"Poised on the northwest edge of a bluff overlooking the Tetons, Spring Creek could have erected shabby canvas lean-tos and charged exorbitant rates simply for the spectacular view. But the condos here are the best value in Jackson Hole: two-bedroom suites with a connecting bathroom, laundry facilities, a fireplace, and a balcony that gazes toward the Tetons. There’s no better place to be at sunset."

"The cocktails are fine, the wine list is decent, but the mountain views are why you come to this particular hotel bar. The seats face a high bank of windows that offer uninterrupted views across the National Elk Refuge in the valley below, sweeping all the way up to the glorious peaks of the Grand Tetons." - Ann Shields

Our family of 4 booked the 2 hr horseback riding. It was the best trail ride we have been on. The views of the mountains were beautiful. Saw a deer on our ride. The horses looked well cared for and healthy. Our trail guide Dom was great. He talked about the area, some jokes, and answered questions. Will definitely do again.

We got married here on Memorial Day weekend. Spring Creek Ranch put us up in an adorable townhouse 2 days prior to moving into Alta Vista Mountain Villa which was where we stayed the remainder of the trip as well as having our ceremony there. This home was stunning!!! Jack and Leo did a fantastic job with the planning and coordinating. They nailed every single detail. The food and service were outstanding. My husband and I are still in shock. I can’t thank you enough for giving us the most perfect day. We can’t wait to come back.

This review is just for the horseback riding- we did an 1hr ride with 2 kids ages 6 and 9. The horses were so gentle and there are so many of them. The views are gorgeous- you ride through hills of wildflowers and sagebrush and views of Grand Teton and the Flat Creek and Jackson! A must activity in Jackson. Just 15 min from town.

On the last day of our week-long vacation in Jackson, we ended our trip with a horseback ride at Spring Creek Ranch. What a great experience! There were four in our family (aged 69, 39, 9, and 7) for the one-hour ride. Spring Creek Ranch is well-organized and professional. Our guide, Claire, was great and informative, paying close attention to the kids, making sure they were safe and having fun. We all thoroughly enjoyed the ride, and the views were incredible. The horses were well-trained and calm, making the experience perfect. We would definitely go back to Spring Creek Ranch again.

Google
Check in for our 2 hr trip was easy & the ride was very scenic. I didn't like that if you were in the back of the line you couldn't hear anything the guide was saying. We missed all the tidbits & info he was telling along the way. But the reason I probably would not recommend them was the guide took us on a 1 hour ride & not the 2 hr ride we booked. When we got back to the stable they said oh sorry, it was a miscommunication with the guide. They gave us a discount refund but I wanted my 2 hr ride! That was the highlight of my trip I was really looking forward to!! Didn't even offer us another 1 hr ride. And the guide didn't even stop & take a picture of us riders along the way on our horses. So we don't even have that to remember our ride. (Our daughter & son-in-law did the 2 hr ride in the morning & their guide took pics). I really wanted to enjoy our experience but I was very disappointed!

Google
I booked a one hour horse back ride and it was so worth it!! As a first timer the one hour was a perfect introduction. If you're nervous like I was, don't be, the guide was super helpful and the horses were so friendly. Beautiful views and wonderful staff! A must-do if you're visiting Jackson Hole.

We went horseback riding as a family of four and had a great time. The views were spectacular and they were so nice nice to accommodate our young children. Erin was a great guide! The horses were so well trained and you can tell they are taken care of. We will be back our next visit to Wyoming!

We booked the 2 hour horseback ride and we had such a great time. We were in a large group so we had 3 guides and they were great with telling us about the area and stopping for pictures. The views were unreal and the horses were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Calling the front desk is a nightmare. Customer service representatives that barely understand and speak English. Had to ask for other people to get any information correctly. Jacob, the naturalist was fantastic. All the shuttle drivers were great. Nothing available to do the ranch during winter. Have to go to town or Teton to do anything.

Yelp
Took our money, then whiffed. A bait and switch on the first property, claiming a view that it didn't have. Promised a wonderful catered event, certainly charged enough for it. Once they got the money prepaid weeks ahead, I started getting messages that they were not going to be available for questions till after the event. While we were there, both the main contact, Samantha, and the main Catering Contact were unreachable. Front desk was good, helped us switch one of the three properties we rented. Catered dinner was good but the beer and wine selection terrible. After the event, when we wanted a partial refund, at least to match the lower-cost property they switched us to, we got emails saying they'd be LESS available. (How can you be to be less than not responsive at all?) Still waiting weeks later for an email back.

Yelp
This review is for the horse ride only. We did the one hour ride and were treated with some amazing views. It was perfect for us as inexperienced riders as we took a very slow single file pace. By the end we were feeling a little sore and cold so it was a perfect length for us.

Yelp
Do not book horseback here I hoped for the best but should have trusted my gut and the reviews. Absolutely terrible customer service it's one of those places where you feel like the wranglers treat you like you're a dumb dumb. I scheduled a private ride three weeks in advance of my trip to Jackson hole. A private ride for three people was over $1000. This was for two hour experience. I mentioned that my sister and I were avid riders and knew what we were doing, and that my brother was somewhat of a beginner. None of this was taken into account. We were asked to be ready to go promptly 25 minutes before our scheduled ride. This was stated in a number of email communications, including payment requirements, confirmations and waivers. We arrived to the beautiful ranch at 12 o'clock for our 12:30 ride. We checked in the fee was processed. I was told gratuities were included, and that was it. There was no mention of anything else there were helmets on the wall, but no one asked if I wanted one. We left the office, went outside and there were about 24 people waiting. A Wrangler shouted across the pasture, asking if we were here for a private ride and I said yes, she said wait underneath the tree. As it approached 1230 they were still putting groups together on Horses one by one. There was no communication around this. I just watched the process and assumed that's what was going on. They asked another private ride of four people to step forward, and after that another group ride which took painfully long as they got each person onto their horse. During this entire process, not a single person came over to us and explained anything that was happening. At this point, I cannot get my money back and we had already scheduled our day around this so I just stayed quiet and sucked it up. We did not get on our horse until 1:15 PM did not begin our ride until 1:30... 90 minutes later. I basically had to cancel our afternoon plans. The wrangler who took us out was very sweet, but that's about it. My horse had a very uncomfortable gait going down the mountain, and I mentioned it to our guide. She told me that the horse was an Amish cart horse and actually validated my response that he was uncomfortable to ride . I'm thinking to myself why on earth would they put someone on this kind of a horse for a two hour ride! As I shared, I am an avid rider and this was painfully uncomfortable. My brother who is a beginner was on a horse that liked to go into the trees. That was a whole other situation that was unsafe and could have been avoided. I received an email asking for feedback. I gave them my honest feedback and suggested that they let people know in advance if they're going to have an influx of Group rides I know I could've certainly shown up early or even later. I expressed my disappointment, especially given the fact that there was so much communication prior to the experience. I did not expect to wait 90 minutes. The response was something like they need to take their group rides out first to space things apart, basically invalidating everything I shared. The ride itself was absolutely beautiful breathtaking with regard to the mountains and the views . That's what you're paying for and if you're good with that, and don't mind feeling like a number and waiting around then go for it! I would highly suggest taking a drive a little bit further maybe another 15 minutes outside of Jackson towards Teton Village and go to the snake River Ranch! We had a wonderful experience there. It's not in the mountains but equally as gorgeous and the wranglers (guides)are so lovely, personable and interested!

Yelp
Spectacular scenery from our balcony. I think we may have lucked out when we stayed as we got a newer remodeled condo unit which had up to date rustic / modern deco. It was perfect for 2 kids, grandparents (Murphy Bed) and a couple. We woke up to an unbelievable Teton view each day but had convenient kitchen/stove and laundry unit plus great modern bathrooms. The horse ride at the ranch was also awesome which took you around the hills of Spring Ranch and allowed you to see 360 degree view of the surrounding valley and Jackson area... not to mention large Olympic size pool and spa.

Yelp
We attended a business convention dinner for and while the food was good, they didn't have adequate help nor enough food. I don't know if that was entirely their fault or whoever planned for them to help our dinner. I sure felt sorry for the two working for the 160 guests eating.

Yelp
The room smells odd and the rug in the bathroom was filthy. The decorative pillows on the bed were dirty and the curtain in the the bathroom had mold on it. They don't offer house keeping so don't expect your trash to be removed. I was told to call them and they'd come over. There were no coffee cups in the room but there was a coffee pot. Had to go to front desk and ask for cups. The views are amazing but expect to be isolated without any amenities!!!

Yelp
I only went here to go horseback riding so I cannot speak for staying at the resort. It does take a while for them to get everyone set up on a horse, we had 8 people on our ride plus the guide (it was two separate groups). Since we started our ride at 4:45pm (vs 4:30pm), our ride was not cut short. There's a loop they take you on and we completed that loop. The views are just beautiful and unbelievable. This was a highlight of our trip. I rode with a friend and her two daughters, ages 7 and 10. The youngest was a little scared but ended up loving horseback riding. Our guide was great, she knew all the horses well and had control of our group. Also, you can tell the horses are taken care of and are very happy. None of them looked sick or injured. Also, if you bring an apple, they'll let you feed your horse or another horse that likes apples (I guess horses can be finicky eaters!!!).

Yelp
DONT STAY HERE SPECIALLY WITH COV19 , THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING This place has been a nightmare to our family. This is our story : Our nightmare started at check in. We arrived at check in around 12:30am. A key was given to us with a map to our room. Once we arrived at the door the key didn't work and after 15 minutes of battling with the key we decided to call front desk. Front desk sends over a handyman who took another 15 minutes to open the door. Once the door open we come across a dirty room. We take our luggage back to the car and head back to the front desk. We complaint to the lady in the front and she tells us that it's hard to accommodate last minute bookers( we weren't last minute bookers ). She didn't apologize , but instead blamed housekeeping. We ended up getting a new room. This new room shower clogs every time we shower and you can see hair coming out. I didn't bother to call anymore due to it's unprofessionalism. It took us almost an hour to check in. Motel 6 has a better system than this place !!! Stay away from room 3188 that shower is a pond. DONT STAY HERE SPECIALLY WITH COV19 ,THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING !!!!

Yelp
As others mentioned, our room had epic views (make sure you request a room that is facing the valley and Tetons). The Granary restaurant was excellent, the walk to it beautiful, and it was nice to have horse riding right there. The downsides we felt: very overpriced for the room quality, sink was clogging and overnight seemed to fill with soot fr the folks in the room above, it is very *loud* with your neighbors. There is no privacy if you want to sit on the balcony and the neighbors are out and if you are on a bottom unit you hear all of the walking and creaking of the upper unit. Pillows were pretty thick and there was no bottled water available. All that being said .. when our neighbors were not around we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our balcony and taking the view in!

Yelp
Good things: spectacular view from our room. 24 hour hot tub. 24 hour pool. Never ran out of hot water and I like baths. Comfortable bathtub. Horseback riding was a great deal with $60 per person for one hour. That part was really fun with a nice view different from what we had in our room. A real wood-burning fireplace with free, unlimited wood was fun. The Internet was decent. Bad things: The 24 hour hot tub got shut down. So many things were closed due to Covid including the spa. The staff was often confused and rude and gave us incorrect information. We got a room for four, but there were only two robes, two chairs on the deck, and two free breakfasts. The toilet took forever to flush. The fridge was tiny, smaller than the average kitchenette fridge. The fridge also froze half of our Food. No microwave. No air conditioning which made sleeping uncomfortable even on the cool nights. The television was tiny and difficult to see from two queen beds. The cows in the valley were really loud one night but we couldn't close the window because there wasn't any AC. No kindling was provided for the fireplace. I wouldn't go back for that price. You don't have to be a guest in order to book horseback riding at the stables there.

Josh D.

Yelp
Went to the SPRING CREEK RANCH to use their hot tub because me and my friends rented a condo through OUTPOST which allowed us to use there facilities. We left our clothes near the indoor hot tub room, to shortly find them missing. We consulted the manager and staff who made a minimal effort that consisted of a cursory look around the building and lost-and-found. The manager said there were no cameras on premise and that "this never happens around here." Dissatisfied and frustrated with the staffs lack of effort, I took it upon myself to look around the building...only to find all of our missing items under an employees desk in a dark room! Instead of a heartfelt apology from the manager and staff, I was told that I was banned from the premises! BEWARE of this place friends.

Yelp
Really bizarre experience with the horses. Would not let us take pictures on them. The trail ride had to be in a straight line at all times or else we were chastised. The young girl leading our ride was quite short with us even tho we were experienced riders and required no help or hassle to her. No pictures over the beautiful vistas/ no pictures before... weird weird experience. Def felt like they just wanted to get us on and off the trail as quickly as possible. Horses seemed to be treated well. Would not go again or suggest a friend to go at all

Kenzie R.

Yelp
Stayed at Spring Creek Ranch for our honeymoon and found that it has beautiful views and some nice features (the pool is awesome, and tennis courts!), but some of what is advertised is a bit misleading. For example, when they scheduled our massage on the incorrect day, they didn't offer other options because they contract out for their spa. There is no central AC which makes the rooms pretty hot during the day in Wyoming, and when they ran out of breakfast food (which we paid for every day but only got once) they gave us a sack with cereal and orange juice. There is also no turn down service unless you want to pay $50/hour. Overall, it was nice to be in such a beautiful location but probably wouldn't return as the price doesn't seem to match the amenities and service.

Sierra D.

Yelp
Meh. We stayed in a condo unaffiliated to SCR in the area -- we had access to the amenities and chose to do a horse ride at the stables. Amenities: the pool, hot tub, tennis courts, and grounds were very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed evenings at the pool and hot tub. Surprisingly there was wildlife! We saw moose and fox several nights. Stables: The staff at the stables were really rude. When assigning each rider to a horse, the wranglers called us by our clothing descriptions (ex. You in the grey shirt, over here!) I am not an experienced rider, but my boyfriend is. I would've appreciated some light small talk to get acquainted and maybe even a "hey how are you?" - The ride was was fine. 8 miles of silence moving really slow down the trail. It was what we expected. But our guide barely spoke to us and stayed ahead of the group most of the way. - After the ride I was approached by the receptionist and she said our card was declined. I gave her another card, and the same one to try again and it still didn't work. Meanwhile we bought a picture from an unaffiliated photographer with the same credit card...anyway it took hours and a visit with Cindy, the manager, (who was very helpful and friendly) to get it straightened out. Turns out both our credit cards were fine. The whole ordeal was exhausting. - Every night we'd drive down to the corrals to pet the horses. Staff had seen us and said hello almost every night. On our last night, a less than pleasant woman named Brittany told us we were spooking "her" horses and we had to leave. It seemed as if we were drawing horses away from her overpriced Chuckwagon BBQ and she didn't want her guests upset. This place just needs some new staff. We'd come back -- but we'd hope for a more personal experience next time.

Yelp
Stunning property, stunning views but units are in need up significant upgrades for the money! We had to sleep with our windows open in a snow storm because the smoke from the fireplace filled the room and wouldn't go up the flue unless we cracked the window. .A maintenance person came to help but couldn't do anything about it.? We loved the rustic feel, but torn drapes, old coffee maker, poor lighting and poor linen affected the experience a bit! The linen came loose where I found myself sleeping on an exposed old mattress. Grossed me out! I think they should improve the reception area too! Doesn't give a very warm first impression. The views are unbelievable and location special! If they spent a little money to make even minor upgrades it would make all the difference in the world! I would like to go back if they make some improvements! Even with the negatives, we still liked it!

Nik I.

Yelp
Horseback riding was awesome! Great nice and amazing people. Nick was spectacular! Great conversation and guide.

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Horseback riding in the Tetons! Great for families! The whole experience was great. Easy check in. Wonderful staff. Beautiful views. Emily was our guide. She was experienced, engaging and fun to be with. The horses seemed happy and very well cared for. Thank you for a great adventure!

Klint P.

Yelp
This place had an amazing view, absolutely astonishing. The service was below par, the rooms carpet had a lot of stains, and the curtains barely worked. Also the bed felt like you were sleeping on a bag of rocks.

Gary B.

Yelp
Great views from the property. Our room was not completely clean on arrival - fold down bed had dirty bedsheets and was inoperative. Had to be repaired. TVs cable service was off - not a big deal as that was only a annoyance. Bathroom shower curtain was dirty and moldy. Bathroom in general is in bad shape. No A/C was a problem as highs were at 90 this week and air flow through the unit was minimal. Overall the property was pretty basic and lacked any kitchen amenities but for a small refrigerator and small microwave.

Alia G.

Yelp
I loved waking up to the beautiful Grand Teton National Park right outside the sliding door. I loved sitting on our little deck/patio in the morning and evenings, embracing the beauty of the property and surrounding area. I loved that it was so peaceful and serene. I loved how I felt while I was there.... relaxed like I didn't have a care in the world. ...and I loved that they had big chocolate chip cookies at check-in! The property is not small, but it is not big either. What's great is that there are room options AND you don't feel like you're on top of one another... from a basic room to suites to 4-bedroom townhomes to villas. My husband booked it and we got the very last room they had available since it was the Memorial Day Weekend. With that said, it didn't feel crowded or even booked 100%. The grounds were always quiet and there was always parking at our unit. Our room was very comfortable. While you could tell it was an older property, the floor squeaked and it could use a fresh coat of paint and carpet, it was clean and comfortable. Our bathroom even had 2 sinks. The patio was probably my favorite part. Just open up and there are the mountains! The WiFi in our room worked GREAT! (It was part of the room which was nice NOT to have to pay an extra fee to use it like some places.) So... in case you need to stay connected... you can. All the folks we spoke with were Fabulous! Very helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze as was check-out. In the lobby, they have coffee, tea and cocoa available all day. They had a nice selection of teas too! While we didn't sign up for any of their nature/safari programs, I would guess they are Top Notch based on the experience we had just staying there. I did book a horseback riding tour. (The stables are close to the lobby building... and only like a 6 minute walk from our room. They have something like 60 horses they rotate and use for their tours.) I did the 2-hour tour, and the pricing is very reasonable. I would have gone every day if I could. (There were only 5 of us plus our guide, and this was on a Saturday!) Since I haven't been on a horse in probably 20+ years, I was sore. But the wranglers chose a wonderful mount for me, Clyde. He had a nice gait and was docile... and he didn't try to eat every 5 feet like Squirrel did. Our guide, Matt was a great guy. Since I was right behind him, I got to talk to him a bit and learned about the horses and the breeding program, how they raise them and how they care for them. These horses are very well taken care of and you can tell. Their eyes aren't dull and their hides aren't scarred like other tourists places I've seen. The next time we come to Jackson, we are totally staying here again.

L H.

Yelp
Great service and friendly. guides. Nice 2 hour ride through the mountains. Stunning views. Well worth it.

Kathy P.

Yelp
An awful experience. The room was two hours late getting ready, even though we had reservations . When we get in the room there's no soap or shampoo,So we had to head down the hill to get the shampoo and the soap

Meghan V.

Yelp
Knocked horseback riding in the West off my bucket list this morning and got my fiancé on a horse for the very first time! We both enjoyed our 2-hour ride immensely. Our guide was wonderful and a joy to spend time with -- shoutout to our guide from Idaho who I bonded with over us both having aging horses of our own (I am so sorry I never caught your name!). Piper and Cletus (our horses) were great and well-maintained, as were the others in our group. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING! Would ride with SCR again!

Ariel B.

Yelp
With beautiful scenery all around you, Spring Creek Ranch is a wonderful place to relax and have a meal. The food is great, and I would recommend eating at The Granary. At dinner time, there is a lovely jazz group that plays, setting the perfect ambience in the room. Combined with the breathtaking view of the mountains, Spring Creek Ranch is a must-stay resort.

Enrique F.

Yelp
We rented out a Harvest Dance Studio with the breakfast package for four days and three nights in mid-August 2015. Overall: A great resort with amazing views of the Tetons. I highly recommend. Room: Spacious, comfortable, open layout, and well decorated. It had the popular modernly rustic feel to it. A large and comfortable L-shaped couch. I would say the couch is more comfortable than the bed though. The mattress on the bed was thin, dated, and void of any support. The kitchen is well-stocked with every kitchen item you might need, including foil wrap. There was a full fridge, oven, micowave, dishwasher, sink, and kitchenware. There were complications with the HBO signal the entire stay. But the view from the room was unbeatable. Gym: Rather small. There are two treadmills, two stationary bikes, free weights, and some weight machines. Pool / Hot Tub: The outdoor hot tub has an awesome vista of the Tetons. It's large, but the jets are rather weak. The pool is quite a ways away from the hot tub. The pool is a heated with four lanes. Staff: Attentive, helpful, and personable. I tore the labrum in my shoulder kayaking during my trip and staff delivered fresh bags of ice to room (stay away from the Snake River!).

Robert H.

Yelp
A really sharp-elbowed bunch here. In full disclosure, I'm in a billing dispute with these folks as we decided not to check into the hotel (with several days notice!!) because nearby fires had caused the entire area to be blanketed in smoke and haze -- you could literally smell the wood burning from the forest fires. The hotel said we didn't give them enough notice. I would have course have given more notice, if the fire had given us some notice as well. Regardless I've never dealt with a hotel that simply couldn't care less what you thought and was this high-handed with a customer Frankly, I'm suspicious that a lot of folks left town and the shadier operations (like Spring Creek Ranch?) were desperate to hold on to whatever money they could in a failing season. Will I go back to Jackson Hole? You bet! Would I ever stay here? No way. There are lots of great hotels in the area, do yourself a favor and pick one that doesn't treat its customers the way a dairyman treats a cow.

Bridget C.

Yelp
Was hesitant to come because of some of the past reviews but the place turned out to be very nice and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very accommodating to us and helped us with all of our needs. It was clean and had great views

Carolyn O.

Yelp
Horseback Riding experience was OUTSTANDING!! Incredibly nice wranglers who matched us perfectly to a wide variety of beautiful horses! VERY good on safety, super friendly, happy & in-between getting us situated, you'd see them genuinely loving the horses. They took the time to tell us about each horses personality. Jillian, our guide, was the perfect mix of fun, energy, relaxed & checking on us along the way, but not "overdoing it" (if that makes sense). She allowed the ride to be peaceful & we felt free to soak in every minute. Views were atop & alongside a high hill - so could see snake river, downtown Jackson, Tetons, and BREATHTAKING views from the top; travelled thru trees & meadows. UNBELIEVABLE experience we will never forget!

Jacob S.

Yelp
Beautiful views, incredible service, and great room service. The shuttle to the mountain is basically a private taxi and extremely convenient. Lots of on site activities to explore, like snowshoeing (which they have for free). We were very happy with our stay.

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Spring Creek Ranch - absurdly over priced glorified motel. Cleaning only came when we called, heat barely worked, slept on couch one night to avoid the bed, which can fold up into the walls, and the staff is very unfriendly. I love Jackson Hole and I was so excited so a beautiful view and in room fireplace. But... save your money.

Jesreen R.

Yelp
My husband and I had the pleasure to have Megan as our wrangler for the entire ride and we had the best time of our lives even though we showed up late to our 2hr ride. She was very accommodating and insightful. She gave us such an amazing experience that it felt like we've known her for so long. We absolutely loved her stories and being able to get to know each horse. Definitely recommend this place and most importantly Megan!

Eric O.

Yelp
We have had a number of "Stay-Cations" over at the Spring Creek Ranch for weekend get-away's We enjoy the off season shoulder season there. The high ground that Spring Creek properties sets on offers the most spectacular views of the Valley and the Teton Range. The Granery and the Bar are nice and within walking or stumbling distance at of your home, condo or townhouse. My only critique is the Condos are a bit dated and not very soundproof...(1980'ish) however you are probably not too concerned about that if you know how to have fun.

Christina A.

Yelp
Special shout out to Keith (a true professional), Hunter, Mark and Mike for their hospitality. A little off the path, but beautiful grounds! Our condo, 3146 was cozy & clean. Pro tip: have dinner one night at Amangani next door, it won't disappoint! -Nicole & Christina

Amy K.

Yelp
This review is largely due to the excellent customer service that was provided to us by Chris, the guest services manager. Let me explain. My husband and I spent some of our honeymoon here 8 years ago and decided to bring our three kids and au pair back to visit. We drove and arrived early so called the hotel to ask for early checkin. They said it wasn't possible but our room would definitely be ready by 4pm. At 4pm we went to check in and were told the room wasn't ready and that it might be awhile. I became a bit exasperated since we really wanted to swim and unpack. Then swoops in Chris, who apologized and offered to buy us dinner that night at The Granary (on site). Now, I'm not sure Chris knew that there were six of us or that dinner would cost as much as our single nights' hotel reservation but he came through and allowed us to bypass pizza in favor of incredible Teton views over mojitos and fillet mignon. I know this is a long review but you really don't get customer service like that anywhere these days. Of course, the hotel property is lovely, the beds comfy, the stuffed bear blankets great fun when placed on your head by seven-year-olds, and the location pretty absurd. But, none of it compares to a service team that actually cares about their guests' experiences. Oh, and we ended up getting our hotel room at 420pm. Thanks, Chris!

Yelp
The view from our room was great and it helped me overlook the rather outdated and worn room. The concierge was lovely and very helpful BUT... the housekeeping? Extremely disappointing!! The management? Big letdown. 1) We were horrified to find our room door left wide open after returning from a day of hiking. There's no in-room safes, anyone could waltz in. Not a cozy feeling. 2) We found a used, partially empty plastic jam container wrapped inside one of the "clean" bath towels hanging in the bathroom, Disgusting! 3) The glasses in our room had lip stains on them, Gross! Who knows what they were cleaned with, definitely not the dishwasher. Hello Hepatitis C. 4) The blinds in the bathroom were broken, people walking by could look right in. This review could have been avoided with the proper follow up from the hotel management. The Director of Guest Services, Janice Murphy took my contact info and assured us she'd get back to me, make up for it, saying she took this kind of thing VERY seriously. This was more than two months ago, I've reached out to Janice twice now. NOT A PEEP from her! Stay away from this place, it's not worth the $400 or so a night.

Yelp
Overall: Large multi-bed condos with amazing mountain views. Condo: 4 stars. We stayed in a 3 bed 4 bath condo, which was very roomy. The kitchen was upscale but the cooking area was very small (only for 1 person at a time). The view of the mountains was amazing. Price: 4 stars. About $300 per night. Lodge Amenities: 4 stars. Fitness room, outdoor and indoor pool and hot tub, volleyball net.

Yelp
It's with a conflicted heart that I write this review. I really wanted to give this place a 5-star review, but I just can't in good conscience do so. It has the potential to be a top-notch place, but there are some needed adjustments that must take place before that can happen. The amenities themselves are stellar. There's a wide variety of lodging options to choose from depending on your needs. They range from single-bedroom apartment-style suites without a kitchen, to 3- to 4-bedroom condo with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. There's also the option of a more traditional hotel-type room if that's your preference. All rooms have incredible views of the Teton Mountains and Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Park are easily accessible from the ranch. However, unfortunately, the service is somewhat lacking. The staff was all friendly, but to be honest, pretty aloof. We had a group of about 40 of us there for a big family reunion. When we arrived our itinerary was completely wrong. When we asked where to pick up our wet suits for the raft trip booked through their activity packages (along with several other questions about their property) we were told "I don't know" without much effort to figure out the answer. Minor housekeeping things could be up to speed, such as a broken hot tub and broken and outdated gym equipment in the workout facility. Overall, I'd recommend this place, but with caution. It could be a really great option with a few minor tweaks.

Yelp
At first glance, this place seemed very nice, and after a 1,500 mile journey we were ready for a nice place to rest and relax. We ordered dinner in on the first night. It was ok, but not worth almost $100. Breakfast was free each day, but their was 20% service charge and gratuities were not included. So it really wasn't free. Our TV didn't work from the get go. The nice maintenance guy tried to fix it the first night but with no success. They finally replaced the tv with a smaller(but working) tv on the second day. The TB was covered in dust so I'm assuming it came from storage somewhere. This brings me to the "icing on the cake". Our last night here and we see a BIG mouse run across my husband's feet! We called the front office. They apologized and offered maintenance. Really??? What about comping that 20% service fee? I mean, we never even got our garbage or towels picked up. As we speak, my husband is roaming around the cabin trying to find the mouse holes. I have a picture of the one our little friend ran into. as proof. I wish I could post pictures on here. This place wasn't worth half the price we paid. To end on a decent note, the views weren't bad.

Yelp
The best thing about Spring Creek Ranch is the view. The breakfast, which is included,is very good as well. I found the front desk staff to be very indifferent. The room had a lovely view but was so very outdated. You have a coffee maker but no microwave. Pack light because you may have to walk very far to get to your room and there is no one to help. This is not a 4 star establishment by any means. I would not stay again.

Yelp
Spring Creek Ranch. Nice rooms, beautiful views, no air conditioning (warm during the day). Front office/check in staff not friendly. Never asked how was your stay. Charged a $21.60 resort fee and most things closed. Chainsaws started at 8:15 until a little after 4:00. Right next to my room. For almost $400/night shouldn't be woken up by chainsaws

Yelp
It's a bit dated. Ok, a lot dated. On the upside, if you have ever wanted to return to the late 1970's/ early 1980's, this is for you. The heating apparatus in the rooms left something to be desired, as the dial didn't have a number on it, and I thought we'd suffocate before we figured it all out. The VIEW, however, was friggin phenomenal! And they had working wifi in the room. The sound barriers left something to be desired as well--the upstairs patron was a heavy stepper, and I was brought back to the long ago days of apartment dwelling. Not a great memory. It's rustic, but a decent amount of space. Time for an update, methinks.

Yelp
We visited Jackson Hole with the family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3.5 and 2) and it was our first visit. I did a lot of research before hand and settled on SCR. We chose a 3BR Spirit Dance town home which was an abundance of room and finishes that beat expectations. The accommodations were great. Not 5 Star, but just fine for the purpose. Views are as stunning as everyone raves about. The kids loved the horse stables and the staff at the stables could not have been nicer. They allowed the kids to get close to the horses, pet them, etc. We visited multiple times during our stay. The pool is very nice, and open 24 hours. It gets cool at night so go during daylight hours! The grounds were beautiful. You drive up the mountain about 5-7 minutes on a winding road before arriving at SCR. Beautiful drive. The restaurant on site is excellent. Great options and great staff, but if you have kids - go early. The location in Jackson hole is ideal for a quiet not far away spot. It was a quick drive to downtown Jackson and a 20 minute drive to Grant Teton National Park. Only advisement: do not expect a 5 star resort experience. Accommodations are great, but could use updating. The service is great, but not exceptional. I would definitely recommend this location and if you can afford it, I would recommend a Spirit Dance 3BR town home. Views can't be beat, accommodations are great for families, and it's a secluded quiet place on top of a mountain with easy access to everything Jackson Hole has to offer.

Yelp
Stayed here a while ago and was shocked by lack of cleanliness. Emailed management a month ago and have not received a response. Upon entering the bathroom, I noticed there was both dried blood and urine present on the toilet seat (see images) as well as the tiles beneath being loose and broken. It appeared as though the bathroom had not been cleaned before our stay. I attempted to contact the front desk only to realise the phone in the room was not functioning, so we just ended up cleaning it ourselves. The lack of cleanliness extended to the bed sheets, which were covered in lint and other debris. The mattress beneath them was uncomfortable and dirty. Though the room was tended to during our stay, the quality of cleaning was disappointing. The first day our beds were folded, but the bathroom had still not been properly cleaned. The second day of our stay, the only noticeable trace of cleaning was that the trash bags were missing and some food we had left in a fairly obscured container on the balcony (to keep cold) was missing. There were still coffee stains on the counter from the leaky coffee machine, and surfaces had not been wiped. In terms of amenities, a toothbrush costed $4, dinner was overpriced, the sauna did not work. Hot tub was low on chemicals and smelled awful, though it was nice to have so many different hot tubs across the resort. The free shuttle service was convenient overall, though disorganised. We were nearly refused shuttle service one afternoon when they came to pick us up from the Jackson resort, as we had not been placed on 'the list.' The main positive aspect of our stay was the warm and friendly customer service. The staff here were very accommodating and seemed to care about the guests.

Yelp
My husband and I visited the resort for massages and a winter sleigh ride on the suggestion of our hotel. The place is outdated and really spread out, plus it was a $30 taxi ride from downtown Jackson because WYOMING DOESN'T HAVE UBER! Massage - This "spa" is anything but inviting and relaxing. It's in a basement beneath the onsite fitness center. The changing rooms are just a glorified gym locker room with concrete floors. The steam room was "out of order" and the "waiting area" was a chair by the basement stairs. My masseuse had freezing cold and rough hands. I do not like hard massages (I would say I usually prefer light to medium pressure), but I had to ask 4 times for her to rub harder because it basically felt like she was just rubbing lotion on my skin. To end the massage, she squeezed oil into her hands and immediately proceeded to give me a scalp massage; oil and all. When my husband saw me again he asked what the heck happened to my hair because it looked so oily and gross. Sleigh ride - We visited during a record-setting snow storm - bad timing on our part, but it had been scheduled weeks in advance. When we visited, we were told that our driver was out "testing to make sure the avalanche risk is low enough" for the horses. Instead of waiting to hear the verdict, we politely insisted that we be able to cancel and receive our money back. We decided to end the day early and go to happy hour at their popular onsite restaurant, the Granary, but it doesn't open until 5:00pm. I won't be back. Next time, we'll try a sleigh ride at the elk refuge since we heard such great things about it.

Yelp
We had a nice time we were told the hot tub was the to the left of our room when we went out there it had no water and was fill of dirt and leaves. The staff at the counter was friendly told us the Restraunt would be open for breakfast it wasn't apparently it's closed till next season so we had to drive back into town . You can not check in until 4 pm the room was cozy loved the fire place there was plenty of wood stacked up for use on the porch

Yelp
Horribly managed hotel. This property has an amazing view but it is ruined by the lack of maintenance to the buildings. The service was horrendous with no front desk agent to check us in. Finally a concierge agent helped us out but had no idea what she was doing. When we finally got the keys and headed to the room only to be shocked when we open up the door. The room was infested with multiple wasps and other bugs. After three tries we got ahold of the front desk only to be told that is common when it is cold outside. I work in the hotel industry and it is a shame to charge $300plus a night and have a bug infestation. The next day as we checked out, I brought my concerns to managment only to be told they will look into it. No refund or even an apology. This company is known around town for not paying their bills and now I see why. The hotel has been mismanaged to disrepair.

Yelp
This place is a dump with a capital D. The view is great of the Tetons but that's about it. The room is dirty and old. There is a hole in the wall in our bathroom and mold in the shower. Maybe some of the units have been updated but the one we are staying in terrible. The mattress is lumpy and the sheets are scratchy. We are paying $450 a night. For that amount of money I at least expect a clean room with a comfortable bed. I would leave but you have to prepay. Be cautious about staying here.

Yelp
Beautiful resort, great views of the Tetons, the staff has been amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on vacation!!
