Splendid China Folk Village (锦绣中华民俗村) is a theme park including two areas (Splendid China Miniature Park & China Folk Culture Village). The park's theme reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture, customs and habits of various nationalities. It is one of the world's largest scenery parks in the amount of scenarios reproduced.
Splendid China Miniature Park have many unique features, such as the magnificent Terracotta Warriors, the eighth wonder of the world; Zhaozhou Bridge, the oldest stone arch bridge in the world; Ancient Star-Observatory, the world's oldest astronomical observatory; the Palace Museum and Leshan Buddha Statue, the world's biggest palace and Buddha Statue; as well as the world's longest fresco, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, and the world's most wonderful karst landscape, the Stone Forest. In addition, visitors can also experience the solemn and dignified Huangdi Tomb, the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, the Ming Tombs, the magnificent Confucian Temple and Temple of Heaven, the grand Taishan Mountain and the graceful beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
The China Folk Culture Village (深圳中国民俗文化村) is located adjacent to the Splendid China theme park and features displays of the daily life and architecture of China's 56 ethnic groups.
