Great little place that holds a lot of history. There's two well-filled rooms large enough to house a Spitfire in one and a Hurricane in the other. Loads of extra militaria and information dotted around as well and lots of model aircraft and pictures & images to help show moments of the war. Would highly recommend - it's free to get in, but a donation always helps.

A RAF Fan's brilliant place to visit, great history about the second world war and battle of Britain, also regarding the important role Manston airport played in saving England in the war effort. Great place also with a fabulous restaurant/cafe.

We didn't stop here long, a mere 20mins in the way back home from a long weekend stay nearby. However this free museum was loaded with knowledge and the planes were clearly very cared for and looked great.

Great museum free to enter and run by volunteers, so donations are much appreciated.
Museum is small in size but big on interest. Lots of exhibits to see and 2 pre bookable simulators to test your flight skills.
Great little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Make sure you visit the memorial garden for a quiet, reflective moment very poignant.
A nice visit and worth seeing 👍

2 Second World War aircraft are maintained here - the Spitfire TB752 & the Hurricane LF751.
Along with other memorabilia from the history of the Second World War it makes an interesting visit for the family.
There is also a gift shop and cafe with indoor and outdoor seating areas.
This museum is free admission but as it is a registered charity, donations are always welcome.
Please contact the museum direct for coach and school parties.
