Sport of Kings Motel

Very lovely place to stay. The unit I was in had a spa pool which was very nice. I had everything in my unit that I needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay!! The host was extremely helpful and very friendly. I stay in Rotorua one night a week every fortnight. I’ve spent the last 6 months staying at a different Motel every trip as I was looking for somewhere that met all my needs. I have now found ‘my’ place!! I highly recommend the Sport of Kings Motel to anyone that is looking for that special place!

Very friendly place to stay. Room was very comfortable and warm. Lots of space. Enjoyed the upgrade to private spa room. Location was not too close to town so was nice and quiet but still offered easy access to everything we wanted to do and see. Enjoyed our stay thank you.

We stayed 1 night but would have loved to have stayed longer. The rooms were really clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were the friendliest people I've come across in a long time. Nothing was too much. It's a nice, quiet, peaceful place to stay and not too far from town/supermarkets/restaurants etc. The heated pool was the perfect temperature at 32 degrees.. not too hot, not too cold. We had a great time with our son. I will be recommending this motel to anybody I know who's going to be staying in Rotorua

We absolutely loved our stay!! The accommodations were just perfect- spa like bathroom, VERY clean, well supplied kitchen, very comfortable bed, and great location! The in room laundry was SO convenient. The manager could not have been more lovely- she was available for any questions we had…..thank you for being a part of our wonderful visit to your beautiful country!!!

Spacious, modern apartment with huge comfy bed and full kitchen. Hot tub on the private deck was lovely on a cool day. The Nespresso coffee machine and pods in the kitchen were a welcome bonus.

Recently, my wife and I stayed two nights at Kings on Peace in Rotorua. These apartments are in a quiet neighborhood and just a few kilometers away from eateries, shopping, Government Gardens, and Lake Rotorua. We stayed in a one-bedroom/two-bathroom unit, which was nice, clean, and spacious. The unit had a washing machine and dryer, and we had a parking space right outside our unit. The unit also had a private hot tub on the deck just outside the front door!||My wife and I are particular about our accommodations when we travel, but we have nothing negative to say about Kings on Peace. Our stay was enjoyable, and we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Rotorua!

I have stayed at a lot of motels recently and this was by far the nicest, from the minute we walked into reception. ||Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much. |Rooms are super clean, warm and comfortable. Beds are really comfortable also. |The heated pool was an added bonus. A relaxing area, and the pool temperature was perfect. ||This motel is located in a really nice, quiet area, even though it's on a side street, off a main road. |It is also not too far from supermarkets, restaurants, petrol stations etc. |We will definitely be back

Apartment looks exactly like pictures. The spa is for two people and we had a nice soak every night. Kitchen equipped as it would be in a motel, essentials but enough to sort meals. Rubbish bags were emptied daily, I could have used a do not disturb sign but 10/10 stay on a whole.

Very clean and comfortable lodging. Four of us stayed in unit #1 and there was plenty of room. Staff was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Good value, would go back.

I thought I reviewed this earlier but it was only a comment so I will post again. We are here now and these people couldn't be any nicer! Rooms are clean and provide everything you would want. I understand why it is rated #1 on trip advisor. Real coffee, a carafe of cream, cookies, spas, bikes, a pool, plenty of suggestions, coupons for attractions, and friendly people. We searched and searched and this exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place. Check out my photo of the heated pool too!

This property and management are TOP NOTCH!! The room was perfect!!!! Cozy and warm with EVERY DETAIL thought of for us weary travelers. The beds were comfy and the geothermal heating most welcome on our cold July night. We had a late check in and the hosts (the most professional) were very accommodating. We loved their selection of teas and coffee and the layout of the space was perfect for our needs. Our room was right next to the pool and we didn't hear a thing. The hot tub/Jacuzzi was not hot, but the pool more than made up for it. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer!!

My group of 9 people spent two nights here. The best motel ever! The hosts Tristen and Pete are very friendly and nice persons. After we checked in, they showed us around and introduced many great scenic spots are popular and beautiful in Rotorua. They even gave us many discounts to each scenic spot. If I ever get a second chance to come to Rotorua, I will definitely choose this motel again!
