Splendida Palace

This was so highly rated I wasn’t quite sure it would be true, but the staff here made it easily a 6 star experience. The concierge was helpful and responsive, the staff gave helpful directions and advice as well as positive recommendations. We were very happy with the room space and cleanings. The location was very close to the old city, palace, and ferry services. The breakfasts were absolutely stuffing in the best way! They had both pre-plated and a 16 item menu of foods that were lovely. Seemed to be an older group of folks coming to this location, but I would recommend any one of any age to come here. Thank you for a great experience!

The Splendida Palace was a beautiful boutique hotel located steps from the Silver Gate at the Diocletian Palace as well as near two food markets and restaurants. Free private parking was across from the hotel.|Ms. Tabak was very easy to contact during the reservation process and accommodated all of our requests ahead of time. She met us in front of the hotel upon our arrival, leading us to our private parking space and brought all of our luggage into the hotel and had our room ready upon our earlier than anticipated arrival.|The hotel is classified as a registered City Hetitage Site and the building is both old and new. The room was very spacious and elegantly decorated and the bathroom was large and had a shower with great water pressure. The mattresses were softer than we liked but we managed to get a good nights sleep. |The breakfasts were very good and there were numerous a la cart options to choose from. Ms Tabak specially made oatmeal porridge and hard boiled eggs for me as a special request. |The plunge pool was refreshing and while in the pool area, we were offered drinks and cookies. The whole property was very clean and there was a separate 24- hr secured entrance to access to the property. Ms Tabak was reachable by a provided cell phone and was available to give us recommendations and directions for sights to see during our stay.

We were beginning a Croatian vacation in Split and so happy we found the Splendida Palace! The service was outstanding, rooms large and airy, plenty of light, and conveniently located just outside the old town. Everything was perfect from before our arrival to arranging a box breakfast due to our early departure. Every time I sat down by the pool, the staff was running over with snacks/fruit. Highly recommend the Splendida Palace!

There are times when you arrive at a hotel and know immediately that you have made a great choice. Such was our arrival at Splendida Palace. They had arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel which was waiting for us at Arrivals. |Marija welcomed us at Reception with details of where to go, where to eat and really useful information about the beautiful city of Split. Our room was so comfortable and included a fridge, kettle, aircon and a really good shower.|We had seen reports of the Splendida breakfast, and they were all true. The cake stand of fruit, savouries and pastries was more than enough, but with cooked eggs too we didnt need to eat again until dinner. |Thanks to everyone at Splendida for making our stay in Split so enjoyable.

We stayed for a night at the end of our holiday sailing the Dalmatian coast. What a fantastic find! Great communication throughout. Incredibly attentive, friendly and welcoming service. Beautiful property with tasteful decor, which was spotlessly clean. Location could not be better - within 5 minutes walk we were in the centre of the old town with all of its atmosphere. Yet, the hotel itself was an oasis of calm and peace. Highly recommended. If we return to Split, we will be booking again.

The customer service at this hotel is second to none. Maria is simply amazing and would do anything to help her guests. The breakfasts were so tasty, the hotel was clean and beautiful, and the customer service splendid! We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, and the customer service at this one ranks right up at the top. You will not be disappointed.

What a gem! This hotel is located close to the centre of Split but in a very quiet road. The facilities are great but what makes it such an outstanding place to stay is the staff and attention given to their guests. Maria provides all the information you need, books rrstaurants that she recommends, provides ferry information and goes above and beyond what us normally offered on a hotel. Every.member of the team was friendly, helpful and really engaged with clients. I can honestly say we have never had such attentive, caring staff before in any hotel we have stayed in. In addition, the bed was really comfortable, the shower was spacious and powerful, the air con was really effective and the breakfasts were fantastic. The best place to stay in Split without a doubt.

Lovely hotel conveniently located next to Old Town and marina. The staff greeted us and carried our luggage to the rooms, which were large, fresh and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and amazing. A hidden gem with a lot to offer and a welcome change from small, worn rooms in our last few European hotels!
