I love cheese & I love the Ashbrook Artisan Cheese ALOT. Sorry but I ate it all & didn’t share with my family. But I don’t feel bad because I was thinking of all the kids they helping with the proceeds of this purchase.

I had wanted to try Spring Brook Farm Cheese for a while, both because it was highly recommended and also to support their mission of giving underprivileged city kids a chance to enjoy the country and learn about how cheese is made. I am glad I did! I tried all three cheese varieties offered. Each was shipped promptly and arrived cool, even though I had ordered to Florida in the height of the summer. Even with shipping costs, the cheeses were priced no more than I would have paid in a local cheese shop. Each was delicious, distinctive, and well-made. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys a good cheese that is well made and also has a conscience.

They were very patient with my downs daughter and incredibly kind. And its free! But you.must call ahead. They also offer chickens and a chance to watch them.make cheese. Heads up. If you do cheese you have to change into crocs for shoes.

I spent a week in the summer with my students. It was a great experience. It's a program that is offered to children who live in urban areas.

Yelp
We were traveling through Vermont, at the Hildene, Lincoln Family Home, when we met a young lady cheese maker visiting. Ellie told us about the farm she works at, and helps make some wonderful cheese. Sounded interesting. We told her we would visit if we got the chance. We did. And when we arrived this remarkable young lady gave us a great tour of the cheese making facilities and the grounds where the cows were milked and the calves were cared for. The care and enthusiasm Ellie has for the place really shows. All the people there were so helpful and friendly, I would recommend a visit here any time. AND THE CHEESE IS WONDERFUL.
