Splendid & New Splendid Hotel (Adults only 16+)

One of the best hotels in the area, good services, reasonable prices. Unlike most hotels around, you can spend as much time as you want in the Pool and Spa areas. The restaurant was pretty good, you get free parking and splendid rooms. Would definitely repeat the experience!

A perfect accomodation for business people, romantic couples, escape tours. Unexpectadly good pool & spa. 16+ is a good idea. Could be also good to have time in spa for those who prefer without clothes. Very good breakfast. Parking included into te price.

I do not leave many reviews because I understand that things are not always perfect. However, in my 30 years of life I have never had an experience this poor from a hotel; a 4-star hotel at that. Below are the details: Price - two nights $250 Room - 311 (nice view, clean) Front Desk: mediocre - They lied to me that I could speak to management about the issue I will explain below: I slept fine the first night. I woke up and went for a walk. When I came back my electricity in the hotel room did not work. I was told someone would be there to fix the issue. I waited 30 mins; no phone call from management or any sort of communication (ie. text, email) After about an hour I had enough and went down to the front desk to voice my frustration. However, the hotel manager was nowhere to be found. I learned that the "manager" was on vacation and there was no one in her place to help the situation. This is advertised as a 4-star hotel in Constanta. I was born in Constanta but currently live in the U.S. This was the WORST hotel experience in my life. I contacted AMEX to dispute the the transaction as well as Expedia who I booked the hotel through. I had to spend hours of MY vacation to contact AMEX and Expedia to get some/all of my money back. The "manager/management" at Hotel Splendid Constanta is incompetent. I will never book this hotel again, and I warn all those who are traveling for vacation/business here to think again. You ruined my morning Mrs. "Manager" and I sincerely hope you have a terrible vacation. -Andrei

You cannot adjust the room temperature!!! The thermostat is locked and you need to call Reception every time you want to make cooler or warmer or even to turn it off. I have never, ever found this in a hotel.||SPA is tiny and i ly open from 14:00 till 21:00. However the sauna is pretty cold.||TV is not working properly, only a few channels are visible.||Breakfast is a (sorrow) joke.||Far away from the city and any kind of activity.||All in all a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

We had a great experience staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room service was quite fast and affordable, although the food quality was average (we checked in so late after over 26 hours of travel, we really didn't care). Breakfast the next morning more than made up for dinner. There was a great selection of items, and everything was fresh and tasty. The spa was acceptable. We both got massages which were good for the price. The sauna and steam rooms were fantastic, although the "emotional shower" didn't seem to work correctly (the aromatherapy part wasn't working) and the water pressure was excessively high. Again, for the price and location, Splendid & New Splendid can't be beat. If we find ourselves on the Black Sea coast, we will absolutely stay here again.

This is a great hotel and impeccably clean. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was modern. We had a room (305) which was lake facing and really quite and peaceful. The balcony was great and go the sunset in the evening. The spa was great with a reasonably sized pool. The breakfast had a great variety and we were really pleased with our stay.|All in all, a great stay and we would definitely return for sure.

I am telling from experience! I come here for probably 5-6 years. The hotel is worth its name. It os really Splendid! Clean and spacious rooms, nice restaurant, great view. In few words I feel like home. I also get a good discount. Only one all remark - a bottle pf water in the room please😊!
