavour and the naan bread was dry and only had a couple specks of cheese. If we hadn't grabbed this for take away then we would have brought it up with them as this was a bit pricey for the quality we got.

Yelp
Best Indian restaurant in Victoria... And I have tried many! Generous serves with quality ingredients, well spiced (but accommodates also moderate tastes) Stunning location at the bottom of the National Park Friendly and helpful staff

Yelp
By far the best Indian restaurant outside Melbourne! I've eaten here multiple times over the past few years and the food is consistently excellent. They can prepare the curries as mild or as hot as you like (there is a scale in the menu). The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great

Yelp
Stopped overnight to explore the Grampians and decided that Indian food sounded good. We were throughly pleased. Service was great as was the food. Would highly recommend it.

Yelp
The service was very pleasant. The food was very flavorful and tasty. They adjust the spice level. It was a nice option to have during our stay in Halls Gap. We ate in a few nights and got delicious take-out another time. The ambiance was very nice as well.
