This place is a true gem! The nature center and the grounds. Great place for families or field trips. The nature center building is a destination year-round with the displays and big viewing windows to see turkeys and other animals. The trails are well marked and great for a nice walk.
The nature playground they added in 2018 is very well done and it’s a great, creative play space. I love that they don’t allow dogs at the center or on the trails.

I’ve been here many times over the years. We love the walking trails and getting out in nature. They host unique birthday parties year round. We did wedding photos here and family photos. The inside part has animals and play areas for kids. The outdoor play area is great. So much to do.

Springbrook Park is a beautiful park with easy trails for all adventurer's! The floating docks is a gorgeous walk way with lots of turtles, ducks and a family of swans. So if you are looking to get lost into nature with easy walk ways, I would highly recommend giving this park a try!

Update: I went the other way this time and found serenity in all the green and listening to the leaves rustle. Happiness is this beautiful walk. Not difficult.
This perfect little gem in the city surprised me, reminding me of Heron Nature Center in Nebraska and Fountain Creek Nature Center in Colorado. Loved it and will be going back.

What an amazing place! Take your kiddos and go there for a free fun kid oriented time.
Be sure and leave a donation, check out the nature center that has fun, educational hands on exhibits and the play are is a dream come true for kids.

Just stopped by real quick in the morning but I want to pack a lunch and come back. Im a huge fan of the natural elements in the playground. Might be a little much for some smaller children but there are lots to explore and some fantastic shaded walking paths and wetland spaces.
Absolutely worth the stop, highly recommend.

My son and I loved our visit and can't wait to come back. We only did the visitor center but stayed until they closed. My two year old would've stayed longer even. Great free place to bring kids!
