Love this place for cute accessories, fun gifts, and amazing clothing options. It’s in downtown Decatur, which has some challenging parking, and it’s also worth visiting. Make it a trip because there’s many fun shops, restaurants, and cafe’s in the area. Also, Marta is right around the corner so it’s easily accessible with public transportation.

Unlike other reviews I read- I found the staff to be very helpful and willing and wanting to be of assistance to a shopper. There was a large selection of fair priced items - it seemed like a couture/boutique style shop but with prices that were much more balanced. If you like spending lots of money on clothes, accessories, shoes and gifts...there are expensive options too! And don’t forget to check out the sale racks in the back!

I love the unique items of this specialty boutique; however, customer satisfaction is not a priority over making money. I’ve spent several hundreds of dollars in this boutique. When this beautiful necklace broke, they gave me the email and number of the vendor and that was it. Of course, the vendor wouldn’t respond at all😩 a great customer lost forever.

Squash Blossom Boutique is absolutely adorable !! It is decorated so fun and the inventory is super fresh and exciting! I always find the most unique clothing. It is also the perfect place for gifts. The adorable fun staff will help you in the best way! They’ll intricately wrap gifts for you. The jewelry is also so unique! I brought my mom recently and it is her new favorite store!! A must go to in Decatur !! My favorite boutique !!!

I had the best time shopping at Squash while visiting family. I purchased a great necklace that had come apart during my travel home. I notified the store and the level of professionalism and caring was so amazing! Within the week I had a replacement and an excellent experience! In my opinion, nothing speaks higher than how a business handles a problem. I’d give them 10 stars!

Every time I visit Squash Blossom Boutique in Decatur, I’m greeted with genuinely kind and helpful staff. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere! Not only is the customer service always great, but I consistently find what I need. The clothing is stylish, well-curated, and high quality. I always leave feeling happy with my purchase. Squash Blossom is my absolute favorite store in Atlanta! Every time I wear a piece from there, I get compliments (no exaggeration). The clothing & jewelry are so unique & timeless. Plus I can wear everything off the rack! The owner Lisa has an amazing eye. My S.O. now knows to get me a gift card here each year for birthdays ;)

I visited Atlanta several years ago and ran across this fabulous boutique owned by an infectious sistah. I too wear a low cut so i felt double welcomed in her shop. I purchased a pair of beautiful feather earrings that trip that I still cherish today. I returned home to Ohio after my visit but immediately told many of my Atlanta friends about the boutique and the warm welcome that I received. I’ve been following the shops growth and accolades ever since. I’m sure that I will be back again to purchase more unique and awesome products.

They do an awesome job of showcasing local businesses. I purchased some syrups from Brown Girl Mixers. I liked how they showed you what company made the products. They did a great job or pointing out the Black owned businesses and that was my focus for the day. The prices in here were kind of high, but it's essentially a boutique so I didn't expect TJ Maxx prices. My syrups were only $28 though and there were plenty of products in there that weren't super expensive. The employees were really helpful and informative and the space was packed full of stuff but it was very well-organized.

I could have spent the afternoon in this adorable, fun, funky shop with unique, high-end pieces. Unfortunately I was in a time crunch but I still managed to do a circuit of the store and purchase several items. It's disappointing when I see something cute and it is only available in S or XS so I was pleased that they had the larger sizes I needed. Everything in the shop is so cute and colorful, and there was fun music playing, it was a feast for the senses. I hope to return for a longer visit next time I'm in town!

I looked the uniqueness of Squash Blossom's assortment of products -- jewelry, clothes, shoes, etc. I've been purchasing from them a few years and have spent hundreds of dollars in the pricey boutique. i purchased a necklace that I loved. A few months of wearing, and it just broke, fell off my neck as I was walking. I heard the metal hit the concrete, so I was able to pick it up with most of the little beads. I reached out to the store to see if they had a repair shop they could refer me to. I was also looking for some type of customer service regarding me being a faithful customer, like we can't fix it but next time you come in we'll give you whatever off. After a couple of attempts, they gave me the name of the company they got it from -- no luck there either. I'll never spend another dime in this store.

Squash Blossom is a great local boutique with a Free People / Anthropologie vibe. I ended up getting lost inside for at least a half hour with my friend earlier this year and struggled to escape with fewer than three items -- a fun scarf, some Ink + Alloy earrings (based in Decatur!), and a Rifle Paper mug. The only con for me was that some items had a pretty steep price point. I haven't yet uncovered a lot of favorite local boutiques in the local Atlanta area since moving here in 2020 but this one definitely makes my list. I wish I lived closer so I could check out new arrivals all the time.

A bit on the pricey side but really nice and unique clothing and accessories. Lisa the owner is very sweet. I love supporting brick & mortar, black-woman-owned establishments!

Such a cute store with beautiful clothing and unique items. The vibe is cool and the customer service was perfect. I bought a small zodiac perfume and can't get enough of the smell. It's so yummy! I will definitely be back.

My mom and I always have a good time when we visit Squash Blossom. We can definitely do some damage in here...haha First thing you should know: it ain't cheap. But you're getting a higher quality product than when you visit other boutiques. They have a large collection of labels and mostly a chic, hippie type of style. You can find more structured items here and there, but for the most part it's boho (which I love). You'll find brands like Spanx, Maelu, Free People, Lucky and Kut from the Kloth to name a few. They have clothes, shoes, jewelry and gift items. The selection is really impressive and the store itself is pretty big in size. Be sure to head to the back where you'll find some clearance items. :) The service here is consistently friendly and helpful, but not too attentive in that you feel pressured to buy something. Mom and I can always find something to take home when we visit! See ya next time we're in Decatur, SB!

What a wonderful selection of clothing accessories and shoes! Was so thrilled to stumble along Toms boots being sold for 60 percent off.

I loved my experience here. The store is laid out very well! Please know that the Decatur square in general is a small town feel, so don't come in expecting it to be like a department store! I had amazing help when I visited, but yes, I had to wait a little longer because they were helping others as well! The prices here are great! I purchased Tom's Deia boots and Sunglasses and they were less than retail. Also - this is one of the best places with a variety of Toms retail! Sign up to be on the mailing list too to get email updates! And look out for sales, because when I went they were doing 30% outerwear.

I found this store unique and displayed in a logical order. The discounts are at the back, my personal favorite area. It is always nice to find a store that carries Free People. That line has a bohemian flare. You do have to pay for parking or maybe plan to have lunch while your are in the area.

Really cute stuff here but I just purchased a shirt and some jewelry and noticed that the total seemed too high. So asked the cashier - her name was Deb according to my receipt - to see what I got and she showed me (she did not offer to see what she had rang up and the prices) so I was like well ok maybe I spent too much and added it up wrong. I walked out of the store and noticed that she rang my shirt up twice. This was an honest mistake and I was not mad at all! But I went in to get her to refund it and she did, but she was SO RUDE about it. I was not mad or anything and I was being so nice to her I really didn't care I just wanted it to be fixed! I just said "hey sorry but I think you rang this up twice." She had a stank face the whole time and didn't say a word. I asked her "will this go back on my card?" Because she didn't specify or ask for my card, and then my friend said "thank you" audibly before we walked out and she didn't respond just kept up with the stank face. Super unpleasant experience with Deb.

We've been here many times over the years and have bought several purses. Tonight we returned to buy socks (for $12+/pair) and wanted to start by visiting their restroom. When I asked which door it was behind, since it had been a while, the old woman appraised us with a withering stare (as I sweated, having just pushed my wife's wheelchair several blocks uphill) and *claimed* they didn't have a restroom. As we were leaving, we overheard another customer tell his young child that they were going to the back of the store to use the restroom, and nobody bothered to contradict him. Bless your heart, Squash Blossom. Bless... your... heart.

I found myself in Decatur Square a couple of weeks ago and stopped in to Squash Blossom. The first thing that struck me was how big the place is. I expected a cramped little boutique but found the interior to be quite spacious. The boutique sells all type of cute clothes and shoes (dresses, tops, maxi skirts, etc). They also have jewelry, bags and other fun items. There were dressing rooms and seating for trying on shoes. The staff was super friendly and definitely made me feel welcome without being overbearing. I'd recommend stopping in to SB if you are in the area. I can't imagine you won't find something you will love!

This is one of my favorites stores to visit, not only for the retail but also for the VIBES. The staff is very friends and well experience in the fashion world. Also let's note I'm a guy, that like shopping for my wife and kids. Every now and then I'll get extra lucky and find some great items for myself.

I've been twice now and this place continues to impress. Super cute, hipster boutique in the heart of Decatur. I've purchased shoes, scarves and rings here. All wonderful, unique pieces. I do want to caution however, my friend who was visiting from out of town (NYC so you know she is a picky one!!)...bought a "love" ring and within an hour, the letters, "v" and "e" fell off. Not cool but then again it was a $9 ring so what do you expect? Still was bummed for her, though. Squash: please check the glue on your cheaper items...not cool to have this happen an hour after purchase!

I've been through my fair share of boutiques in the Atlanta area (....me? Boutiques!? There comes a time for everything I guess...) and I like this one second best to Youngblood. They are host to a lot of cute, well-priced jewelry. They also sell my new favorite gift to give girlfriends for birthdays or thank yous: these hair tie things that look like a cute, colorful bracelet when you where them around your wrist and come "bejeweled" ($12), "charmed" ($6), or plain ($3). Their clothing is not really my style, but I love checking out everything else they have there in terms of accessories. I went a few months back and they had a huge display of colorful sun hats, but they were gone when I was there on Saturday.. sad! The staff is great. They are friendly and happy to answer questions but (unlike other boutiques) don't stalk you and chat you up when you're in the store. Come here while your scoutmob lasts!

I didn't eat for a week after I last binged at Squash Blossom--not so I would look slimmer or anything, but so I would be able to compensate for the gaping hole in my wallet. The seven-day peasant life was worth it, though. Squash Blossom, located on the Decatur Square, carries so many precious brands, such as Nick & Moe, Tulle and the well-known Free People. I consider the store expensive but right up my alley--oh, the price I pay for having classy, timeless taste... After my most recent trip to the Blossom, I walked away with a wool, jewel purple sweater with orange, maroon and green flowers embroidered on the chest with yarn, along with buttons at the hip to secure the gaping V-neck (an undershirt IS required) and unique stitching across the shoulders, adding just the right amount of oomph!; a cotton short-sleeved shirt by the same brand, maroon with similar embroidery around the chest and shiny white buttons; and a short-sleeved wool dress--chocolate brown with emerald green, New Age-y swirls and adorable pockets on each side along the bottom. These pieces definitely launched my fall wardrobe up a notch. The jewelry is gorgeous, too, especially the leaf necklaces, hand-dipped in silver or gold. The next time I have extra cash to burn, I'm heading to Squash Blossom to usurp one of these lovely baubles. The staff is nice, too--they don't try to force extra clothing on me when I'm heading toward the dressing room. And they aren't snobby.

Lisa was phenomenal and her store is gorgeous. Definitely worth the stop. And her scents are to die for!

I really want to completely love this store but due to the high prices and terrible return policy (store credit that actually EXPIRES! What??), I find I can only love the idea of the store. The clothing is unique and trendy, they have terrific shoes that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else and the designer names are great. I also like the boutique vibe and cozy feel. It is a fantastic place to shop if you a completely certain that you like what you have purchased and if you don't mind paying more for the ambience.

Passed through this store today and thought it was adorable. I loved the collection. Although this place is a bit out of my price range for everyday wear, I can see myself splurging on a few items here and there. They seemed to have a really good fall/winter collection of hats/scarves/gloves etc.

Didn't get anything this time, but the adorableness of this boutique drew me in. The selection that they offered was awesome and I can see myself coming back. The salespeople were friendly and not to the brink of running me out of the store. The prices can be on the high side, but I saw a shelf of Joe's Jeans that were 50% off the original price (price as marked) and some were really cute. I have been shopping WAY too much lately and had to convince myself to not take the dive. Going back at some point, if not only to have an excuse to roam around downtown Decatur.

Yep, the clothes at Squash Blossom cost more than the GAP. If you're looking to build a wardrobe made out of inexpensive, mass produced pieces that look like what everybody else is wearing, I suggest you head to some of the fabulous malls in the area. That's not to say that the prices are outrageous at Squash Blossom - they make sense for what you are buying. I've always found a combination of funky and feminine clothes that are comfortable and flattering. That, to me, is worth paying a little extra. It's almost overwhelming when you walk in - there are so many featured designers and unique pieces throughout the store. The service is great though - the people who work there are all great stand-ins if your best friend can't shop with you. Unlike a lot of boutiques and even some of the mall shops, all of the ladies at Squash are down to earth, fun and have a great sense of style. If you've never experience having a personal shopper, look for Santi and Julia. They will hook. you. up. They will help you find what you're looking for, tell you if a pair of jeans makes your ass look fat - then go find another cut that flatters your curves. When I've been there shopping for a special occasion, they always pull things I would never even contemplate - and usually walk out with something awesome. Like I said, this is a place to buy pieces that help you feel extraordinary - not like everybody else. I'm a fan. If you love fashion, but hate the mall - go here. If you want beautiful clothes that you can wear every day, this is the place. Have fun!

Love love love this boutique! I found the best Free people boots here that I haven't seen anywhere else. Every time I go I find a piece that I get complimented on. And the sales staff is super friendly and helpful. This is a great place to go if you need quality pieces, don't want to spend a fortune, need things that you can keep season to season or a few super on trend pieces or just aren't sure what you need and want someone to help you pick and choose. Definitely pay them a visit.

I've been in many Atlanta area boutiques and never have i felt more ignored than when i went into squash blossom. they passed me several times without as much as a hello and in fact did not acknowledge my presence until i addressed them first...tacky when i called to complain i discovered the manager and owner were two of the three employees there which made me feel the employee morale must be low the clothes are cute but in atlanta cute eclectic pieces are not a rareity. it seems a high price point should be accompanied by great customer service

Sent my 16 year old and friend in with a $200 budget for dress. After about 15 mins they were asked, "are you here to play dress up or to really buy something?" Over the years we have spend thousands and thousands of dollars at this store , we used to LOVE this place under the old ownership. This treatment forces us to take my money elsewhere. Good Luck Squash Blossom. In about 5 years the 16 year olds will have a lot more than $200 to spend and they will remember how they were treated. So will their parents.

I went there on a whim for a new dress for the holidays. They have a decent selection but a lot of the items are priced high. Now I worked retail for many years so I get it...but when clothes are see through or look worn for several years I can't bare to spend the big bucks. However if you go through the racks you can find decent stuff for a good price. I saw sizes XS through XL in some garments..and lots of variety in the t-shirt selection, but those were a bit pricey for thin jersey tees. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is nice. I am also not a fan of Free People garments, but the other stuff there is pretty cool. I'd really like to go back when I have some extra money and look at their jeans, cause the selection looked fabulous!

Love this store! I am amazed at how time flies when I am in there, I actually got a ticket once from my meter expiring! I swear I was only in the store 20 minutes! The clothes are mostly unique and trendy with the occasional grandma sweater thrown in the loop. The shoes are always funky and cute.

The people here are very rude. I entered and was not greeted. When I asked where a pair of shoes were, they pointed. I asked them to show me they begrudgingly walked me over and showed me. I had to find them to ask to try on a size, and again when it didn't fit, and again when that didn't fit, and fourth time to ask them for a pair which wasn't smashed during shipping. They didn't have a non-smashed pair and could not order any others. I left and wrote a letter to the owner so they could at least apologize. The owner never replied. I will not ever shop here again.

This really is a cute store, so for that it earns 3 stars. I cannot give 5 because all two of times I have visited, I have been treated like a nuisance rather than someone who might help keep them in business (I clothes). Nevertheless, I have purchased 4 pieces. It was almost 5,but I decided to buy the last piece online, even though it cost me more. I just couldn't bring myself to give this place more money. Plus one piece pilled up after one wearing. Maybe if they hadn't turned out the lights while I was in the fitting room, I would have been better able to see the fabric. Caveat emptor.

They also offers a variety of one of kind gifts for those hard to shop for folks. Their prices are compatible with others nearby boutiques but what truly sets them apart are their eye-catching, trendy, unique pieces. From clothes to shoes to jewellery and let's not forget pursues/clutches. super friendly and helpful staff who greets you the moment you walk through the doors. They take the time to ask the right questions and helped me achieve the right look. I highly doubt you will find or run into anyone rock'N your style.

This is a trendy store w interesting clothes selections. My issue is that customer service is so poor. You get attitude every time you walk in the door and there's no effort to care about you. The owner is great but the attitude is enough to not make me want to go back.

The selection at this boutique is great. I got so many cute items and can't wait to go back. They have a really great curated collection. Large selection of everyday wear, shoes to die for, bath and body products and super cute accessories. The staff is very helpful and sweet. Parking is very easy- the parking app is very convenient. I will be back soon and recommend to everyone!

After eating a nearby restaurant for brunch, a friend wanted to go shopping so we stopped in at Squash Blossom. Boutiques aren't really my thing, but my friend spends more money on clothing than I do. Some of the clothing prices were quite high, even for a boutique. However, I was not interested in most of the clothing anyway. There were quite a few shoes that I thought were cute though. But more than I spend. A few of the jewelry items were also attractive - at prices that I would usually find at some of the nice festival booths. So you can take my opinion for what it's worth- which may not be much given that this is not my kind of store.

this is a great place in decatur that contains choice wardrobe staples as well as a plethora of accent pieces (excellent selection of purses, scarves, jewelry, etc.). the staff are very helpful and not pushy. also, surprise, surprise, but they had shoes in my size (9-10) in stock. rare! i liked that the purses were in different shapes, colours, sizes and styles. this is the kind of store you can shop at with your mom, and you both can find things you like. to mitigate cost, join their mailing list. (really, you should do this at many boutiques you frequent, esp. in the decatur area because they offer coupons and discounts periodically). shop on a sunday when metered parking is free or after 5pm or 6pm on weekdays when the meters power down. (always check the stickers on the meters). lastly, the store participates in a warehouse boutique sale that happens twice a year. you can get a lot of stuff at a great price there as well.

Love this store! I get so bored going to the typical box stores. Squash Blossom always has a cute, unique pieces. It's pretty diverse too - I feel like a variety of different style people could easily shop there. No pretense here; such a welcomed change. Owners (current and past) have always been friendly and helpful regardless of if I've walked in looking like Hell or if I've been dressed up.

Okay I do enjoy going in this store and looking at all the cute clothing they have, but their clothing is too expesive. I have never bought anything from here, mainly because of the prices. Not even clearance items.

Don't be a male. The old woman who works at the shop was so incredibly rude to a us (a group of 4 males). At one point when I picked up a ring, she told me it wouldn't fit and I should go to her sister store. She couldn't fathom that we could be shopping for someone else -- and who care if we were shopping for us!?

They have some nice clothes, but I think they are a bit hit-and-miss on their selection, and all the clothes are very expensive for the quality. I have the most fun in the sales section in the back.

I love this place especially because I am now at a phase of my life where malls all looks alike to me, I'm retired, my back hurts so I don't want to walk a whole lot, and I only buy clothes that are casual , comfortable and fun This fits all of those categories.

This is, quite honestly, my favorite boutique in all of Atlanta. The women who work here (the beautiful and welcoming store-owner, Lisa, the incredibly warm and wonderful Jamie, the awesome Rachael) couldn't be more fabulous. The selection of clothing is always amazing, and the prices are super reasonable. They have the best brands (BB Dakota, Free People, Heather, etc.), and they almost always have my size. I almost never walk into this store and walk out without something (something my husband will unhappily attest to - I shop here WAY more than I should). If you're local, definitely sign up for the frequent shopper program because their sales and coupons are the best. I highly recommend Squash Blossom Boutique if you're looking for fun, unique clothing that you won't find at department stores, in a relaxed atmosphere.

I have always loved Squash Blossom for its clothes and atmosphere. The inventory is unique, fashionable and of interesting design. The new owner Lisa Bobb and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, warm and kind. They helped me find the right outfit for a very special event and were patient, supportive and honest. I am here from Rochester NY visiting my sister. THIS STORE is awesome! Do not pass it by! Emanuel went out of her way to look up the cost of a purse I fell in love with at first sight. I will be returning!!!

Precious clothing and accessories for women in quaint Decatur Square. The items are hot and trendy without looking ridiculous. In fact, every thing looks really good ... and really tempting. Get ready to spend some of your paycheck here. Have no fear, they always have things on sale. Once I walked in to "browse" and be tempted, only to learn of their "buy one pair, get the other half price" jeans sale. Sweetness!

Squash Blossom is a feminine boutique in Downtown Decatur. It's almost like a Forever 21 for women in their thirties and forties accept the prices are considerable higher. Most of the styles are trendy and somewhat fashionable. I particularly loved the occasional dresses and skirts they had as they were very unique. Chances are if you shop here you won't have any clones.

I found this hidden treasure via a Scout Mob. This is a Super cute boutique with really cool accessory finds!!! They have really nice scarves, clothes, and bags. The clothing is unique, with a really nice vintage feel to it. The jewelry and belts are my FAVE!!! The belts are beautifully beaded with a wooden buckle, very unique and perfect to jazz up any style!! There are bracelets, necklaces, and earrings also with the similar bead work that compliment the belts, but look really fun and trendy on their own!
