"Utah welcomed its first fine arts museum in 1903 — seven short years after it achieved statehood — when two local artists donated works to Springville High School, a Spanish colonial revival structure in a small town that's since been nicknamed Art City. Born to Mormon parents, Cyrus E. Dallin sculpted portraits of Native Americans as well as the famous gold-plated Angel Moroni atop the Salt Lake Temple, while Swiss-born Impressionist painter John Hafen was enamored with the rural Utah landscape. The Springville Museum of Art nearly doubled in size in 2004, and in 2009, it grew even more with the addition of an outdoor sculpture garden. Though Utah-based art still makes up about 80% of the 2,500-piece collection, you'll also encounter American realist and Soviet realist works." - Travel + Leisure Editors

I absolutely adore this museum. The artwork is stunning, staff is so friendly, and it's just a great place to explore. It's a great venue for weddings or events as well. If you're in need of a photographer, let's chat! I am obsessed with this bridal session we planned here.

This is the most aesthetically pleasing art museum I’ve ever been in! The way the art is displayed and presented and even the building itself add to the experience. Additionally it has a wide range of pieces in various styles and themes with some that are very impressive!

BEST RECEPTION CENTER - My daughter was married in August, and it was the best experience! Gina was a delight to work with planning the reception, and the day of, the girls that were assigned to help us were so professional and helpful! We had a slight rainstorm blow through as we were setting up, but it was supposed to pass before the reception started and we had to make some quick decisions. Megan and Janet jumped in to offer solutions and bent over backwards to assist and make sure everything went as smoothly as possible! I can't imagine a better team! Also, they let our caterer take over the kitchen and it was so well-equipped that it made her job so much easier! I am so thankful to everyone at the museum that helped us put this beautiful day together and I would definitely recommend them for any special event!!

The Springville Art Museum is Utah’s strongest advocate for keeping a thriving artistic culture blossoming. Not only do they have an impressive collection of art and regularly curate wonderful exhibits, but they do the most work to support the local, living art community by inviting submissions for several annual shows all the way from high school artists up to long time professionals. They also host artist events, teach in schools, advocate for art funding, host art fairs and create innovate events to bring art to all ages, income levels and demographics. The impact of good this museum and its staff brings to the art community in Utah (and beyond) is so hard to even measure. But we are lucky to have them and better for it.

The museum itself is so pretty and there's so much to see. We also had our wedding reception here and the price was very fair, especially for everything they provide. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and competent, and they helped the whole event run smoothly. 100% would recommend

I adore this museum. The architecture and history of the building alone is enough to keep me coming. Entrance is FREE, so make sure you drop a couple dollars in the donation box! Make sure you go upstairs! There is SO much to see. The exhibits are always beautiful, complex, and intentional.

I photographed a wedding here and I AM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with Springville Museum of Art and their outdoor venue space. I love that the couple can choose where inside or outside they want to hold the ceremony and any room inside is beautiful. At Jessica and Jay's wedding they opted to have a standing ceremony in one of the gallery rooms instead of seats and there they shared their vows. Then we went outside for dinner, dancing, desert and their send off. It was such a beautiful space and I was so impressed with all of the great photo spots, the staff and how perfect everything felt! Beautiful spot especially if you are an art lover or are going for a European feel the outdoor space will give you that! - Hayley Jade Photography

Fantastic! I loved seeing the high schooler's painting and artwork. There was one from my favorite book series, Wings of Fire, and it was a highlight of my day.
