Spitfire Tacos + Tequila

Food was very good, Big portions, Even on the kids menu! Very beautiful dining area. Notice they had an igloo out on the patio so you could dine in there, that was very cute. Definitely would return and recommend this place!!

Awesome craft tacos—every bite was packed with flavor. Be sure to ask for the different salsas—they’re all super tasty. The customer service was great—friendly and helpful from start to finish. We didn’t try the cocktails, but they looked amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Where to begin...this place is a real winner. Decided to get a quick drink and that turned into food and I couldn't be happier it did. Cocktails are excellent (tequila focused but not exclusively), and presented well. I had their seasonal taco which was a Cubano taco, RUN don't walk to get this amazing dish. I am serious, don't sleep on this one, it is all the best elements of a Cuban sandwich turned into a taco. The flavors are very authentic, I could have mistaken it for the inside of a Cuban in Miami (ohlf which i have had many) inside a fresh tortilla. Anyway, the guacamole and salsa were excellent as was my friends burrito. I would add that the prices are very fair and I felt was a value for the quality. I would be remiss to not mention the service, our server Seb was excellent, attentive, and very friendly. Finally, I rarely have a dessert but their churros...insane, that's the only word I can think of. Eagle is lucky to have such a great spot like this. I think their slogan kind of fits them well "authentically made inauthentic tacos" because the combos of flavors are quite unique so definitely give them a try.

We have been coming here often for the past year and it just keeps getting better. The staff run things smoothly, food is quick and consistently tasty, and the tequila and mezcal list never disappoints. The Tajín-dusted chips with queso are a must order every time. On warm days the outdoor seating is great, especially the new top deck with its bar and lounge vibe. And do not skip the smashburger taco. It might sound a little strange, but if you love burgers it is awesome. If you are craving tacos and a good drink, Spitfire is the spot.

Good vibes and great service! Kyle was the best and served our large group without any hiccup. The drinks are good, but the cocktails we tried were very sugary. I know some people like that, but not my preference. The food is heavily seasoned and salty, which was just a little too excessive for my taste. Definitely worth a try! I first saw this place on Instagram and was dying to try it. Prices are pretty high considering what you get. Tab for 4 (only 2 alcohol drinkers) was about $140.

Delicious! Highly recommend. The smashburger taco was great. If you dont like pink burger meat, though, make sure to ask for well done. The cerveche was perfect!!

Food is ok but they really do short you on the large queso to go. It’s about 1/4 full. Shrinkflation is real… went again and even less queso lol. Even asked to have it filled up.

So I rented the igloo on top of Spitfire yesterday at 2:30. I was there at 2 o'clock. One of my friends was six minutes late, so we ended up in the igloo 10 minutes late from our reservation at 2:40 is when we ended up in the igloo, which we walked ourselves up to. Nobody came up for 45 minutes. We sat there without drinks for 45 minutes, a server, nobody, until I went downstairs and had to get somebody, and all they told me was, sorry, we're busy. So then we finally got our drinks after an hour and decided to order our food because we had only seen our waitress one time, who was also the manager, and I will say she was very nice, but we just didn't really see her. It was supposed to be a coursed meal. Nobody explained it, anything to us until we asked. I don't think the igloo was even warmed. It was freezing cold. We were, we had one round of drinks. Our food was delivered all at the same time, and then we were never offered the third course that we paid for, which was dessert. Never came, but we paid for it. Service was absolutely horrendous. We saw our waitress three times in three hours for an hour and 45 minute reservation. So I'm just, I would not recommend this place to anybody because a hour and 45 minute reservation turned into three hours, one round of drinks, missing food, table full of food. It was a pretty terrible experience.

This was my second time going there and I am so obsessed with their tajin dusted chips, truly life changing!!!! I was happy I got to try their Korean BBQ Pork Belly Tacos, you have to get them! I rarely eat pork belly outside of Asian dishes and i'm so glad I did - the taco was incredible. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the cucumbers were so fresh and added a lightness to the taco where it didn't feel heavy at all. First time Asian - Mexican fusion has actually tasted like a good fusion and not a bunch of random spices. I went on a Saturday so the ambience was louder but to be expected, I prefer less loud music however as mentioned, I know that's a consideration to have when going out to eat on a football Saturday. The service was very friendly as well.

Tacos are on the menu tonight and the websites for Google and Yelp suggest Spitfire Tacos and Tequila have been recieving positive reviews. On a Saurday afternoon, the place was humming with people inside, outside and on the roof. A positive vibe was in the air. We got a seat at the bar and looked over a large menu. We started with the chips sprinkled with tajin seasoning and a delicious and savory salsa. The tacos looked intriguing, so we selected the alta California shrimp with tajin crema slaw, guacamole, cotija, pica da gallo and chipolte crema on a corn tortilla. I could not taste the shrimp as the slaw and all other ingredients overwhelmed the flavor. The smash burger taco contained ground beef, government cheese (does not sound appealing), dill pickles, lettuce and their special sauce. Again, you could only taste the cheese. I didn't love the tacos and found them both grossly over-powered by the condiments. Another bone to pick was the swarm of flies inside the restaurant. It was difficult in defending the food from the swarms of flies. Eating here again will not happen. Spitfire Tacos and Tequila has a good vibe, nice building, friendly staff but they first need to refine the taco profiles, so one can highlight the protein. Bug control is a close second!

Over a year later and it is time for an update. We have been here dozens of times and I am happy to say the early growing pains are long gone. The front of house runs smoothly, food comes out fast, and quality has been consistent. The tequila and mezcal selection is solid and something we look forward to every visit. The house chips dusted with Tajín and the trio of dips are always a must. Do not skip the queso. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating shines. The new top level deck with its bar and lounge-style seating has become our favorite spot to hang out. If you are hungry for tacos and maybe a little tequila, Spitfire Tacos is the place to go. Oh, and the smashburger taco, I know it sounds weird, but if you like burgers must try!

Fun atmosphere in downtown Eagle! Tacos for all kinds from vegetarian to classic carnitas to smashburgers in tortillas. We couldn't choose so we ordered the wheel (one of each) which comes with a goblet of margarita (which was fantastic). They fence in the patio so they have high capacity year round. Small parking lot and street parking. The rooftop patio would be fun in the summer!

Grabbed a quick dinner here on Monday night. It was quick seating while still being a little busy. There's a large selection of drinks and a great menu selection as well. Both of the tacos I got were delicious and had amazing flavor.

Best late night eats in Eagle- and their drinks are pretty good too. Honestly- the food is good even if it's not late at night. It's not "authentic" Mexican, but it doesn't try to be. It's just good food and a cool setting.

I unfortunately dont say this often, but if I could give this place a 6 star for their house margarita and flavor explosions in all their salsas I would!! Wow, blown away. Margarita is made from Scratch every time with house made lime mix. Guacamole is freshly made and the real deal. The entire staff is also very friendly and have cozy vibes! Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a good atmosphere and fresh eats.

Went there on a Friday around noon after shopping nearby. Place wasn't too busy. Staff was friendly and patrons seemed to be enjoying their food. We had chips, salsa and quac. Chips were warm, guac was good but I didn't care for the salsa. Sons and wife liked the salsa. Son and wife had Birria Ramen. They both said it didn't have any broth and was spicy. They would get something different next time. Son-in-law had a taco and shrimp ceviche which he liked. Mom had an al pastor taco which she loved. I sampled the Ramen. It was so-so. Wife had a Smoked Puebla Pina which she could barely drink since it was so strong. Others had Huckleberry Acapulco and Cancun Carajillo. They said their drinks were good. I had water and it was cold and refreshing. Overall my group liked it. We may come again if in the area.

This place is 100% undeniable FIRE! Every aspect of our meal (drinks, apps, food) was FLAWLESS! The service was spot on with speed, accuracy, and friendliness! Very comfortable and visually appealing restaurant. 5.0 across the board. Too good to not stop at this spot!

I have driven by this place a few times and thought it was time to stop in...a nice afternoon with lots of sun and they have a rooftop patio! Yeah, I am in! Now the rooftop was closing, they were having repairs done to the misters...no problem, a little hot to be sitting up in the sun anyways...took a spot at the bar, had a margarita and ordered some food! Now, I have been in Boise a little over 3 months now and I will say this is one area with a lot of good taco places, this is yet another! I ordered the mushroom taco and a quesadilla...felt like a good mash-up for dinner! I have to say both items were very much above average! The taco had great flavors in it. I do not do meat so at a lot of the taco places it can be a challenge to find something creative...this one hit pretty hard! great depth to the mushroom, nice flavors for all the fixings and a good tortilla. The quesadilla was even better...nothing fancy but fancy all the same. Great cheese in it, nice shell and lots of flavor. Had some guacamole with it and that was spot on as well! I will be back, to sit up on the patio and enjoy the misters...and have some tacos and a few margaritas along the way! KT

While i read some of the one star reviews, I had a great experience. I am visiting from AZ and my mom and her friends took me to this cute restaurant.. we went during happy hour so drinks were $2 off. I ordered the birria taco and i can't remember the name of the other one but it was the first one on the taco menu with pineapple..Good and Goood!!! i also got the mixed drink with huckleberry... It was perfect and pretty to the eyes as well. we cot the chips with the three dips, Queso, salsa and guacamole.. the chips had tajin. Also fantastic. Our waitress deserved a raise!! she was fantastic. She was helpful, attentive and very fun. I want to come again before I leave. I hope that whoever visits this establishment has the experience I did.

The salsa looks and tastes like if you mixed tomato paste with some mild hot sauce from Taco Bell.

Staff was great, hours were super accommodating... but the quesabirria tacos were missing the quesa part which was super sad. But all of the other food and little things to make the place special were great!

I'm sad to say, I was unimpressed. On 2 different evenings I stopped in to eat here but the wait was too long. We eventually came for lunch instead. I thought for sure with how busy it always is, it was going to be worth the hype. For starters, the menu threw me off a little. I was expecting full meals with sides. Your options are more like tacos, burritos, and appetizer type items. It felt incomplete, but then again it is true to its name "tacos + tequila" so you can say that's my fault for expecting more. For drinks we ordered the smoked Puebla pena which I wish was just a tad sweeter and the Paloma which was yummy. There were no complementary chips and salsa so we ordered the street corn with chips. The corn was okay. The chips had a good flavor. We then ordered the al pastor tacos and shrimp tacos. The al pastor was super fatty in all of ours, none of us finished them. I would not order that again. However, the shrimp tacos were soooo good! Would I return? Idk the small menu was okay for lunch or maybe a snack during a night out for drinks, but I couldn't imagine eating dinner when I'm really hungry here. If I did return, I'd absolutely be getting the shrimp tacos that's for sure!

Great location, plenty of parking we liked that. It was our first time there the menu has quite a few choices. We ordered four different tacos, and we thought they were fairly good. The tortilla on one of mine was not really cooked so I did not enjoy that. Our server was very friendly and knew the menu, but I don't know that we would go back, found it to be somewhat marginal

I've been here multiple times- just me (to go) with a girlfriend & with a large group- all experiences were nice. Even delivery is good (via DoorDash.) As I'm sure you have noted from other reviews already, food tends to be very flavorful, spicy, not hot but spicy- which is not for for everyone. I'm personally thrilled to have a very flavor-full meal without it being hot. It's been awhile since I've been back, & I've never just chilled at the bar, but I'd suspect the bar would be a nice place for a solo meal. I like that the dairy/cheese is more a condiment vs the star of the show here. I personally haven't been impressed with the salads, but the tacos, though the standard street taco size- are more filling than one might initially assume. Of note too is that you can bring their food into the bar next door, though I've not tried that option yet.

Check this place out - Beers and Tacos! So Yummy! Great vibes whether you sit upstairs on the patio, downstairs or inside. The staff is amazing. Food is cooked to order and so delicious and so flavorful. We ordered Al Pastor Taco, Carne Asada, Alta California Shrjmp, and Mushroom Quesataco.

Where have I been in life!?! Came to Spitfire Tacos today for lunch and had the best time!! This place used to be an old burger joint. It got a nice glow up! Quite the venue now! It's bright, colorful and exciting. We got sat at one of the booths right next to the bar. They have bottles of spirits beautifully placed. The bar would be fun to sit at for a fun drink or a casual date night. We were here for lunch and this place was buzzin! It's nice to see do many people out eating and having a good time! Our server came and greeted us. She got our drinks ordered and shortly came back to take our food orders. I got a Huckleberry mocktail for my drink. For starters we ordered the chips with queso, guac and salsa. For our tacos we grabbed the quesabirria taco and shrimp taco. My Huckleberry mocktail was delicious! It was sweet and tart. It was garnished with a juicy huckleberry and a dried lime piece. The chips and dip were fabulous! I enjoyed the fresh quac and queso. It was hard to stop eating the tajin dusted chips. And then you add queso to that chip...... so good! The tacos came out a little after and boy did they look fantastic! The quesabirria taco was devine! It's prepared a little differently compared to other birria tacos. They melt the cheese into the meat and not grill the taco itself. It worked! That baby was filled with the meaty cheesy goodness. Topped with a delicious salsa and onion mix. The consume that came with it was savory. It added a good element to the quesabirria. The shrimp taco was awesome! The shrimp was savory and crunchy. The cabbage slaw on top gave it a nice crunchy element. The sauce gave it a creaminess to the bite. Both of these tacos were chef's kiss! I'm happy I got to try this joint out! The staff was fantastic! From the bartender to the server, they were on top of their A game! The food was phenomenal. The venue is fun and relaxing. I look forward to going back to having more tacos!

Was very excited to take my Mom there for Christmas.....the waitress was amazing! The whole IGLOO.....not at all impressed, under construction, outside, bar put away, looked like a storage room to get to the Igloo........definitely a disappointment, I would not pay 160.00 again. Food......was amazing!

In Eagle for work and picked these guys for dinner take out. My order was ready in 10 minutes, super friendly staff when I picked up the order. Food was delicious.,.al pastor and pork belly tacos, and for sure order the street corn. Pleasantly surprised at some cool tacos in Boise!

I highly recommend this place in the heart of old downtown Eagle and open for only a few weeks. I ordered the pollo asado burrito instead of trying their namesake tacos and have to say that it was the best burrito I've had in years! You need a big appetite because the delicious fillings are plentiful with lots of flavorful juicy chicken, avocado, chicken skin chicharrones, which add an amazing crunch to the burrito and more. I also ordered chips and a tamarind margarita. The tajin chips were excellent but I personally didn't like the spicy jalapeño flavor in the margarita. Service was fast & friendly

Good food and the service is very kind and fast we loved the experience and the food was amazing, the appetizers were awesome especially the chips and salsa.

I can't really speak on what it's like to dine in, have their cocktails or tacos as this was my first time and I was just grabbing a breakfast sandwich at their pickup drive thru on my way to work this morning. I ordered ahead of time on their website for an easy drive thru pickup. I went with one of the breakfast Sando's (a sandwich with chicken, fried egg, hot honey and some sliced red chili peppers).. it wasn't bad but I'd be lying if I told you it really hit the spot or that I felt it was well worth the $11 I paid for it. The sandwich sounded like my dream come true.. sweet, spicy and combining my two favorite foods: chicken and eggs. I will say the chicken was cooked well and was juicy on the inside but this breakfast sandwich overall really lacked in the flavor department. I feel the chicken and egg could have used some seasoning.. black pepper alone can really go a long way had they put some on there. They only put the tiniest drop of hot honey and there were little red chilies sliced on top which I was excited about as I like a good spicy kick and they added no spice to the sandwich whatsoever. It was bland, boring, it had potential but I expected so much more!perhaps their tacos and drinks are better so maybe I'll give them another chance but I'd rather spend more and have breakfast at Squeeze in than come back here for breakfast items... but sadly, I just found out Squeeze In is closing down permanently this weekend:(

Bought a burrito, cost was 20$ and it comes with no sauce and it's about 90% tater tots. No grill marks on the burrito and the way they wrapped it the second I tried eating it, it fell apart. Not even close to worth the money you have to pay for mediocre "California style Mexican"

I'll say that the last couple times we've gone we noticed a dip in quality of the food. Last night four of us ordered over from the brewery (an awesome service). The order came quick, but was incorrect, and the level of salt in/on the food was wild. Like, at first I thought, it's okay, but by about halfway through I couldn't finish it--just too much. They might just need to QA the kitchen a bit.

The food is good but sometimes it can be very spicy. Tonight it was great. The skinny margaritas are so good my wife quit AA and had two of them.

Busy Friday afternoon. Got seated right away. Fast, friendly service. Patio is enclosed in the winter, bar area was nice. Could use some more TV's but has big windows with a lot of natural light. Beer and cocktails were good. Chips and salsa/guac/warm cheese dip were all good. Guac is fresh and real. Salsa is smoky and was yummy. Cheese dip was also good. Not a fan of the tajin on the chips but to each his/her own. Tacos are good sized and flavorful. The Al Pastor was the better of the two (carne). Big chunk of fresh pineapple and tasty pork. Carne Asada was also good. Would repeat and especially when the weather warms and the patio and balcony open up.

Terrible. Big burrito sitting on a plate and nothing else. Inside there was probably a whole onion chopped up which overwhelmed all the flavors. Support staff were pleasant.

Food was amazing! Be sure to finish off your meal with the churros - you will be so glad you did. Service is fabulous! These people aim to please and I'm a huge fan! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some amazing tacos!

This place is still growing into itself Tacos are good. Drinks are good. Service is good. The patio upstairs is roasting in the summer, but will be super nice in the fall and spring. Downstairs is loud. Super loud. Both the drink and food menu continue to evolve. Definitely the restaurant is trying to tune for their customers. Spitfire also deserves credit for being supportive of their community!

Noting some early 5 Star reviews for this newly opened place come from people with only that 1 review in their Yelp history makes me ponder if they may be friends of the establishment to be raving about this so early on. (Looks as if they got moved behind the Yelp filter now so maybe Yelp HQ wondered that too.) I'll offer a counter-balance. This first Idaho location of a CA rooted tacos and tequila themed chain eatery has potential to do well given Eagle demographics but they seem not quite ready to roll and it is an awkward set up with very limited inside seating during cold weather months. They have a long way to travel on the road to earn 5 star reviews, in my humble Yelp opinion. LOCATION & SPACE: On the site of an old Burger Den long time biz in downtown Eagle, this is one of a chain of eateries HQ'd in CA so I anticipated they would be more ready to have things lined up as needed when they opened this Spitfire. Maybe it will work better once warm weather arrives and they can open the downstairs patio and the upstairs (accessible only by outside stairs) deck. But for now one enters via a "weather flap" via the outside patio (see photo) with the inside door open to the outside patio making it awkward in the small interior space which also has very limited seating. Maybe a handful of booths, one accessible - regular height table with banquette on one side and chairs on the other and the rest high seats at a bar. Plus it was SO LOUD inside with music up, even with only the maybe 8 or 10 people seated at the booths and table (but at that a full house for that seating being taken) so it wasn't buzzing crowd noise. No one seemed to want to perch at the bar. Neither did we. They didn't yet offer the food to go. EATS: They are not yet serving all things on the menu given they are newly opened so that's that for the food. Plus, at $6 / taco and $15 / burrito these are approaching Madre Boutique Taqueria prices and it is not in that league for eats. Boise located Madre, helmed in kitchen by Beard recognized chef (also from CA) and FOH managed by his wife who has customer service background in 5-Star hospitality properties, with fabulous food, stellar service and artful ambiance is the North Star for excellence and it is the 5-star against which I weigh others in this dining segment of "gourmet taco". https://www.yelp.com/biz/madre-boutique-taqueria-boise?osq=madre Given time, Spitfire may improve. LIQUOR: Full bar and so this will likely join the "par-taay" focus of other local restaurants that really press liquor and food is secondary which seems to increasingly fit the Eagle market these days. (Ironically, the best places for food in Eagle, Bacquet's for French fare, Bodacious Pig for BBQ and Tasso for sandwiches, either are beer and wine only or no liquor as in Tasso.) EARLYBIRD BURRITO: This drive through for breakfast burrito biz is associated with Spitfire. See this 3 star review from someone who posted at EarlyBird name a day or two ago. Looks like they're not quite dialed in there either. PARKING: Private lot with a few spots and this is an advantage in Eagle where street parking can be tough. ACCESSIBILITY: One spot of ADA parking in the lot but it is not compliant with Idaho Code or Federal ADA law as it has access aisle striping on the wrong side for van access. This is the City of Eagle's failing to approve it but you'll see the same error all over Eagle. One standard height table inside meets the mere minimum of ADA. LOO: I wasn't there long enough to check it out.

Waited over 30 min for a few tacos, only to have them come out wrong and cold. Plus asked for Guacamole and did not get it. And we found this out after we got home. Unacceptable. Ok I have to say we ended up going back and they very nicely took care of everything. So I have to say I was wrong. Thank you for making it right

Their Tacos and Burritos are soooo good. Today I tried their Green Chile queso and it was amazing! Service today was great too!

It has the potential but fell short. Very expensive for the portion. Tacos are small. If looking for a traditional taco place but this is not it. Drinks are weak and expensive. The restaurant is small and loud. Feel crammed in like Sardines. Could not get in and out of our own seats without hitting the other seats. Needless to say, I hope to never be back. They could be really awesome but just fell so short.

I keep coming back. The service is amazing. Constantly having events held to keep things spicy! Spicy food. If you want it. If not let the staff know and they accommodate for you. Smash burger tacos are my favorite! They are a staple! Drinks. Tequila is their specialty and their specialty drinks are incredible. Now for the season of flus they have a drink infused with carrot ginger and turmeric. It's like getting an immune booster in your cocktail!

Despite this being a Tacos & Tequila joint, I don't consider it authentic Mexican food and thats no reason to knock it whatsoever. They're gourmet tacos that are super filling and full of flavor--i love the smash burger taco, mex-tex salad (with pollo asado or carne), al pastor-carne & pollo asado tacos as well as the Quesabirria. Ive ordered their breakfast burrito via Uber Eats and living all the way in Meridian its nice that its only a $.99 delivery fee (altho the burrito is a couple bucks more on the app). I wouldn't compare it to a taco foodtruck or a similar hole in the wall authentic Mexican food joint. Thats an apples to oranges comparison. I love their mixed Mezcal drink (cant think of the name off hand but it literally comes smoking). A couple suggestions i have (not to be confused with a complaint) is i wish their Margarita soaked grapes came more frozen & that they offered nachos as a regular menu item, especially with their tajin seasoned chips. I love the vibe and the mix of reggae & country music playlist they have playing. If you want cheap $3 street tacos or taquitos, go find a food truck or go to that denny's style "ca mexican food" joint in Boise. If you want filling gourmet tacos & burritos with great mix drinks as a date night, night out with friends or to watch the ballgame, this is the spot. Not a fan of the parking situation but thats largely outside their control. This has otherwise become a go to spot and i live all the way in Meridian.

Great service and friendly staff, we ordered the chips and guacamole and holy mole, they don't skimp. Their guacamole & salsa were fantastic. We ordered 3 tacos, smash burger (wife said it was sooo good) pork belly and the shrimp. Both were really good tacos but the shrimp taco brought the heat! My lips were on fire for a solid 10 minutes after finishing it. Thank god for the cool glass of H2O. Cool spot, nice outside seating and tasty tacos and cocktails. We'll definitely return.

Korean Bbq taco unreal. 7 dollar tacos had me suspicious, but man were they good! Made a slight error in my sweetheart's order, but fixed it fast with a sincere apology. Try it, it's pretty darn yummy. Also had the smashburger taco, and yeah, it tasted just like a smashburger.

Wow! This place was fantastic. I ate so much I had to waddle outta there. We all did . Service was spot on. Hands down our favorite part was our server Mel. Love the atmosphere. Just an all around gem. I should have taken more pictures, but I was too busy eating.

Well I usually don't need to down grade a positive review but I have to. We've been back a few times now and unfortunately every time we go the food has become less than the stellar review I posted. The last time was Memorial Day. I was given the incorrect order, finally received mine cold, waaaaaay too spicy and the amount of Onions on my asada taco was overbearing. So saddened by the turn over of cooks is what I can only imagine. There are no more flavor layers as before it's now just Okay. The ceviche was not the original real ceviche this looked and tasted like some orangey Salad dressing was added instead of the plain lime. Needless to say my taco had More jalapeños in it that My jalapeño margarita I'd ordered which had none. Sad day

I love their chips, (dusted with Tajine before baking) salsa and quac! I've tried several tacos they are way above average ! $8...only complaint was my sons burrito. He said if he had a restaurant and a cook prepared a burrito like that he'd be fired! It was stuffed with too much potato and the ingredients were separated . It was dry in spots and meatless in others. He suggested they put the ingredients in something a mix them all together so you get a good bite every time. He lives in Eagle and would be a regular but you lost him on that burrito. I may get him there again because I've lived it every time I go. The margaritas are the bomb too!!

First: dogs welcome on the patio! I visited Spitfire for the first time and was absolutely blown away by the food! My dad & I shared chips and salsa, which we both agreed was the perfect salsa: lots of peppers, thick and lots of flavor. My two tacos were so layered with flavor! Dad tried a burrito and was amazed by how tasty it was. We were both also blown away by the great service Owen K gave us. Attentive and cheery, and even brought more water after the bill was paid, which is almost unheard of! Drinks: I had a basic margarita that wasn't on the menu, dad had an IPA. Both were more expensive than typical at a fairly casual place, the only drawback and reason for not giving 5 stars. Food was a good price for the flavor and amount. First of all, let me start by saying that Michelle R probably needs to get a job. I frequent spitfire tacos and I come from California and now am in Idaho. And I State that because of the fact that living in California Mexican food is easily accessible. Not so much here in Idaho. We have been wanting to try this new restaurant in our area. We want to support local restaurants since we live near by in Banbury. What a disappointment from service...food and price. We sat there for about 10 minutes before any one acknowledged we were there. Gave us water and another 10 minutes before even ordering a drink which took about 30 minutes. At least we ordered everything at once. food was dreadful. Cheese quesadilla was all cheese and very little chicken. All was al a carte. Bill added up so quickly!!!! Unbeknownst to us. BEWARE of hidden costs. Food is better and cheaper at Taco Bell....

This place is simply amazing, I had this sever named Noah I believe and his customer service was incredible! He was super helpful about knowing what would go good with the queso you must get the chorizo with it! As well as the carne asada and smash burger taco! I have had a lot of burgers in my life the the smash burger is a must try! the two bartenders that I saw Kodi and Havi I think were their names came up and asked how the drinks were and the Tijuana tamarind was so so so good a little spicy and you could really taste the tamarind in it! Also what great decorated place with all the plants that compliment the orange interior! I will be coming back with my family soon!!!

Came in for happy hour this week and had the best experience. We both got the street tacos (my wife tried beef and pork and I had pork and chicken). Loved all three - pork being my fave. Then we had the tostadas and they really hit the spot. We sat in the patio and had a great space in the shade. Perfect. But the best part of our experience was the service. Our server Siouxsie was the absolute best. She recommended a turmeric and carrot juice specialty drink that was off the charts. She was super personable and just overall great. Will definitely be back.

What can be said about a place that serves $9 tacos (tax included) and $19 burritos? 'a fool and his money are easily parted'. Actual residents of Eagle are being fooled. They want a real world taco place and what do they get? Fake stuff with fake reviews. They refuse to accept US currency to pay for food. Would they prefer Yuan? Very limited seating and no reservations are available. Unfriendly, unskilled staff. Where did they find these people? Doubt that they are Idahoans because they have ZERO people skills. They are getting desperate by asking friends who have no or virtually no other reviews or friends on Yelp to post 5 star reviews for them. Real FAKE stuff that everyone should see as fake. This is a FAIL. Wherever this bunch came from, they should return to it.
