Sprüngli

A lindt company taking on the same style and concept of laaderach. Chocolate is sold by weight, with varying different flavours available. Sprüngli however has something slightly different, they have cakes and what they call 'Luxemburgerli'. Looks like a macaron, tastes like a macaron but it's not a macaron (apparently). We're told these have a cream filling rather than the traditional macaron which has a jam-like filling. Anyway, everything tastes nice and very rich (in both senses of the word!). I preferred laaderach as they had salted caramel chocolate (Sprüngli didn't). They allow you to have free samples so make sure you try lots before you buy to even out the cost!!

An essential stop before departure. Very friendly staff and excellent quality. Love the hot chocolate mix and the macarons are so fresh.

Went on a Sunday (30 Jun) evening, near closing time. However, the sales lady served us with great patience though we took some time to choose the chocolates we wanted, being first timers. She explained the names of the chocolates to us and made recommendations by asking what we like. The chocolates are nice, e.g. the white chocolate strawberry one. Left being thoroughly impressed with the service and kudos to the sales lady for making it a great experience!

On 18.12 at 10:30 , the ms. 'chef' refused to accept our order and sent an employee with a business card to inform us that we had to place our order online. This behavior is unacceptable and not client-friendly at all. Sprüngli desires to be 'eloquent', but this is simply belittling behavior that is unacceptable. Even if it's not important, we're sadly not entering the store anymore.

Got a dessert and some chocolates which were divine only because the salesperson was very helpful, and cooperative and welcoming. The packaging was done excellent lot of both things that I was able to carry them back to Uk without them being spoilt.

It really depends who's behind that counter when spending a small fortune on sweets - is worth it? today i regret my choice.

Goood hot chocolate 🍫 and many tasty chocolate ✨🇨🇭 staffs are kind and welcome

The most mind blowingly good chocolates one can eat. Plus pastries. This particular Sprungli store is heaven. And exquisite customer service. I’ll never forget the few hours I spent in this store. The chocolate cake is to die for.
