SPOONS - Southend

Picked up an Uber Eats order from Spoon and also grabbed a fruit bowl for myself. Staff was super friendly, service was quick, and the fruit bowl was fresh with a great portion size. Definitely a positive experience!

8.75 for this. Yes it’s for kids, but still I will never do this to myself again. :( Sometimes they fill it to the top, sometimes it’s like this, you never know what you get :) but I got two bowls, I’m sure they used the remainder from the first bowl and put it into the kids.

Service horrible bowl was pack full of granola and blueberry, extremely too much topping the lady was very rude. It was way too much peanut butter. It was disgusting. I will never eat here again. I will never buy anything from here again smoothie king, for the Win.!!

I’ve seen this place many times and finally went. I got the DJ Queen B and I was a little skeptical at first at the thought of eating peanut butter with fruit but I was pleasantly surprised, it actually added a nice bit of flavor. I usually go to tropical smoothie for my bowls but for $2 more I can get a bigger one from spoons. If you like smoothies I recommend trying this one.

Tried to give this place another chance, but the experience was just as bad as before. Both the Uptown and South End locations serve bowls with way more toppings than açaí, making them feel unbalanced and not worth the price. The employees are consistently rude—especially the blonde girl, which many other reviews mention. On top of that, the South End location has a strong mildew smell. It’s clear that none of these issues are being addressed, so I won’t be returning.

I used to come here quite a bit and decided I was craving a bowl. I don’t mind paying 14.50 for a bowl, but I do mind when it’s not even Full. . I would say it wasn’t even mostly full. I was totally disappointed by this. I expected better.

Great açaí bowls. The flavors are consistent and on point. The only issue i have is that their bowls are already on the expensive side and then on top of that, they charge an extra $2 for SUBSTITUTIONS. My sister doesn’t like raspberries and I asked for blackberries instead and they charged $2 just to swap a berry. What a ridiculous policy. Please change it. Otherwise great.

They always do a great job here! If you order ahead in the spoons app, bowls are ready pretty quickly. They always pay attention to any add ons and are sure they’re included.
