The atmosphere is by far so amazing in the heart of the Elmwood Village! Good vibes, people, staff, and love going here... I just wish they would be open past 7 pm like back in the day. Now we have to go to other places open later. 😞 Wish they also had recycling/recycled like their neighbor, Panera... I hate throwing out my plastic cups!

Google
They changed my favorite grilled cheese on the planet and went with a panini type bread. The cheese is the same mild cheddar, but no tomatoe and the miracle wip, I think, is no longer used on the sandwich either. The green salad 🥗 and dressing remain the same. The hot drinks no longer have the tall, grande, and Venti format for the coffee and other hot drinks. It's simply large or small. Other than that, not many more changes, but they lost a step with those changes.

This location doesn’t use quality grade matcha. Barely any matcha powder was used in my latte. It was an oat milk beverage with a dust of matcha. There are better quality matcha lattes at niche coffee shops on elmwood for the same price.

Employees are exceptional. So exceptional it motivated this review. Very warm, friendly people. Made me very happy. I'm tired of eating unhealthy garbage and wanted a real sandwich. Wasn't disappointed ☺️ They made it fast too. Happy customer here.💯

there’s always a super long wait here & sometimes the coffee is a little watered down. there’s a lot of seating though so you can count on being able to find somewhere to chill and get work done. the food is really good for the prices

Out of all of the spot coffee locations this is by far my favorite. No matter what time of year it is a good atmosphere… sometimes it gets a little bit difficult in the warmer weather to be outside with yellow jackets, but obviously that’s not the fault of the coffee shop! The barista are always friendly. I would have to say my orders have never been incorrect in the 15 years. The food is fresh and delicious consistently made the way that I like it! It’s generally pretty clean and there are multiple different types of seating options available.

If you're bored taking orders and you don't like people and you're surley and gruff with hibernation bear monosyllabic grunts that pass for communication or worse still u have a faux fake smile and mess up an order then don't be a barista or be front order staff? I find myself asking why I continue to add 20% tip to a could-care-less attitude and God forbid if anything goes wrong with ur order, one commits a federal offence for the temerity of asking the order to be made good. I like the atmosphere of spot quite a lot and it's laid back attitude. However I don't care for the urban smugness that isn't shabby chic. It's just good old fashioned bad manners.

We were visiting Buffalo and stayed a few blocks away. Decided to try Spot on our last day. Not sure if it’s a Buffalo thing but the customer service was just okay. Almost felt like we were bothering the cashier. On the other hand, my latte was great. Went back to order another item and they totally forgot about it. Decided to just get a refund.

Yelp
I love Spot Coffee, especially the Elmwood location. It was my high school hangout and now it's my grown up one. Delicious coffee and foods, great ambiance, wonderful people, excellent service. A Buffalo institution.

Yelp
I love SPoT Coffee Elmwood. Service is always good and they usually have open tables. Highly reccomend checking out the seasonal menu if they have one when you go in.

Yelp
One of the bigger SPOT locations (first one?) It's in a great area of Buffalo; Elmwood. Like Buffalo and Spot a lot!

Yelp
The food was great!! There was a bit of a wait but the food was fresh!! The sever I had was a bit dismissive but I came in pretty early. Overall great time! I brought a book and read, great start to my day. I do also want to add that the prices have gone up from the ones in menu photos. I got a tall chai latte and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, it was around $15!

Yelp
I've been here twice, and both times I had a bad experience. Service was awful. The first time the cashier kept talking to her friend on the side nonstop, and didn't bother to ask if I was ready to order. The second time I waited for my simple regular coffee for 15 minutes, I went up and asked the cashier where my order was- she said she had made the coffee but forgot who ordered it and threw it away.... Lastly, the Wi-Fi wasn't working. I recommend Five Points Bakery if you want a nicer environment to do work.

Yelp
Last week I asked the server if they had anything for a vegan, she did not even tell me about the vegan burger they have, which probably would've been the safe thing to suggest, no, she immediately said the veggie wrap, I had asked if it was vegan and she says it's all veggies. After having a couple bites, I realized there is definitely goat cheese, veggie wrap... the fact that allow cashier to not understand the difference or what they have on their own menu, or that would have the nerve to suggest something that they don't fully understand to a customer is extremely discouraging. But I guess I was dumb enough to think that I can't blame the venue for one of the workers actions So I decided to try again, This time at Spot, the cashier refused to take a $50 bill, they said they were not accepting large bills. My order came to $40 and If it says legal tender... "This note is legal tender for all debts public and private." I searched on my bill. It did not say unless your at spot coffee. Are they trying to force me to have and use a credit card? Do they not know that spending cash helps the local community? Are they not about helping the local community? Luckily, I did have some smaller bills on me. Then, after they told me, my food must be taken to go since they claim they were full... even though there were many chairs open, and they were nowhere near the fire code limit of persons. I believe this was a passive, aggressive unreasonable judgment, call because I criticized their refusal of legal tender in the US. This time I got the vegan burger, it was very good, but I don't know if it was worth dealing with the service, I'm sure he was just doing his job, if so then I blame their policies. Disappointing to see how far they fallen. Sad

Yelp
Just stopped in on our morning walk for some coffee drinks! Fast and friendly. The drinks were good. Nothing stood out as above and beyond. We would stop back if we were in the area. Also, the food options looked promising.

Yelp
Egg sandwiches were OK. Coffee and tea were OK. Cashier was totally aloof. She couldn't be bothered to answer the simplest questions. Food and drinks were completely overpriced. When your food is ready, they just leave it on the counter for you to pick up. They had no idea who's plate was whose. We're 95% sure that the danishes came from Costco.

Yelp
I definitely have nostalgia for Spot, for when it was a local company with just a few locations. Growing up in Kenmore this area of Buffalo seemed foriegn and this space so artsy. Fast forward to 2019, Spot Coffee was sold years back and can now be franchised. The space once for people on the fringe and self expressors is now commercialized hipster. This location has changed over the years, once confined to everything right of the barista counter when the record store closed they expanded left. Their menu has not changed much and has neither improved or declined. I stick to a few selections such as black coffee, which not my preferred brew as it is a bit acidic but it is better than some other chains and a few of the new roasters. Unlike the new guys/gals in the area they stick to one roast however. Food wise I stay with the Mike Sandwich, which is 2 pan fried eggs, melted provolone cheese and cream cheese (which makes the sandwich) and can be personalized by selecting your bread and adding meats. I always add bacon and get it served on an everything bagel. Additionally a few dashes of hot sauce top it off. My other favorite is the Spot's Pesto Chicken, formally called the Chicken Focaccia which I always end up calling it. This sandwich is basil- pesto chicken, sun-dried tomato pesto (ask for extra-yum), melted mozzarella cheese and pesto aioli. You can select white or wheat focaccia and it is served with choice of kettle chips or salad. I've had a love/hate relationship with this location over the years and it varies on the staff, hence the stars. I avoided this location for many years when an employee I no longer see here cursed at a customer. I've worked retail, I've worked food service and that talk belongs behind the counter, away from customers. (It doesn't really belong but we all know it happens) My other frustration is the taking of names at the counter, if you aren't going to call it when an order is ready what is the point? I've lost many and had orders linger because no one knows who's order is who. (I don't long for the days when they handed out a toy as a method of calling)

Yelp
Worst customer service experience ever on Saturday 9/30/23 830 am. So incredibly rude. Didn't even stay to have coffee.

Yelp
Always a great 'spot'! Cozy, welcoming environment that never fails to please! From their wide selection of teas, coffees, specialty drinks and a sundry of food selections, there's something for everyone. I always enjoy coming here for a quick bite or coffee to go but most of all to sit relax and work on projects.

Yelp
Spot coffee is a solid option for students or families or anyone wanting to spend some time in a larger cafe with a mostly nice atmosphere. I especially appreciate all of the outdoor seating in the summer. The quality of the coffee is a little out of date. If you want a good cappuccino or a cortado there are better options in the area. The menu hasn't been updated in years and is pretty boring - and food in the display case is often stale. Staff are also a big issue. The last time I was there they were playing death metal so loudly that it was impossible to talk. A lady asked one of the staff to turn it down and he said no. Like, he actually said no and walked into the kitchen air drumming, lol. Another recent time a woman on staff walked up to a table with some dishes and started swearing loudly and banging the dishes, saying that customers should clean their own tables (I agree that they should but swearing and banging dishes isn't good either). Lines can also be long as staff often chat and goof off. There seems to be no management. The place can also use more frequent cleaning. If the staffing issues can be fixed and the food updated and coffee improved this could be a great cafe!

Yelp
Always a great stop. We are big fans of the grilled cheese. Get the salad dressing on the side though as it's pretty intense and they usually put too much on. Excellent coffee, and chai latte.

Yelp
This particular location has super friendly staff, ample seating, and lots of nearby street parking. The drink offerings are great, I enjoy their cappuccinos, iced coffee, and caramel macchiatos. They also offer a wide variety of smoothies and shakes to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their pastry case is always stocked with delicious baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are my personal favorite :) The food here is not bad, but not really star-studded, either. Every time I get a sandwich or a wrap, I think to myself, "Huh. I could've made this for myself right at home." Today I had the breakfast wrap, and it really was just okay. Scrambled eggs (on the heavy side), provolone cheese, and salsa in a tortilla. I could only eat half because the eggs were just.. too much. The prices here are kinda steep. You're basically paying just as much as you would at Starbucks. I wish I enjoyed Spot more than I do. If I'm on a time crunch and in the area, I'll stop for coffee and pastry, but you'll seldom find me here for a meal.

Yelp
They could take a day to really clean the place since they close at 4pm. The food is generally okay but sometimes I have issues with it, like wanting feta cheese in an omelette and they dump it all in one spot. Spot of feta lol The espresso was just awful! Which was the biggest disappointment. All the staff have been friendly and generally great. So it's kinda of a mix bag.

Yelp
My fiancé took me out to spot on Elmwood. We got a turkey Panini the service was incredibly fast because they didn't even toast Panini. Every table in the restaurant was filthy, and there was no ambience only people talking quietly amongst them selves we went to several tables to sit down while the ladies behind the counter talked amongst themselves. Finally, I got up and I asked the lady if I can get a towel and a spritz bottle to clean a table for us, and that's when she came over to wipe the table . Also our sandwich only had two pieces of turkey on it. It was barely toasted. We will never spend another dime in here.Completely just awful all around. Ridiculous.

Yelp
Spacious inside with a cozy atmosphere. Lots of seating. Good menu with baked goods, desserts and heartier dishes like wraps and pizza. But service is so hit and miss. I've had great customer service and then people who look like they'd rather die than take a drink order. I literally had to make eye contact with the barista tonight to get them to start making my drink because they were chatting with their coworkers. I've waited tables, tended bar and worked retail - customer service is part of the job. Otherwise this is a great place.

Yelp
Today, I ordered the $7.60 "The Mike Sandwich- Our Best Seller" and paid an extra $2.25 for bacon and another $2.25 for avocado. To save you the trouble of doing the math, that totals $12.10 -which is pretty steep for a sandwich so naturally I expected a modicum of good quality to grace my presence when it arrived. I probably could've gotten over the fact that my sandwich was lukewarm OR that only two strips of bacon were in my sandwich but the avocado I received was just disrespectful. Firstly, I ordered AVOCADO but received guacamole. Secondly, the amount that was added to my sandwich looks like someone put guacamole on the bagel and then tried to wipe it off. All around, it was a sad and Extremely overpriced, pathetic sandwich.

Sooyoung H.

Yelp
After reading a review online complaining about bad service but amazing bagels (lol) I decided to give it a try. Overall I would say the food did not disappoint! The bagel and panini were both crisp, and the drinks were sweet and refreshing. I'm not sure if it's because we visited close to the closing time, but there wasn't much waiting either. The employees at the time of my visit all seemed friendly, except for the guy with long hair who would just leave food on the pickup area instead of notifying the customers. My only complaint is that the tables all seemed kind of dirty, and there weren't enough employees cleaning the tables after the customers used them.

Yelp
I'm not a coffee drinker at all, but I stopped in for a late brunch with my son. We each had a bagel with cream cheese. I also added smoked salmon to mine. They were a little too generous with the cream cheese. My son wasn't a fan. I tried the caramel macchiato. If it had half as much espresso, I think I would have loved it. Like I said, not a coffee drinker, but I might try it again. My son had hot chocolate. It's a large coffee shop with an eclectic clientele. Lots of college students, naturally, but I didn't feel out of place. As an aside, they had a couple varieties of Paula's donuts, including red velvet, at a whopping $2.59. Personally, I'd rather save a buck fifty and get a fresh one from Paula's.
google avatar

Avni K.

Yelp
Pros 1. Love the staff out here, they are super friendly 2. Have about 5-6 different 'Egg' related brunch options. Our favorites are mikes and western omelet. Cons 1. It can get noisy, they have background music playing & a lot of people (given the huge space) 2. Latte is our go to type of coffee and it's a either a hit or a miss (I would love for them to add lesser milk) Tip: 1. carry your headphones 2. if you want healthy brunch then try the western omelet with spinach and no cheese. Get the choice of bread toasted (no butter)

Frank D.

Yelp
They used to have an amazing staff and was a pillar of the Elmwood village community but recently the whole staff quit bc the manager was unfairly fired by the giant corporation that owns spot coffee. Spot coffee treats it's employees like absolute trash and everything is extremely overpriced for a mediocre cafe. It has gone so absolutely downhill from what it once was. Do not go to spot coffee, support local shops!!! Long live workers!
google avatar

Amber J.

Yelp
This is a VERY spacious Spots with a very nice vibe. The ceilings are very high and a lot of seats available. The baristas are nice and very friendly too. It can get a little loud in here with the music on in the background, the coffee grinders going, machines running, and with all the chatter. If you're planning to work, make sure you're a person who doesn't mind background noise. (Not a great place to take phone calls either!) We ordered a Moroccan mint tea and iced coffee, and it just tasted like regular Spots drinks. Nothing unexpected. :)

Yelp
Love this beautiful classic cafe! I have been this place many times. Diverse types of seats, capacious place, many power plugs, cool wall paint/ paintings l, and also vibe atmosphere are it's pros! Mocha was above the average, not bad not so much good! However I was happy with it. Hopefully it will be cold very soon in Buffalo because I saw a couple of fruits fly inside. (Not a bad idea to do sth instead of trusting the process!)

Yelp
There's no argument that SPoT is a staple of Buffalo, however it is definitely not the best coffee place in Buffalo. I usually get their house brew or iced coffee with almond milk. They are solid blends but definitely not my favorite. SPoT's biggest appeal is that it has a TON of seating. As someone who always has her nose in a book, I come here to study quite a bit because you're practically guaranteed a spot. However you aren't guaranteed an outlet. A few of the tables are located next to one, but those tables are usually taken. Where I have the most luck getting an outlet are at the counters by the windows. The internet could be better, but there is a Time Warner Cable hotspot too, so between that WiFi and SPoT's WiFi, I almost always have connection. But I only use the internet for things like google searching. I have had their sandwiches, they're expensive and not special. What I usually order are their bagels. I love bagels so it's a perfect snack for me and not too expensive. Every once in awhile I'll order their quesadilla, I enjoy their quesadillas, but it's literally just a ton of cheese so how could it be bad?
google avatar

Yelp
My order: egg and cheese burrito Take out: hold the salsa, order was prepared upon my arrival for pick up Parking: limited street and side street parking. Some is pay to park on the main St. There is no parking lot. I ended up having to park all the way down the side street and walking quite a ways to get my take out. Which made a quick morning pick up a bit too inconvenient for me Covid rules: few dine in and working tables that are social distanced
google avatar

Buffski S.

Yelp
Large roomy coffee shop. Plenty of room to work and find a table. Great patio. Side street parking off Elmwood. Neighborhood staple. Coffee decent. Union staff. Close earlier than before. Masked baristas are hard to understand as they are the only ones still masked.

Yelp
I discovered SPOT COFFEE years ago when I was desperately seeking a location with WIFI that had some great java to keep me writing and it seems that I continue to fin them useful for work even when I don't use the wifi. SPOT COFFEE on Elmwood provides a wide open setting for those up close business conversations that all of us have to have from time-to-time. The seating is spaced just right so that the neighborhood corporate spy would really have to lean in to pick up your conversation. I really like the staff at this SPOT. Friendly but not overwhelming early in the morning, which is when I show my face here .... sometimes way too early in the morning for my liking. This morning's breakfast was just right ... ok, not totally right because I wanted swiss on my omelet but the cheddar was real sharp cheddar with a taste of cheddar that blended well with my egg that was prepared in the perfection of omelet fluffiness. The coffee ... AWESOME thank you! Plus I had a multi-grain bagel that was pretty good ... not chewy enough for my liking but definitely more than a roll with a hole. The only issue that I have with SPOT as I do with other establishments that require you to clear your own table just like home. I am sorry, when I go out I want the people working at the places I eat to clear my table but I know what I am getting and I'll be back for another early morning meeting in the very near future!
google avatar

Melissa D.

Yelp
I really only come here for the location, it is very convenient for me to walk to. The outdoor seating is nice, and it's nice that there is a lot of space inside. There's nothing worse than when you go to a cafe and there's no where to sit. They also allow dogs out on the patio. Their food is nothing special. Variety of sandwiches, wraps, bagels, and baked goods. My favorite thing to get is the "mikes sandwich." This is basically a just a bagel with egg on it, but they also put cream cheese on it which actually is very good and you can add bacon or a meat to it. I also enjoy the java/mocha Frappuccino. It's similar to the java chip they sell at Starbucks. This is a place to go to read, study, or meet up with a couple friends for a coffee. Agreed about the WiFi being spotty though if you're trying to get some real work done.
google avatar

Sasha S.

Yelp
Used to be one of my favorite places to go, I've been coming here since 2008 if not longer however the rules and policies and constant turnover rate is just super non customer friendly. If a customer makes a mistake regardless of whatever a local business should be accommodating. I wouldn't go here the baristas are not who they use to be.
google avatar

Tianna C.

Yelp
I can't believe this is the first time I've stopped here. To start, this place is huge! Lots of seating everywhere, there's tables and chairs as well as comfy sofas. They have a great menu, breakfast and lunch options and plenty of sweet treats. They have cake, pastries, muffins and Paula's donuts. I grabbed a bagel with cream cheese and a muffin. The prices are very reasonable too. I'll definitely be a regular here seeing as it's just a walk away from where I live.

Yelp
I recently purchased 2 bags of whole bean coffee. I grind my coffee as needed for my french press. I ground the coffee beans that I had just bought in my coffee grinder, the same one I have always used. The beans were so bone dry that they turned to dust upon grinding. Not one little bit of the oil that usually comes with grinding was evident. Surprised and Disappointed.

Yelp
Awesome place with great food, amazing coffee and comfy atmosphere. Can be pricey but worth it. I ordered the chicken panini and a coffee. Panini has some very thick bread but tasty. The side salad was very flavorful also. I love the inside and outside seating, lots of space. Parking can be very tricky on Elmwood. This is a great place to meet or relax and get some work done. Friendly staff and fresh food and coffee. Love visiting whenever I'm in the area.
google avatar

Nikki G.

Yelp
This location is in the heart of Elmwood. I usually like their rice krispy treats, however, I decided to not get one. I was in the mood for something cold. I chose a mint iced tea. It was refreshing and was made right away. I didn't have to wait longer than 2 minutes. My friend ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and loved her's as well. The employees are nice and fast. The downside was that they were playing The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, and although I love it, it was super loud and needed to be toned down.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Cool ambiance, but not great coffee. One member of our party enjoyed his espresso. Two members of our party thought the Americanos were bad- watery and acidic, tasting like mop water. The fourth member of our party didn't like her drip coffee. Would not go back.

Yelp
My favorite spot to study ! Great vibe , great coffee and super great staff. They have a variety of furniture which you can pick your seat from depending on your mood . If you wanna study go for the desk, if want to chill and hang out coaches are super comfy . It is quite so you can focus on what you are doing but it is not that empty that feel you are the one on earth who has to study in a Friday night ! Great experience and Spot never disappoints !!!!!!
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
My husband and I got an iced white chocolate mocha here and it was super tasty! We enjoy our coffee like my husband's personality...super sweet! Haha:) Ok, corny I know! But really, it wasn't too sweet in our opinion, it tasted just right. Very creamy. The service was very friendly. The interior of the place was very cute and spacious yet cozy. If we had had more time, we would have loved to sit and enjoy our coffee with some books. Alas, maybe you will get to have that experience in our place. I recommend Spot Coffee!

Yelp
Spot Coffee = Spotty Wifi. Not a great place to do Internet work unless you bring your own wifi card. ++ Parking lot. Lots of space, perfect for business meetings, interviews, etc. Open late. Good people watching. Nice Patio Good place to do work if you don't need the Internet (and you like noisy environments). Coffee is hit or miss, but usually a hit. I like their specialty blends (especially Ethiopian). Espressos are nice. Strong coffee. I usually get it half decaf otherwise it's too strong. -- Pricey sandwiches which are not always remarkable. Wifi. Couches are not comfortable. Nice window seats. Overall: hipster coffee shop with decent drinks, spotty wifi, overpriced unremarkable sandwiches and lots of space.

Yelp
This is more regarding the service than the actual drink. 1. It was a moderately busy Saturday late afternoon and I waited about 5 minutes in line (no complaint) 2. The couple in front of me told me to go ahead of them because they were going to chat with the person at the register (no complaint - that was super nice!) 3 The cashier quickly took my order and I paid and Bam. Done. 4. And then I waited 5. And waited 6. And waited 7. The couple who was behind me got their drinks before mine because they were friends with the cashier. 8. The person making my drink made it incorrectly because they were too busy yapping to the couple. 9. And I waited 10 Finally got my drink Honestly, I appreciate that people are super friendly, but I shouldn't have waited 10 minutes for an iced vanilla latte. If I wanted to wait, I would have gone to Starbucks.

Yelp
It is funny how different the Spot Coffees are from one another. This location is HOPPIN. Definitely don't come here expecting peace and quiet, because on a Saturday around noon, well, ya ain't gettin it. I spent about seven hours here this past Saturday and couldn't believe how many people come in and out. I think I had seven different people sit next to me while I was there. I took a nice spot at the high top bar area by the window, I definitely recommend grabbing a stool there, as long as people watching doesn't distract you. The parking here is not good. Either you get a spot on the street or you have to park far away. This Spot in my opinion was more for coming with big groups rather then getting cozy and studying. The ambiance wasn't very "warm" to me. But, the coffee is dang GOOD. Red eye.....people....all about the Red Eye. Also just found out there is almond milk, wonderful.

Yelp
OVERALL, 3.5: I enjoy coming here for a quick bite to eat or drink while getting some work done. Parking can be tricky and wifi can be spotty, but decent coffee and food with a lot of seating. [FOOD - 3.5] I try not to read other reviews before I write one, but I happened to be scrolling through a few and saw a couple people mention they thought their food was over priced. I am quick to point out when I feel meals are over priced and I honestly do not feel like anything I've eaten here has been. Granted, I haven't had a lot as I mostly stop in for coffee, but from what I've experienced I thought the prices were fair for the amount of food and quality. I got a panini with a side of greens and it was right at $10. To me that seems about normal. Anyway, the food I've tried hasn't been anything special, but it's been pretty solid cafe fare, that I would definitely get again. [DRINKS - 3.5] When I come to Spot, it's typically just for a drink. I will get a plain latte on occasion, but honestly I usually just stick with your basic iced or hot coffee. The coffee here is decent - nothing to rave about, but it does the job. [ATMOSPHERE - 3] I think it depends what you're looking for. There's so many great local coffee shops in Buffalo, that I love, and they each have their own unique vibe. When I'm coming to Spot, it's because it's a larger space with ample seating, many outlets, semi decent parking options, and has decent food/drinks/atmosphere. The music can be a bit loud, but I don't find it TOO distracting, it just isn't ideal usually. [SERVICE - 5] I've always experienced awesome service. The people behind the counter seem genuinely happy at work here. Everyone has always been very friendly and my food / drinks have always been prepared in a reasonable amount of time NOTES * Being directly on Elmwood, there is only on street parking. This is a fairly busy area and sometimes it's difficult to find parking. I find searching on the side streets helps a lot, but still, it can be tricky to find *Wifi can be a bit spotty, but I haven't found that it prohibits getting work done too much. (The wifi may go out for a minute but then it automatically reconnects just fine, but it can happen more frequently at times)

Yelp
Made a quick stop at Spot to grab some lunch and caffeine before heading into work. I LOVE their chai tea lattes and their coffee in general. It's probably one of the better tasting coffee I've found in the area. Today I got a chicken feta wrap with a side salad. I've always been a fan of their house dressing. Everything tasted fresh and the chicken wasn't dry. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there's been times where I've come in and had to wait 15+ minutes just for my drink. Not the place to stop if you're in a rush, otherwise everything is great.

Yelp
Really enjoy my visits during my short stay in town. Sandwiches were yummy also. I'm a coffee snob so this was heavenly and glad they were around to help me get through the adjudication of the international guitar concerto competition with the main orchestra in town.

Yelp
I found myself coming here three weeks in a row for Saturday breakfast after going to the Bidwell Market. The atmosphere is bustling ... the service ranges from friendly to indifferent. I am particularly fond of the Mike breakfast sandwich - and order it every time(with sausage). The coffee is good as well, and my previous experience with the baked goods is very positive as well. Today they were out of the seven layer bars - so I chose a frosted donut. The donut is pumpkin spice which it was not labeled as, but none the less ... delicious. I know I'll be back... will you?

Yelp
Havent been to a Spot Coffee in years. With no location very nearby and being surrounded by Tim Hortons and the occassional Crapbucks I forgot what a great place this is. Not for its food, which I remember being quite good, but for its coffee and espresso! Came into this location as a dessert spot (coffee for me is dessert) after eating next door at SATO and decided to go with the White Chocolate Espresso Shake. I got the medium size and decided to pass on the whipped cream and instead asked them to fill it up. Man let me tell you the barista behind the counter knows his stuff! That big old beard of doom he wore contains magical esspresso secrets because my drink was rockin! Just enough of that earthy espresso flavor and sweetness to slam in contrast against the white chocolate and caramel that was drizzled inside the cup prior to him pouring the blended mixture in. I drove home with a smile as I sipped on this treat and my belly, full of ramen noodles and dumplings was happy! Truly a gem of an establishment sharing a corner on Elmwood that could easily be missed... The decor and atmosphere here is also super chillin, warm and cozy. Take the time to explore our local hiding spots folks! Stop in and waste some time enjoying the finer, cheaper things in life!! I think this drink along with my dates was like $8 which in comparison to a Starbucks, say Mocca Latte ($6+) blew me away. YUM !!!

Yelp
Great Coffee experience similarly to Starbucks with less price but lacks that enthusiastic smile in greeting customers. I definitely recommend to taste for all loyal Starbucks customers.

Yelp
The general rating for SPoT Coffee is generous. Bought a typical latte from them, and not only is it overpriced at $6 for there 12oz option, it was lukewarm and had little taste of coffee. Avoid this franchise and go elsewhere.

Yelp
One of my favorite things about Buffalo is how people are so supportive of local businesses. It helps that most of the local businesses are amazing. This location is right next to a Panera but it's always packed. Spot is awesome. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. They have all the tea and coffee drinks you expect at any coffee house. I always get their soy chai latte and it's great. They also have pastries and a pretty large food menu. I've tried their soups and sandwiches and everything has been delicious. And they always have vegetarian options. Spot is a great place to study or work. I've always been able to find a table and they have outlets all along the front windows which is really useful when my laptop inevitably dies. Internet is free although you have to get a ticket from the staff. The parking lot next to the Panera is also for Spot customers!
