I love this park. Every visit makes me wish that I lived in the neighborhood, or more specifically, in a sun-soaked apartment with a giant wraparound terrace in one of the many gorgeous Hausmanien buildings that surround the park.
It's not a vast park with lots of space to sprawl out by a compact neighborhood play park for kids and grownups. On any given day you'll find couples romanticizing on the benches, teens playing ping pong, and loads of kids running around on the jungle gym structures that are all in great shape.
But my favorite detail to the park is the giant gazebo, with its pale-green metal, turn of the century architecture that acts as a central stage for frequent music performances that the Mairie organizes.
A true neighborhood gem, one that makes Paris the special city that it is for its great, quality of life.
