Square One Mall is one of the best shopping spots in Mississauga! The mall is huge, clean, and has everything — from top brands to cozy cafés. I especially loved Food Central and the Food District; both offer so many delicious options and have a lively, welcoming vibe. The location is super convenient with excellent transport connectivity — right next to MiWay, GO Bus, and Hurontario LRT connections, making it easy to reach from anywhere. Whether you’re shopping, eating, or just strolling around, Square One is always a great experience. Also they have multiple ebtrace making it convenient to enter mall and food options as stated are worth trying. You get to try different international cuisine

This is probably my favourite mall. It has literally everything. The interior is modern and beautiful too. There is such a wide variety of food, stores and more and finally! Water refill stations everywhere!! Its a truly beautiful mall I would 100% recommend!!

This mall is fanatic and has sooooo many shopping options, It conveniently connects to most major bus routes, as the terminal is directly across from the mall. There's Bath & Bodyworks, Sephora, Walmart and lots more within Square One mall. On the outskirts, you will be amazed at the unique architecture that surrounds the mall. My all time favourite was the Absolute Condos a.k.a Marilyn Monroe Towers. I refer to them as the sexy buildings with Coke bottle shapes.

Growing up in Mississauga, Square One was THE mall of all malls. And while the city has changed greatly in my 40 years, this mall still keeps it's title. The FOOD DISTRICT alone makes it worth visiting, SO many good and unique choices, AND the Kobini for some end of day discount oniguri??? Perfect! Anyway, if ur a geek, lots of shops for you, theirs comics, manga, toys, plushies, videogames, they even had a ONE PIECE POPUP shop in the other food court area. Now, if we could get Nintendo to do a Kirby Cafe... just say'n.

Having visited Square One since my teenage years, I've seen it evolve into a premier shopping destination. The overall cleanliness is impressive, and the covered parking with its spot sensors is a welcome improvement. While the mall has grown, there are opportunities to enhance the visitor experience. I'd love to see fresh plants replace the plastic ones to make the space feel more vibrant. Utilizing empty spaces for new amenities like locker rooms or public art would also be a great addition. A nature path and more diverse food options in the food hall would also be nice. In terms of safety, a more visible security presence could help, perhaps supported by a dedicated app with a low-digit phone number for reporting issues. Additionally, electric shuttle cars would be a valuable addition for people with low mobility, helping them navigate the vast space. Overall, Square One has done an excellent job, but as Canada's largest mall, there's always room for continued improvement.

Wow! This is an enormous mall with tons of options and endless food options. Everything was meticulously clean and well staffed. Prices were a bit higher than other malls but it's new and fancy so it's not a surprise

The mall is huge and has a lot of options of feed, clothing, accessories and toys. I find driving and parking there is sort of a hassle but it could be that I'm just not familiar with the area enough. Sometimes there are events happening like promos. Went to a Jo Malone pop up which was fun and got a free tote bag.

Came to beautiful Square One Shopping Centre with my sweetie to shop at a few stores before heading back home. It's crazy busy for a Saturday evening! The only downside was that an "up" escalator was out of order...and the first 2 steps felt weird. If I need to explain this feeling to you, then you're not human. :)

You can easily spend a whole day at this mall - it is ginormous! Love that each parking garage tells you how many spots are available. I would avoid this mall on the weekends (we were visiting family and went here on Saturday afternoon and there are people everywhere!) We didn't eat here but they have tons of food options at the food court. We even stumbled across a food hall in the mall - it's a much nicer place but had more snack/coffee/pastries items than actual food. My goal one day is to explore every corner of this mall because we only got through 1/3 of the mall and were here for 2-3 hours.

Great mall So many great options for everyone for basically any kind of shopping you need to do. Def wear comfy shoes because this mall is massive

Let's just state the obvious, this place is massive! My Coworkers recommended I check this place out during my visit to Mississauga. I came here after work for some light shopping. We'll for what I thought would be light. I def couldn't get through the whole place and at times felt lost. Luckily they have several interactive maps that allowed you to filter for what store you wanted to find the best route there. Even though i didn't get through everything, I liked how the place was nicely maintained and the variety of stores and places to eat. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Good vibes! Nice shops! My only concern is that food court that once was video recorded having mice therefore I will never eat at SQ1 but I will continue to shop for clothes

Square one is one of the largest malls in the GTA, if not the largest. Plenty of stores and you'll be in for a lot of walking. There's a number of specialty stores open here that you won't find in other nearby malls, ie Simon's. I think for the amount of traffic coming in and out, they keep it fairly clean and organized. I love coming here on a day off just to walk around a bunch. If you're hungry, definitely check out what's new in the marketplace before heading to the food court or the bubble tea/dessert shops. With the Walmart and grocers right there, this is definitely a good one stop shop. But omg parking can be quite a nightmare. Not just that it gets really busy, but people seem to love parking slanted. I've watched people ding the door of the car next to them and not even care. Makes me nervous to leave my car out there. I rather park a bit further away and just get in a few extra steps.

It's a massive, clean and well-organized mall in downtown Mississauga with lots of parking spots available. They have brought a large variety of stores together and you can definitely find what you're looking for if you spend enough time here. The food court has many great food options for everyone's appetite. It is also clean and well-maintained.

I first visited Square One when I had moved to Winnipeg, and returned to the GTA to visit family and friends. For some reason, I tend to visit this shopping mall when I have some ailment or am recovering from one. Back then, I had an ear infection. Square One was going through a renovation phase. None of these obstacles stopped my friend and me from shopping up a storm. Since then, every time I visit the place, it expands and gets bigger. It's almost like the mall gets a steroid shot and more stores appear, bigger and stronger than ever. I recently visited Square One on a Saturday after recovering from a cold. Yes, I am crazy. I blame my medication. I didn't have any issues finding a spot. I parked by entrance 1 where Earls Restaurant is. The parking lot has two floors and each parking lot has a digital sign that clearly shows how many vacation parking spots are free on each level. I was impressed! The downside to the parking lot is that the staircases smell like urine. It's worse when it's a warm summer day like when I was there. I recommend either Square One parking staff air these staircases out or customers bring tanks of oxygen to breathe. There is a decent mix of stores. There are some stores that I can't afford anything in, such as Holt Renfrew and Tiffany's. I was pleased to find Alex and Ani, which is a hip, new jewellery store that suits my budget. My two friends and I spent the afternoon at this mall. Tsujiri has delicious green tea desserts, ice cream, mochi, and more. We also had fun at Muji and Miniso, to get inspired by minimalism and dollar store prices on cute items. I like doing my shoe research at this mall. Skechers and Softmoc are my shoe store loves. I am a huge Skechers fan. Prices are good, but it makes more sense to hit a Skechers outlet instead. I want a pair of Vans and the latter has decent prices. It also has a decent selection of Converse sneakers. I had a good time shopping and browsing at Square One. it's hug, so wear comfy shoes, stretch, and go. Celebration Square is a good five-minute walk away, so you can always do your shopping and check out whatever festivals are taking place over there, which is what we did. We caught Iriefest and the walk was nice. (195)

Came by Square One on an early Monday afternoon. A number of stores were closed because either they changed their working hours (ie. closed on Mondays) or closed permanently. Good to double check online if you are going to a particular store. Throughout the mall, the floors are marked with arrows to direct the flow of shoppers and people follow them for the most part. ;) Digital signs indicating the number of people in the washrooms were also added to help with the social distancing. A good addition to help fight covid!

As far as malls are concerned This one has endured many upgrades It is bigger and better today (first went in 80s.. yes, I'm old) The food district is a difference maker I wish every mall had this experience Quality vendors and some great food/drink options

Huge upscale mall with a selection of everything you could possibly think of and tons of parking. One of the great things about this mall the large selection of specialty chocolates including Laura Second, Rocky Mountain, Godiva, Lindt, and Purdys. There is also conveniently a Walmart as well, for more bargain oriented shopping.

I come here occasionally with my family. We mainly get clothes, shoes, kitchen stuff, food or gifts for relatives from another country. It is really big and busy since it is a mall with a food court and many stores within and around it. Also, it is in Downtown Mississauga. It has pretty much whatever you imagine. In the store, it is pretty quiet, and they play their own songs/playlist. However, in the main area where many of the stores are connected, it is louder which is expected because people are moving around.

Very nice mall once you get inside. Outside, there are good sides and bad sides and always a lot of cars taking up most of the parking. Once in side, everything feels clean and big and it feels like there is another whole new area around every corner. Almost to the extend you might feel lost but not quite.

A good amount of parking in the attached ramps, a great idea. However, navigating through this mall is very confusing. They do have a great selection of stores, but I found it a bit difficult trying to determine where the store was I wanted, and how to get there. Walmart is here, which seems odd, but great for everyday items and general groceries. I like how washrooms are easy to find and very close by.

This mall has so many choices of stores and it feels high end. There is ample parking as well. The washrooms are clean for the most part. There is a particular area called Holt Renfrew for mainly designer and luxury brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Burberry, etc. There are no long lines to go into stores when I went. The prices are pricey though compared to outlet stores. For instance, I went to a Levi's store and even though there was a 50% off, the price for a pair of jeans was like $180 so divided by two it's $90 for one pair of jeans. That's very expensive for me already. If you only want to go window shopping and look around , there are lots of stores to explore and lots of places to eat. I also visited a bubble tea place called the Alley, bought clothes from Cleo and also visited the Food district to buy patties requested by my sister.

Honestly, on of my favorite malls in the GTA to come to due to a lot of the more recent additions. Sure, the construction is hectic and parking is hard to find if you come in the evening, but it's still a great mall. I hope more awesome stores keep coming here to make this mall better!

This mall is pretty amazing, but I'm going to focus on it from a tourist perspective. First and foremost, there's an official currency exchange so if you're coming from the states, there's no reason to stop at the border if you break up the drive to Toronto with a trip here. Part of why this mall caught my attention is because it had a restaurant I wanted to try in Toronto (Reds) and it seemed like a less costly, stressful option. In fact, it has so many restaurants to choose from, a food court that's double the size of most food courts, and the newer addition, The Food District, which has a bunch of mostly unique kiosks with everything from seafood to macarons. I was travelling alone but if it was a family trip, I'm sure we would have been able to find something to please even our finickiest eater without others having to sacrifice trying something new and interesting. I came here for lighting snacking on my way to Toronto: an amazing éclair from Nugateau, macarons from The Macaron Boutique (the cookie part was great, but the fillings were too sugary), Lobster Poutine from Pier 87 (the small serving doesn't look like much, but it's easily a meal and super tasty), and a wine tasting. I came back for a meal at Reds (try the rose lemonade, it's amazing). Turns out they have complementary valet. I didn't take advantage of it, but something to consider. There's plenty of parking, and even though it was super busy both times I stopped here, I never felt overwhelmed by crowds.

So I walked down the hall where the old cinema used to be. There is an Eva's Original Chimneys on Level 2, and in front there is construction work being done. I could not determine where the smell was coming from, but I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of curry. I am extremely disappointed that a high class shopping centre would smell so much of spice. Shopping centres should never smell of strong fish or strong spice or body odour. I now hate shopping here for this reason. I ask that Square One Admin ensure that only quality restaurants and stores do business here, because I do not want Square One to become a disgusting shopping centre like other ones that I refuse to visit.

This mall is massive for a first timer. We enjoyed getting lost. I wish that we had an appetite because the food court looked amazing. Japanese pancakes...someday we will be back to tast you.

Square One has practically everything you could ever want to find in a mall...from high end clothing shops to a dollar store and everything in between. Get a craving while you are in there? There is not only one food court but also a second new food district that has been recently added (not to mention the individual food shops scattered throughout the mall). If I were to have any complaints, it is that it is always busy (but busy is what a mall wants to be) and that I am not a fan of crowds. If you get there early however, it isn't as bad.

Love how big the mall is and how there are a lot of high end stores. It is very spacious inside and good for long walks. The food court seems to be huge and it is has good variety. Plenty of seating available. Love the fact that there are a lot of big name restaurants in the mall available such as Earl's, Moxie's, Reds, and I think Rec Room is opening shortly. Sidenote: I can't believe they have a Chatime and Tsujiri inside! A lot of other malls don't have Chatime like Markville Mall etc. Tsujiri is still popular downtown, so I was shocked to see another franchise inside. This mall is out of the way from where I live. However, if I'm ever in the area I would be game to visit. Excited for Uniqlo to open in the mall soon.

I live on the other side of the GTA, so i'm not usually in mississauga unless I have something specific. I had to come in here for a near by appointment and had some time to waste, and oh man was I impressed and surprised! Last time I was at square one was years back and it did not look like this at all! The place is revamped and renovated inside out! The new sections are stunning, variety of stores are awesome! Way to go..!!

Since built in the 1970s, the mall did a glo-up. You won't be disappointed. New Holt Renfrew division, Indigo and Food District is nice. RIP Brandy Melville, Forever21, and Target. P.S. It is named Square One because the mall is built on One Square Mile. :-)

We invariably end up here to get some shopping done and kill time whenever we are visiting the area. This has got to be one of the biggest malls I have ever been to. Lot of good stores and dining options.

The best mall in the GTA in my opinion. Yes, I put it above Yorkdale and Eaton Centre. The interior is really nice, clean and modern and there is a wide variety of stores to choose from, from your typical to casual to high-end. It's almost as if you're at the Mall of America (but not quite, since there's no amusement park here). Selection is plenty. You can also find a lot of stores here that you won't be able to find at other malls in the area. It's also centrally located, there's even a Whole Foods Market across from the mall (but not attached). Lots of great food options as well, from what you'd typically see in a food court to high end restaurants. Look for the food district, that is NOT to be missed. There's a place there called Kibo Sushi and it's some of the best sushi I have ever had. Who would have thought it could be found in a mall! It does get pretty busy here but that is to be expected, it is Mississauga after all!

One of the best malls anywhere in Canada located within the best living area one can hope to be a part of. Amazing stores, amazing food culture, specially within their new Food District. Definitely check it out if you are ever in Mississauga area.

It has pretty much everything I need! It has most stores, including the new addition which has a selection of higher end stores. I am also an addict to sweet caffeinated drinks and the selection doesn't disappoint. Every time I go (even for just a small errand), I have to get something for my sweet-tooth. The new parking garage connected to Holt Renfrew also has electric car chargers for my car -- I just wish they were free like in most other shopping centers.

Square One is the exception that proves the rule. For review #100, I thought I'd talk about a place that has a lot of personal significance to me. I've been visiting Square One since I was a child back in the 90's, and I've seen how much it's built itself up as a shopping mecca akin to Yorkdale Mall. After a recent visit, I thought about how far it's come over the years. Square One is absolutely massive now. With a luxury wing that makes you feel equal parts inadequate and impressed (with a car showroom, no less), a revamped food court and a ton of new businesses, this is a much different beast than the mall I remember. I used to come here as a kid with my grandfather and try the carousel that used to be located where the Apple Store is. Now it's shop-until-you-drop with just about every type of store you can think of. This is the type of place where you can hang with your friends getting a drink and lounging on some of the leather chairs they have throughout the mall or drop several thousand on designer clothing. It's a mall that has something for everyone, regardless of their purpose or budget. While there are certain inherent problems with the mall (lack of parking despite the expanded lots, volume), it's not a deal-breaker. Square One is a place I've been visiting for many years, and will continue to visit for many more to come.

I ate this ramen in food court of this mall. I remember the store is called I love sushi. The name of this plate is house ramen, u can choose spicy or not. But for japanese food, it never spicy for me. The soup was incredible, very tasty! The pork cooked very well. My cousin ate amai noodle, looks like pad thai and she felt disappointed of it. I also tried sushi, salad here, mango salad here not too sour, seaweed kind of expensive, the snail very great, try it.

This is a gigantic mall! Honestly they have many parking lots around and they STILL get packed, like what gives? Anyways, that just shows you how many people shop at this place. It really has grown a lot in the last decade, and it is probably the best mall in Mississauga. It houses one of the newly opened "Simon's", I'm telling you that store is the bomb dot com lol. The mall can be accessed by car or transit (local buses and go bus), so it is a great meetup location for those around the area. Even though I don't live in Mississauga, I do come to this mall every now and then (like 2-3x per year lol). Muji as you know is also in downtown Toronto, but at Square One you are not surrounded by pen-hungry University students - THEY ARE ACTUALLY IN STOCK HERE lols. Anyhow, great mall, not much complaints. I can only say that getting out of the mall can be bothersome because there are so many exits, I always get lost =p

I love this mall! Super awkward way to describe it, but it's designed like a farm land where it's almost cut into sections and has multiple routes to enter at any intersection. Square One is easy to spot on the highway because of the iconic spinning towers at the back of the mall. Coming out of the highway, make sure you keep right to enter the mall. There's an ample amount of parking spaces, unless you hit a big shopping day like Black Friday or something. The parking tower is where I commonly go to get spots, and there's multiple levels to try to ensure that you get at least a spot, even if it is a little further away. The stores in Square One are popular and fun to shop in. They're not super old stores, well maybe except the design in Walmart, but it's definitely practical. I wouldn't say Square One is one of the newly renovated malls anymore, it sure had a time where it was.

The best mall I ever been too! I work near Dundas and usually I would go to Dixie mall but I always go here for bubble tea and the shopping spree. I love going into a store and choosing everything from clothes to food. I always love their food and hope the keep up the good work

Nice clean mall. Most of the employees at the stores here are friendly. I just wish there weren't as many criss-crossing of walkways of shops. It's like 'have we been here before?'. Sometimes it's almost like you've gone in circles.

Best Mall , they have everything and it's always busy so you need to come and shop here and they have a great food court and they are open new stores and upgrade the mall and it's bigger !!

I only discovered after my visit that Square One is the second largest shopping center in Canada.I am completely unsurprised at this, because this place is really easy to get lost in! I was in town for the holidays, and that one day where I had some time to myself, it of course had to be -25 in the daytime. Outdoor entertainments were out of the question for me, so I decided to wander around here for most of the day. There's a lot of parking, in large lots as well as a nice parking structure that has some bridges over to the center, which is nice for a day like I had. I wish I'd known about the coat check earlier, that's a very nice touch to keep you from getting too hot. There's also a package concierge if you are buying a LOT of stuff and don't want to wander around with a giant pile of bags. So there's basically every shop you could think of, and plenty you haven't. There are stores and brands from the US, plenty from Canada, and several I've never seen before. It's a lot of fun to wander around, and a good place to spend the day, particularly when it's freezing outside.

This place has pretty much everything you want . From Whole foods , walmart, Dollarama to so many many clothing stores, cosmetic , jewelry, cafes and so much more. The food court - has so much variety of options.Must admit sometime I come here only to grab food. Ample parking space. GO station right here. Surrounding this as well so many options. Once here you can barely go back disappointed.

LOCATION : Heart of downtown Mississauga. Beside Celebration Square, City Hall and the public library. PARKING : ample parking in open space and indoor building. AMBIANCE : Good, clean CROWD : Working families, students FOOD COURT : Huge selection of fast food. It's crowded and always full at meal times STORES : Some closed and the theatre closed too but more stores are opening. New wing opening soon!

Nice Mall in Heart of Downtown Mississauga !! It's a Pricier Mall so not much of Sale Prices. Brands wise, it holds a lot of Brands, the regular as well the luxury ones. Recently opened up Simons as well. One good thing about it is the presence of Walmart. So it makes the trip to the Mall worth it as well. Appearance wise the Mall is great, it oversees a big area, and a lot to cover, hence you can have a good stroll (that's what we actually go for!) Food Court- there could've been more options and varieties, the ones here are limited, seating space is good enough. Parking - Ample parking available, however you may have to walk a little depending on Entrance as well. Shopping Wise it's just ok, nothing much great about it !!

I rarely make it out to Square One - but when I do I make sure that I make it an all day event! I don't find it the most easy mall to navigate, but maybe I just need to visit more often and get the lay of the land (small town girl here). But really - this mall is MASSIVE! I get more steps than ever before in spending the day here. I have always been able to find a parking spot when I visit - maybe I am the only one? :) I really enjoy a large group of stores here - I like that high end is mixed with some regular style stores. I also LOVE that they have a Simons! My favourite store. I like how it's not all little expensive boutique style stores - because I sure can't afford to always shop there! The food court is also quite robust here - basically something for everyone. I always suggest taking a day trip out to Square One, there are so many options for spending the day shopping around. There is really a store for everyone!

I can honestly say this is my favorite mall in Ontario, maybe even, anywhere, this mall is a bit confusing for someone who has just visited it for the first time, but this mall is just amazing. Wal-Mart, the food court, HMV, this mall truly has everything. there is something always going on here on both the inside and the outside. very clean on the inside, and literally has something for everyone. a true "ton" of parking both level ground and multi leveled(south end). this mall also has a transit hub for Brampton transit, "miway" and go transit. its absolutely worth coming to the largest mall in Ontario

If you were to take all the malls in Toronto or the "GTA" as we Torontonians call it, and make one big mall. This would be it! My jaw dropped when I realized how insanely large this mall was and it's under renovation for more expansion! :0 Simon's, urban outfitters, Saje and Lush! Like could this get any better?!.. yes it did!! This is the place to go for holiday shopping and to get your daily exercise in. I was blown away! From luxury high end boutiques to the low end bargain shoppers! This malls got it all! Even an enormous food court!

Go-to mall for me. I'm here all the time.. now they're opening UNIQLO soon and the Rec Room which is even better. Simon's is probably the best store to open their and the luxury expansion is nice and all, but not really affordable for most shoppers (even during sales). Miniso recently opened as well, however it is way too small and crowded. I go to this mall a lot and I never get bored.

Lots of selections on brands......connected with the Bay, Holt Renfrew, Walmart, Simons, Whole Foods. Convenient public transportation terminal nearby. Basically this area has choices from $ to $$$$, and lesser people than downtown Toronto.

doubt anyone is here to read my review on square one.. great mall. gigantic mall. huge mall. lots of people. lots of cars. lots of waiting everywhere you go.. parking situation usually sucks so I just head straight for the parkade now
