Crew behind the counter had really good knowledge of guns. Obviously, they own and shoot firearms. They had an excellent assortment of everything Shooting related. Optics, Bullets, primers, powder, brass and reloading necessaries...all of which were reasonably priced. Thumbs up for the All Around Sporting goods. Nice selection of Kayaks and supplies for the water.. fishing gear ect. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to get there.

The store was clean and well-organized, which made browsing easy. There seemed to be plenty of associates around—everyone was friendly—but not all of them were as helpful or knowledgeable when it came to specific questions. Thankfully, Trent stood out in the best way! He was super informative and made a big difference in my shopping experience. I actually came in just to browse, but with his help, I ended up making a purchase. Great customer service from him!

Very disappointed. I purchased a Leupold scope with the understanding I could pay to have it mounted on my rifle. I was told to return to the store after 1pm and someone would be available to mount the scope for me. I stated I could not return until between 2pm and 3pm and was told that would be fine. I returned at 2:30 and was told the gentleman who mounts them has over 100 guns to check in and could not mount it for me today nor did he offer another day and time. I did not realize how much of an inconvenience I was until after that conversation. I requested a refund, and I will spend my money elsewhere.

Great store - mostly 👩🏻‍🦼 accessible. SW: Please mind the isle displays, that they meet the required space. Please add a curbcut in front of your door for those of us who don't park on the side (where there's no shade). I had to ride next door to get up on the curb. Zero reason not to have a curbcut in front.

This place has everything you need for outdoor activities. It's fun just looking through everything. My husband took me there for sandals but they really don't have sandals. They have various types of flip-flops, water shoes, boots of all types and sport shoes. Their flip-flops were very pricey. I didn't buy anything but I enjoyed look I ng at the fishing equipment, especially the boats. They seem to have pretty good prices on small boats.

This large store has lots of options for fishing from rods and reels to baits and tackle boxes as well as Kayaks and boating accessories, if your thing is sports or working out, there's a lot of that, too. All but one of the employees I have spoken to are friendly and knowledgeable.

This was my first time visiting the Sportman’s Warehouse. I was searching for a gift and the associate in the air rifle department helped answer my questions. The store is huge and spacious and when I went around 12:30PM, there was hardly anyone in there. The store is very clean and well stocked. I couldn’t help but laugh when I thought one of the mannequins was a real person! They way they have them positioned around the store is funny but a bit creepy also because they’re on the ground level so it looks like it could just be a person standing there. So maybe I don’t know much about hunting and camping but it seemed like some of the prices for things were really expensive. Although, the air rifle I was looking to purchase was a pretty good price compared to many online prices. But mainly the clothing and things were very pricey. I didn’t see any sales. I’d say if you’re the type that likes to shop in person for items such as these, then this would be your place!

Anthony Bibbs was my salesperson in fishing dept. Super great guy to work with! Very knowledgeable! Excellent customer service! Would definitely recommend working with him.

This location/building has been a couple of different companies before and I hate to say it - wouldn't surprise me if something else comes in its place as well. It's already a pain to get in and out of this store/parking lot (you're great if you're only coming from one particular side). They have brands I've never heard of but also brands you do know of - but even these, there's little stock of it. Hardly any variety honestly. It's a massive store but feels very "we're about to go on a big closing sale" with the small amount of stock to choose from (particularly clothing). I looked at cups and yetis one time and just looks like a lot of those supplies have been sitting and picking up dust. Customer service: literally non existent. I never seen a person on the floor in my life there, only at registers...which I give them props for being really nice at the front. But outside of that, nothing.

Went into this store looking for some ammo and camping supplies and while things were a bit scarce I sort of expected it due to the holidays. What I didn't expect was the lack of customer service . Upon finding some camping supplies I proceeded to the checkout. At that moment there were two cashiers and I was next in line. James H looked me dead in my eye, cut his light off and left the counter all while smacking on gum. The other gentleman at the register was still dealing with his customer and the other individuals with the party he was assisting also had a purchase to make. The young man had to call James H on the walkie twice before he finally made his way back to the registers. Only to now have not only myself but four other customers waiting to purchase. After James H helped the young man, he then finally cut his light on and proceeded to ring me up. The frustrating part was how he threw my stuff in the bag like he had an issue when I should be the one completely annoyed because I could have been out of the store! If I could give zero stars I would! Will definitely be a while before I go back if I even go back! You all need better staff in this location because if this is the staff representing your brand, you won't last too long.

I was a loyal customer of Sportsman Warehouse, as I look back it was because of the great customer service that Travis provided. I have spent $5-6k in the last few months and that came to an end tonight. I went to pick up a Sig that I was very excited about. Unfortunately, Travis wasn't there and Carlos was. He was not knowledgeable, had horrible gun safety practices, slow as molasses and wins the prize for the worst customer service I have ever had in any store. When he finally got my gun back in the box, I decided to add the service plan. We went up to the front and he couldn't figure out how to scan and add the service plan. I also had a $50 coupon I wanted to use and I was told because it was an online purchase I couldn't use it. I explained that the coupons were from in store purchases, we called Caitlin over, she couldn't help with the transaction or the coupon. I explained to Carlos that he was getting ready to lose a customer that spent a nice sum over the last few months and he said "okay". Surprised that a customer service rep and salesman couldn't care less about losing a loyal customer, he followed up with "I'm not jumping through any hoops to keep you as a customer". Oddly didn't ask him to jump through any hoops, just asked for him to ring up a service plan. In the end, I will use my coupon online and never buy anything from them again.

This places is based off inexperienced employees working positions they have no clue about and managers they lie, I bought $100 arrows from here only because it was a emergency for a competition the next day. They offer complimentary cutting of arrows. That being said when you ask me the length and where to measure from I expect it to be right......WRONG they should have been 27.75" not 27" also left a terrible glue job then they tell me to come up and it will be fixed I drive the thirty minutes just to get showed in my face that he blatantly measured wrong and still told me it was not their fault.......I have gave this place the benefit of the doubt since the field and stream vacated sadly this is my last time. I will stick to my knowledgeable bow shop

Terrible experience....after seeing online and in their flyer an advertisement about one of their small pistols for $249.99 after a $50 rebate, I called to check stock. I was told they had plenty so I drove 30 miles to this place. Went in, asked the guy behind the counter about the gun. He said he did not know of that price and they did not have any. I showed him the gun in his stack of flyers and the price quoted. After a minute or so, he said this has to be ordered via website. I told him, no where in this flyer does it state that. He said well that's what I have to do....so I left, vowing never to return to that store. Service was rude and unhelpful. I did check the website and of course they were out! This was a Black Friday draw....can you say false advertisement???

Buying my first rifle here was a great experience! Everyone at the gun counter was kind and knowledgeable about each rifle I wanted to take a look at. Highly recommend!

So my first review of this store was not a good one. I did give then another try and was very pleased with the service and the people there. Everyone was very helpful and there where no sign of the cow girl who was so rude to me the last time. I was looking for a new hand gun and there staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about there selection. I ended up getting a new pistol and was pleased with the price. They where very busy that day but get me out as soon as they could. I will now recommend them to anyone... first impressions on my part was bad but now I'm very pleased

I am following Boss man around and I come across a spice/ seasoning section where I meet Brittany. She's from Louisiana and gave me so many tips on the spices & rubs. I have to come back and stock up. It was wonderful talking with her. Will be looking for more tips.

Went in to the store to buy some archery supplies. When I was there buying the parts, one of the archery associates told me that if I brought my Compound bow back to the store that he would install the parts for free (since I purchased them there). Well, went back the next couple of days and now one was in the department. Tried to call and schedule an appointment and got no answer after several attempts. Went back to the store, tried to talk to the associates in the customer service area and they just stared at me blankly as if they had no idea that the archery department existed at all. This place is good for just purchasing stuff, but if you need help (that they claim that they provide). Good Luck!!!..

About as friendly as a tick or leach. Must be some Dicks Leftovers. Won't return for a while! To bad it's a beautiful store.

I was completely amazed by this place . It's associated with Dicks but instead of sporting goods it has camping gear , and hunting gear. My nephews were amazed with all the stuffed animals. They have everything you could think of for camping needs . Tents, grills, coolers and even dried food items . The hunting stuff was actually pretty cool . All kinds of guns , bows and Camo gear.

The sale The sales people here are bad enough. Now the score closes at 8 but has 9 o'clock on the door.

I went in to pick up a pistol that was transferred from another location to the one in Greensboro. They had everything ready for me to complete the transaction when I arrived. The only criticism I have was waiting for approval of my background check but they had no control over that. I found a pair of shorts on sale while there so it was a win-win on this visit.

You can find just about anything for any outdoor activity. Prices are reasonable and you can use your dicks sporting points here as well! Nice section of coolers and grills. Large sections of guns and ammo

Their price match is a hoax to get you in the store. I would give them zero stars if I could. Apparently Bass Pros sale prices is their cost that is why their normal priced and sale items are so expensive. The store would not price match Bass Pro sales price on a reel. They first tried to say it was a different model, but when I was able to prove they were wrong they tried to claim it was clearance when it was not. I drove down to Bass Pro and saved $80.00 and confirmed it was not a clearance item just a sale. This place will go the way of Gander Mountain and the Field and Stream. For local fishing stuff I will go to the Academy up the road. Spoke to their Corporate office they said they should have honored the Bass Pro Price and offered me the same price. I told them too late. They had me speak to a manager he offered 20.00 additional off and I told him thanks but I already bought the reel at Bass Pro and will not be back to their store.

This place is great, if you're into the outdoors as far as hunting and fishing, this is your jam. They've got it all, tons of apparel, footwear, guns & ammo, anything archery, any kind of fishing gear and tackle, even got fishing kyaks up in here, they've got camping gear, outdoor cooking gear, BBQ smokers and supplies, just a great store for the outdoorsman. Staff was very helpful, today was the first day they were open, so everywhere I went someone was asking if they could help me with anything. The guy at the front door gave me a 10 minute tutorial on the store and the big animal display at the front entrance. I learned that all the animals have names, but I have no clue what they were, I think the bear was named Bubba. The new Field & Stream store is beside Home Depot in the spot where Sports Authority used to be on Bridford Pkwy.

Was in here yesterday and I saw more than a dozen people without masks. They clearly do not enforce their mask policy, and I could care less about shopping at a place that doesn't care about their customers.

Field and stream refuses to sell guns to 18 year old men. Yet 18 year old men can fight for their country in the military. This is a slap in the face to every young soldier. I encourage you to visit field and stream to see what you want to buy then order it from amazon or go to cabelas / bass pro to buy it.

Been in this store multiple times and against my better judgement, having waiting almost an hour to be helped, bought a bow and all the gear needed to set up my son. We spent hours waiting when we came back to get bow bow specifically set up. It was then an hour before close and we were basically rushed to get done and out by close and they half assed the service. Shame on me for not using my initial judgement in the first place.

Love this place they have everything you could possibly need in the outdoors. It's like gander mountain but has more stuff and better prices. Probably my new favorite outdoor store, looking to buy a kayak here soon.

This place is a joke bought a 120 dollar fishing rod and the first time I went fishing it broke it was on the front of my boat and got the quark were the manager said that he couldn't do anything since it looked like it was used" it shouldn't matter if it's broke you should do a return or a swap they leave people hanging and run with there money I wouldn't spend a dime on this store and hope they enjoy not getting they money I was going to spend in the store. Take in mind I'm 14 and am trying to spend a good days fishing but can't because of crappy managers and employees. The j my thing they tried and help with is telling me how I should have it fixed by the manufacturer even though I. Bought it at sportsman's warehouse not Dobyns do not buy anything here they are pathetic and shouldn't be in business

I can't wait to shop for my son at this location. He loves to hunt and fish. I can't find anything for him usually but this will be perfect. Especially with the holidays just around the corner. Grand Opening this week starting 10-8-15.

Beware of Bait and Switch tactics. The posted price for an item is not the same as the check out price. Posted price was 2.99 with an advertised special of buy 1 get 1 50% off - $4.50 correct. No wrong the regular price is $4.99 plus $2.49 or $7.48. So show us the 2.99 then get to check out and it is 4.99. Bait and switch!

I love coming here every weekend. They have EVERYTHING. Great selection on Ammo as well. I'm looking at a safe as well just great selection on a lot of great stuff. Store is laid out nicely friendly staff great service. Gun department can be busy at times.

It has now been 4 trips to the Greensboro Field and Stream location to try to buy a Beretta 686 or 690 shotgun.I waited a minimum of 10 and mamimum of 20 minutes to be waited on by anyone.No one ever asked to help me.Mine would not have been an insignificant purchase,I waited next to the more expensive shotgun display wall and nothing.Non-existent customer service.

I had a friend tell me they had great ammo prices and I was skeptical. I have ordered almost all mine on line and have only rarely found store prices to be close, even considering high shipping costs. F&S prices on guns and ammo were at worst ok, and some better than anything on gunbot! My wife went with me and she actually enjoyed it a great deal and is going back with me tonight. I'm hoping this is sustainable and not just a grand opening bonanza. Their rewards program is good, and (warning) contagious. The staff is excellent and I enjoyed the banter with several employees. I'm not one to lightly give 5 stores as a resist absolutes, but they are great!

Let me state that while I do understand rules are rules.... sometimes you have to make a judgment call. My daughter and I had been shooting my fathers S&W K frame 38 (she liked it). Went in with my daughter to buy a box to replace the one we had shot and look at what to get for her 21st (one handgun and one shotgun). The sales man was very knowledgeable and VERY patient with us, as I know just enough to keep me from injuring myself or others. we spent the better part of an hour comparing the three we had narrowed it down to. With information to mull over we bought our ammo and cleaning supplies and left. Much to my surprise, I had NOT purchased bullets but Sierra .38 Caliber Sports Master Jacketed Soft Point Bullets 100 Count. A few days later I went back to return the slugs and get actual bullets. The manager was very polite and informed me that they could NOT take them back due to fire arm laws (the slugs would have to be turned over to the sheriffs dept and destroyed). She did offer a $10 store credit for a $22 item. I left rather disappointed, but not overly surprised. chalk it up to opportunity lost to gain a customer. ps: yes, we did end up with new guns. she has her kel-tek ksg and canik tp9sa cia. for me, a ruger 8608 (left handed) and a nice little Mossberg 500 pump 410 with shoulder stock.

A fishing rod broke on me the second time I used it. I had the receipt and knew they would help me with it, NOPE, the Manager said they don't cover that. Found out that they don't cover much of anything. Wrote Field and Stream and they said to contact the manufacture but that they didn't know how, no help again. Prices too high, No customer service, there are too many other places to go that will help you. Don't go here.

I was in the market for a handgun and found the staff here (Connor) very helpful, knowledgeable and very patient with my many questions. He advised me all about permits, where to get them, etc., classes I'd need to take for each level of permit. Following his advice my purchase, with the needed permits, was extremely painless. He showed me a variety of handguns, let me handle them all but did not pressure me into purchase of a particular model. I'd done some research on line and had fairly well decided what model/type I wanted and Connor was very helpful with the whole transaction.

This place had the rudest, most unprofessional staff i have ever seen. My wife and i walked in the store on a wednesday night at eight pm. The store was not busy, one staff member was standing at a display texting. After waiting a few minutes we asked him if they carried binoculars. Without looking up he said "firearms". We then went to firearms. The staff member on duty was on the phone and computer with his back to us. He kept looking over his shoulder like he wanted us to leave. We waited over twenty minutes before he turned around and said " i do not know what you want but i can not help you. What do you want?" I said binoculars. He replied well you need to go somewhere else. I said i will, and he said GOOD ! My wife and i had not complained , or even spoke to him. My wife grabbed the binoculars and headed to the front counter. She tried to explain to the staff what happened and asked for the manager. No one was available. we drove a half mile away and went to Dick's. Where we recieved excellent service and bought a good pair of binoculars. Upon arriving home i called back to the store and asked for the manager. I was put on hold for over fifteen minutes then the young lady who had put me on hold got on the phone again to tell me no one was available. I will never visit this rude place again
