The ambience is nice. The menu is limited and primarily brings Indian flavor with few middle eastern items. The music was Okish except little bit loud. Being in the Michelin selection list, I had higher expectations that was not met. Overall, might-go-to place if you are around.

Such a great discovery, it proved me wrong about Indian cuisine, which I am not a fan of. This is so elevated and subtle. The middle eastern flavors are a perfect balance. Maybe a little too expensive but the location, and the place explain it. It’s really intimate. We had to ask the staff about the menu, which they explained properly and with good details but we had to really push them too!! Which is odd because the menu is not really understandable without details.

What a nice restaurant! We came there on a lunch date and we weren't disappointed. The staff was nice and kind, despite the fact that our baby was sort of fussy throughout the entire meal (sorry about that), the waiters spoke English, which helped us communicate with the masks on, and the dishes were amazing. I loved the fig dessert that managed to combine black pepper in it, and still somehow be super-tasty (first time ever I had a spicy dessert in my life). Great place to go!

If you like Indian it is a must try. Me personally not a bit fan of Indian Cuisine because of the mixed spices and lots lots lots of onions and garlics, but this experience was good. Service and ambiance and music were really good we had noce disco music while we eat. Dishes are simple but really tasty my fav was chickpea mussel and crabcakw from the starters.

Stopped here for our first dinner in Paris. Didn’t know what to expect but wow, what a treat. First, the cocktails were balanced and delicious. We did the tasting menu and loved the adventure. Highlights were the hummus, chicken legs in curry, saffron rice, and tapioca pudding. Our server, Akhil, was a joy. He was so attentive, happy, and made the meal a party.

The place is located right under the bourse building nearby the central area of Paris. The place itself looks nice and interesting concept. The staff is very kind, accommodating and friendly. But apart from that, the music is very loud for a dining place and the food is mediocre considering the price and high expectations built up around the place.

大推shrimp cake 超好吃!The shrimp cake is the best. This chef is very good at handling meat. Beef and chicken are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Minus one star because the fish has bones in it.

Our dining experience tonight at Spoon Restaurant on 25 Pl de la Bourse, Paris, was nothing short of extraordinary. The Michelin classification of Bib Gourmand is well-deserved. The culinary journey began with the enticing starters – the Butter Chicken New Delhi and Chickpea Doha were not just dishes but flavorful adventures that transported us to these diverse culinary landscapes. The main courses, Lamb Dakar and Biryani Jodhpur, showcased a perfect blend of spices and textures, a true testament to the chef's skill. And, to conclude the evening on a sweet note, the Mango Mirpur Khas dessert was a delightful finale, leaving our taste buds craving for more. Spoon Restaurant not only lives up to its Bib Gourmand status but exceeds expectations with its impeccable service and a menu that's a symphony of global flavors. A dining experience worth savoring and recommending.

Yelp
I am a huge Alain Ducasse fan. I have eaten at six of his restaurants in Paris (see previous Yelp reviews of Le Jules Verne, Allard, Benoît, Restaurant Champeaux, Aux Lyonnais, Plaza Athénée, and Le Chocolat) and I have several of his cookbooks and travel books. This is his 24th restaurant which opened less than three weeks ago. The cuisine is mixed and is inspired by his global travels. My experience today, however, was a complete disappointment! The little bit of food that I received was flavorful and amazing. The service was horrible. I think my waiter had at least twelve tables. There was no continuity in the service flow. Long wait times for ordering, delivery and clearing of my dishes, a 20-minute wait for the WiFi code, and finally when I asked to order some dessert and coffee, the chiffon cake au thé matcha, glace au sencha, I was told they where out. As my waiter was giving me the remaining dessert options, the manager interrupted him and they had a conversation. I was also told that dishes in the Bento could not be made without onions. The customer obviously is not a priority. I decided I had enough because I was tired of sitting around doing nothing. I just wanted to leave...fast!!!! I was never offered anything more to drink or if I wanted wine or a cocktail. (Which I would have liked...) I would have ordered another dish (because I was starving) but no one asked...I have never had service like this at any other Ducasse restaurant. It is not the overwhelmingly wonderful Ducasse standard of service that I had grown accustomed to over the years at his other establishments. The interior decor was nice. The serving portions are very, very small. My lunch of three shrimp ravioli (Ravioli de crevettes epicees) and four undercooked skewered scallops (Brochettes de Saint-Jacques citron/wakamé) and a small bottle of Badoit was €40. I have paid much more for food at Plaza Athénée and Le Jules Verne but we received a nice quantity of amazing food to eat!! I left Spoon hungry, upset, and truly disappointed. Then, I went and ate again at another restaurant. I travel the world. I greatly appreciate and enjoy regional cuisines. The menu makes little sense to me...Mexican with Thai or Brazilian...all together in one meal especially with such limited choices?! It is like going to a potluck and everyone is told to bring something. Trying to pair items for a meal that compliment each other from this menu seems unnatural. I won't go back to Spoon. I have lost some faith in Chef Restauranteur Ducasse. Maybe the business has gotten too big and the focus has been lost. www.spoon-restaurant.com
