Sporties Hotel

Our first visit to Sporties Hotel was a great experience. We came for the Thursday $22 steak special, and it did not disappoint — beautifully cooked, just as we asked, and absolutely delicious. Savannah welcomed us with warmth and kindness, and seated us by the fireplace — such a cozy, thoughtful spot. When there was a small mix-up with our order from the kitchen, she went above and beyond to make things right, offering a replacement on the house. Her professionalism and care really stood out. The food was great, but Savannah’s hospitality is what will bring us back. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Rooms look way better in real life, they should really update the accomodation photos. Big comfortable bed with clean bathroom. Food and service was great at the pub as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Thanks for opening on a public holiday so people like me had an option for dining out. I was going to get a Parmi, but because it was a Public Holiday and you weren’t offering the Monday Parmi offer I got the Beef Burger. The Beef Burger was nice, chips a bit oily. It was a pleasant meal and went nice with a beer. Nice pub, glad I came to try it.

Best pub grub! I had the ribs with Mac and cheese 🤯 Geoff was an absolute gentleman and the whole vibe here is a perfect classic sports bar. Cold fresh beer and a buzzing atmosphere- you can’t beat sporties when visiting Launceston!

I have had a pint of Guinness all over Australia and in some pretty good places but in the last 20 years this place has definitely served a Guinness that beats the best of them. You can tell they take pride in their product and definitely clean their lines properly. Can't fault their service either. Thank you for a memorable evening

Cheap and cosy room, had all the essentials including heater turned on cool arrival 🧣. Dinner and lunch the following day was affordable, fast and tasty AF! 🤤 Returning 💯

Stayed for a few days, staff was always helpful and flexible. Food is fantastic pub food and the atmosphere during our stay was always electric!

Lovely old 'pub', pub. Has a lovely beer garden and outdoor dining area. The meals are very reasonable in price. The accommodation, although fairly basic are clean and comfortable..and above all safe. Check out the incredibly brilliant painting of the pub displayed in the bar area !
