Having stayed here twice before, and having thoroughly enjoyed my stays, I decided to host a celebratory meal for my graduation at Splendid Palace. The food was delicious, the atmosphere exuded elegance, and the service was attentive and friendly. 🤍

Hello,|We had lunch at the hotel restaurant in May. The bill amount was charged to my card three times, each time with the waiter saying it was a "card machine error". I sent an email once I returned to France to request a refund, but never received any reply.|A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and customer care.

We had a wonderful experience staying here for a single night in June. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The hotel building is gorgeous and the interior is decorated so well. It gave me a feeling of what it would be like to live in the late 19th century. The breakfast was incredibly delicious and they had gluten free selections, which we appreciated. Pool was great as well. The library was comfortable and quiet with a great selection of books and places to relax with the sea breeze coming in through the windows. Its rare to find such a nicely preserved and decorated old world room. One of the managers helped my girlfriend pick out a nice ring and was so knowledgeable about the hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

The place is a lovely old refurbished hotel. A 110 years old heritage was shown in every part of it. We had my husband's birthday in the hotel and they very nicely surprised him with  champagne and delicious cake. Service was excellent.  From reception to the waiters were all professional and lovely. Dinner was delicious . It is in a very central location with a fab view. I recommend the cocktail called "mualla". Wow! Overall it was excellent. I wish we would have more of these type of national treasures.

Wonderful experience. First, we got a great room for a nice rate (the hotel was almost empty when we came) and everyone was very nice. It’s true that the hotel has a very special old time atmosphere (we wanted to change for a cheaper option after couple of days but it was already so hard to leave). The interiors are awesome and very stylish, the views from the hotel are magnificent. The reception is very helpful except we did have to ask for some things a few times but eventually we did get them (unlike other hotels in Turkey). Generally the place is very friendly and has a nice vibe. There are some things about the room of course - like old ceilings, stains on the carpet which were quiet unpleasant, and main disadvantage of the hotel - it’s made of wood so you feel like everyone walking is inside your room, but the atmosphere of this place is worth it this disadvantages. What I didn’t like about the room was the bed - first, we got 2 beds moved together instead one one large which is always inconvenient, and second, the mattresses felt quite cheap and too firm. Very beautiful pool (it’s very cold though, would be nice to heat it), tasty breakfast - nothing special but everything is super fresh and we really enjoyed it. Overall, definitely one of the hotel experience we will remember and will love to repeat.

Had dinner here so I can’t say much about the rooms. The restaurant felt like stepping back in time in tasteful manner. The ambience, furniture and other pieces tells a story of the past. Food was great and I would dine here again. Kudos to the team. Great views as well

We wanted to visit the exhibition in the hotel and were asked to enter our ID numbers into the system. When we inquired about this with the front desk employee, she became defensive, insisting this was “common practice” in all museums and exhibitions. I'm guessing she assumed we knew nothing about museums and exhibitions. As someone with experience working in museums and galleries & with a degree in museum studies, I recommend she gain a better understanding of such policies before responding rudely to guests. It was also disappointing to witness her laughing with other guests about us after we left the desk. I wish the hotel had a more professional and informed staff member as the first point of contact.
