I went for lunch and ordered a New York strip, cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, the first steak was closer to well done. I politely asked for it to be redone, but the server didn’t seem very pleased and told me it would take another 20–30 minutes. Despite that, the second attempt came out in about 15 minutes—but this time, it was extremely rare, practically raw in the center (see photo). What made the experience more disappointing was that the server never returned to check on the second steak or ask if it was prepared correctly. While the atmosphere of the restaurant was actually quite nice and inviting, the overall service and attention to detail were lacking. I understand that mistakes happen, but how they’re handled makes all the difference—and in this case, it really fell short. Both the quality of the food and the customer service could use significant improvement. Edit: A Great Comeback Experience A few weeks ago, I had lunch here and wasn’t too impressed. But I decided to give it another try, and I’m so glad I did—this visit was excellent. I ordered the Great American Bison burger, the New York strip (medium), mac and cheese, Berramisu and a few drinks. The steak was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The bison burger was also very tasty. The mac and cheese was for my daughter, and she loved it—it was creamy, cheesy, and just right for a kid. They also have a kids’ menu, which is a big plus for families. We sat outdoors this time, and the atmosphere was great. The patio is shaded by trees, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy a meal. It was a quiet Sunday lunch with very few people around, which made it even more enjoyable. The service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. A nice surprise: they offer a brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays, which adds even more variety and makes it worth coming back on a weekend. Parking is convenient, with a lot right next to the restaurant, but it’s a bit pricey at $10 for two hours. Still, it’s close and hassle-free if you’re just there for lunch. This visit completely changed my impression of the place. Great food, friendly service, and a family-friendly atmosphere—I’ll definitely be back!

The chili was very delicious but not hot (temperature)enough. 🔥 The margherita pizza was so so. 🍕 The taco salad was not traditional savory. It was sour. It needed tomatoes 🍅 🍲 and chili added on top or on the side. Service was great friendly & handsome. 😍🤩😏 Great atmosphere. Loved this place for 14 years. Hamburgers 🍔 are the best! Had those in the past. Great prices, Recommend adding Gorgonzola cheese to your French fries, 🍟😋 but the deserts and sodas need to be lower-priced 3-22-25 @10pm 🙂

Hands down best fries I have ever had! Had a great Hef with our lunch, pulled pork was very flavorful, some of the best we have had. Great place for lunch. I had the chicken rice bowl, id probably skip that for the pulled pork sandwich next time.

*pizza only review* Good quality ingredients, fermented light dough with a decent crisp and good chew. Sauce is a bit understated - simple and good balance, but not a great ratio. Good quality cheese, fresh mozz. Unfortunately too much flour on bottom. Overall a good order for an average pub.

Google
Delicious brunch at Squatters! We had their country fried steak eggs hash browns sourdough toast and it came out on a cast iron skillet - nice and hot!! Their dog-friendly patio is unfortunately only open in the summer. ☹️ Cozy atmosphere inside with warm fires going, friendly staff, food comes out hot - love this spot! 🍻🥂🥘

My server was super awesome and friendly. He gave great advise on beer options. The manger stopped by and she was very friendly too. The buffalo chili was super delicious. And of course the beer was amazing.

Great place , superb customer service , I wish I remembered her name but she was wonderful. Great pizza and good drinks. Was seated right away and just a great time. Thank you

Google
Local spot with good beer and decent food. The pretzel was good but it did not look like it did in the pictures. It was quite small for the price they charge. The Nachos were good and probably the best thing our group ate. The steak and cheese sandwich was embarrassing and should be removed from the menu or completely redone. There was barely any meat in there and not well seasoned . The bun that it came on was a basic grocery store bun that was soggy. Such a disappointment. Overall would come here for the beer, not so much the food.

Yelp
Squatters Pub was such a cool find. Total disclosure, my partner has been several times and had great things to say, so it make our short list. We walked a short 3 blocks and beat the unusual 9 pm crowd - found out later their was a convention in town. With folks piling in, the wait staff took care of us and them, with ease. Nice. We ordered fried pickles, a burger and fries and a taco salad. We couldn't finish anything but had we had more room, we definitely would have. Everything was made to order, cooked and seasoned well and arrived quickly. Wait staff were helpful and friendly. Squatter's has a really laid back vibe, lots of seating areas and their really open concept and unique decor makes this place a def return to, for us. Definitely stop by, if you're in the area. Great food and drink, all in one place.

Yelp
Nice pub with good beer and good pub food. Izzy was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She should be promoted and/or given a raise. But I loved SLC and will return.

Yelp
Squatters Pub is the mainstay of brewpubs in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. Located on Broadway (also known as 300 South) they are conveniently located to many of the downtown attractions and also hotels for our out of town visitors. The variety of beers available both on tap and bottled/canned run the spectrum so you'll definitely be able to find a beer you can enjoy. And once you find one you enjoy don't forget they offer carryout so you can buy your favorite beer in cans to take home with you too. Also be sure to come hungry as the menu at Squatters is broad with sandwiches, salads and main entrees or lots of appetizers if you just feel like a little nibble or two. I've never had a bad item on the menu and I've tried just about everything on the menu. Some of my faves include the burgers, bacon topped meatloaf and the fish & chips. These are classics and Squatters does it right. The service is always prompt and spot on. This place gets packed and gets busy but the staff is focused on taking care of the customer so you leave happy. My only negative to Squatters is the parking situation. Located in the heart of downtown there's really no free parking options. It's paid parking everything either on the street or in one of the private lots.

Yelp
Stopped in recently for lunch! Sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I had the Off the Tree juicy IPA and my wife had Dog Lake IPA. We enjoyed them both! I ordered a cup of chili and she ordered a cup of the seafood chowder! My chili was ok, nothing amazing but still good. Her chowder was excellent! For our entree, I had the tacos with carnitas and she had the Mac n Cheese with Andouille sausage! My tacos were good but the Mac n Cheese was amazing! Portions are very generous! Loved the atmosphere and the service was exceptional!!

Inez L.

Yelp
Great pub! What I liked most was that they didn't serve typical pub food. We had yellow curry bowl with shrimp and chicken cilantro bowl. Bowls were very good. Service was great. Enjoyed the ambiance! Nice for first stop in Utah!!

Tina L.

Yelp
Food is excellent! My husband loved the IPA's. Gretchen, our server was delightful and took care of my weird pork allergy. Definitely will be back for the fun atmosphere!

Yelp
This was one of the few restaurants we found open on a Sunday in Salt Lake City. We were in town for a volleyball tournament and it was our last day and we were looking for some lunch before we headed to the airport. We stopped in, place was packed place was packed, but we figured it was worth the wait. The hostess was friendly and it only took us about 15 minutes to get a table. We ordered a couple local beers and had burgers and a pizza. Everything was delicious, and our server was very friendly, he came back to check on us often and made sure that we had everything we needed. All in all I think this place has great food and drinks and is obviously very popular for a reason. We will be back in town for another volleyball tournament in a few months and definitely plan to visit again.

Yelp
I love the ambiance at Squatters - nice and lively, fun vibe. The service is good, nothing to complain about. The food isn't bad, but not out of this world. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere - this is a great place. If you're looking for great food - many other options I'd recommend.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
Here in SLC for work training. I was recommended Squatters for Super Bowl viewing, so I went prior to Super Bowl to check it out. It was good but decided to find something different for the big day. Calamari was tasty!! Decent white wines by the glass. Since I was there for work, I had a notebook that I was studying from and the bartender didn't look happy. But, he seemed kinda standoffish with the folks around me so I didn't take it personally. Could've just been having an off day.

Yelp
Wife and I are in town at the tail end of our road trip. I looked on yelp for a brewery and this place popped up. Dog friendly with a back patio and four stars on yelp. Worth a visit from us. Host welcomed us immediately with a smile and welcome. Got us a nice spot on the back patio. Izzy, our waitress, came by moments later to welcome us and ask if we had any questions. She gave us her recommendations as far as drinks. Shared the guest beers on tap and was quick to get us our drinks and waters. Izzy continued to come by respectfully and always with a smile. When it came to suggestions of menu items she listed off three appetizers which one was the brussel sprouts. My wife and I love ordering brussel sprouts as appetizers and these were great. Not soggy. Had a crunch with the sliced almonds and fried onions on top. Highly recommend. My wife knew she wanted the New York steak right away. I took a lot longer with deciding what I wanted because there were so many appealing items on the menu. I settled on the meatloaf. Izzy recommended this and she was not wrong. It was great. Mashed potatoes are super tasty. Asparagus had a good chew. Meatloaf with bacon was superb. All the beers were spot on. Bottom line... go for the food... go for the beer options... and go because Izzy was an amazing server. One of the best my wife and I have ever had serve us.

Nina W.

Yelp
I like the outdoor seating and the fact that they are dog friendly (on the SLC health department approved dog patio seating list). However, I think the food items are hit and miss. My husband got the meatloaf and he loved it! He was raving about the flavor and how good it tasted. I got the cheeseburger with tots and the meat was overcooked and dry. I ate it but the burger definitely was not juicy and wasn't the best. I found it odd they didn't ask me how I wanted the meat cooked. Service: Slow. The server told me there was an event nearby so they were in a mad rush to get everyone out before the event started but I felt like we waited an extra long time to order.

Bailey E.

Yelp
Solid bar food. I recommend the pretzel braid appetizer and fried pickles--both well cooked and flavorful sauces. The portions on the dinner food part wasn't as excellent, and I didn't love the seasoning on the fiesta rice bowl I got. The service was good and our waitress was attentive. The patio is nice and has trees and lights for ambience. It appeared to be dog friendly.

Katie W.

Yelp
Squatters is a delicious brewery in the heart of Salt Lake. I had their Hef Baum (Hefeweizen) and a Squatters Bourbon burger with tater tots and it was delightful! The burger is cooked to your liking and is super thick. It has tons of flavor and is incredibly juicy. We were also able to upgrade a side of onion rings to an appetizer, and they were some of the best I've ever had. The server was friendly, fast, and good. The ambiance was fun and upbeat even for a Sunday morning. If you're from out of town, be aware that Utah has a weird law where restaurants can't serve alcohol before 11 AM. Also, street parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays!

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Great place plenty of options for dinner. The service was quick and efficient, food was good and the staff was friendly. The pretzel is my favorite I always love a good soft pretzel and cheese.

Heliana M.

Yelp
Decent place to get some bar food and beers! Tried the pulled pork and burger which went so well with their crunchy tater tots! Not a big fan of the soft pretzel and the kids Mac and cheese very very bland and the portion was way too big for a kids size but we packed to go and had leftovers at the airbnb another day! Beers were good and lovely atmosphere overall with clean bathrooms!

Clèm B.

Yelp
Simple and great brewery. I did not have a chance to try their beers but the selection looked really good. I stopped by for a quick lunch and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and efficient. The street tacos were good and fulfilling. And the cherry on top : you can choose the type of protein you want. I chose the tofu. If I have a chance, I will come back to try their beer!

Nycole R.

Yelp
If you ask any local beer connoisseur where to get a good drink, chances are they will include Squatters in their short list of recommendations. Rightfully so, since this is one of the most award-winning bars downtown. They know their stuff. My recent visit wasn't for the bar, but more so for the food. I had a delicious salad with grilled chicken and my wife had a cheeseburger and tots. Everything we ate was phenomenal. If we had more time, we might have stayed for some drinks, but we were hurrying to get to a show across the street. I was happy to see a variety of patrons here-including families with children. There is a dining area that you don't have to be 21 to eat in (you do have to be 21 to be at the bar, of course)...it's always nice to see options for people with kids.

Becca S.

Yelp
This COULD have been really good... if the food were hot. The ingredients were good, roasted poblano, avocado, bacon and chicken on a potato bun. But it wasn't hot. It was barely warm. The tots were crunchy but slightly over room temperature and quickly cold. And it wasn't because it was sitting out for a while, the plate came out in record time. I could see into the kitchen, the chicken was obviously precooked and reheated on the grill, but it needs to be properly heated! The only thing I saw them cooking fresh were burgers, lots of standing around and gabbing in the kitchen. And it was over half full, early on a Saturday evening. The flavors were good, but it didn't taste fresh and you would have thought that I had had a 20 minute drive with it instead of 5 ft from the kitchen. It was cold and rainy and this was just disappointing. The service was mediocre. Too bad, a bit more effort and it could have easily been 4 stars instead of 2.

Patrick S.

Yelp
Popular for locals and downtown visitors. This staple has been in salt lake for years. Consistently good. Decent selection of beers and wine and a couple of ciders. Lots of beer! Food options change up every so often which adds some character. We had the bison burger with tots cooked medium which was super tasty. The Colorado chili now was delicious and cheesy. Chin is of pork and chili over torts and topped with eggs your way. A really nice cream and just a bit of spice. Enough to make your mouth vibrate. Service is ok. Nothing stellar but she got the job done. Lots of bar top, indoor and outdoor seating and great for larger groups.

Jerry N.

Yelp
Wow. If we would have went here early in the week, we would have eaten here every day! Gretchen was a very hard working. The brewery is full. She is on it! Very attentive. And sweet. Lots of options in drinks. I'd choose beer. But wine is flowing. We had a hard time deciding with the menu. Fish, salmon, pork shoulder, oh, the pizza looks fabulous. The special was a Cajun salmon with spicy aioli. But we chose the salmon with lemon and farrow. I chose the pork shoulder with an apricot chutney over real potato mash. And we had a flight of beer. All delicious! And we could not resist the chocolate peanut butter pie and an Irish stout chocolate brownie. Oh gosh. I'm stuffed. I would totally be back tomorrow if my flight wasn't scheduled. Gretchen, you're a rock star. Thank you for taking care of us, oh! And the whole back room. Yes, the place is huge. We didn't even go upstairs. But they have lots of room. Definitely recommend going here. Look for the big red sign on the side of the building for Squatters.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This is your typical bar food type place. It's not bad, but not great. They have a good selection of drinks which was nice, and the staff was friendly, but the food was a 2 out of 5. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which was very mediocre. The fries were also the same. Nothing memorable

Reiley H.

Yelp
I really like that this place offers 50¢ tasters for the beer. I was able to try a few before selecting the Wasatch apricot beer. It was refreshing and fruity. The artichoke cheese dip was a good appetizer and fun to try. I liked the warm pita bread that came with it.

Zach C.

Yelp
Food and service was great and loved the atmosphere! I rate my bison burger 5 stars and fries a solid 4. I personally didn't care for the ahi tuna salad that my wife had. I'm picky of fish though since I live on the coast. It was a 2-3 to me. Server was very friendly and did a great job helping us pick out beers. I would highly recommend this place for burgers/sandwiches and pub fare.

Raquel C.

Yelp
The service was good at the bar, definitely a busy place even on a weekday. The ambiance is casual and quite loud. The food was good though. I was very impressed with the Lambert burger, the Gorgonzola crumbles made it! Beer flights are always a great option. I recommend checking this place out.

S W.

Yelp
This is a great brewery that is located in Downtown SLC. They have a few sister locations elsewhere in Utah and and the airport, but for some weird marketing idea, they do not appear on the Squatters website and they all have different names. I have visited for brunch on the weekends, and the burgers and mac and cheese during the day. The food is fresh and savory, the burgers are thick, and the drinks are very tasty and refreshing. The building Sqatters is located in is really interesting. The main area is very open and standard pub/brewery style. The restrooms are in the basement, and the stills are upstairs. Service is always great. Our server was also the bartender but found time to step away and have a bit of a conversation with us, and was happy to answer any questions we had. Definitely recommend this place if you are hungry for bar food or thirsty for a drink.

Kristin L.

Yelp
My husband and I are so glad we chose Squatters for our date night because we enjoyed our food and the service was quick and efficient! We came in on a Saturday night around 7:30PM and were seated immediately at a bar table for two, despite it being pretty busy! Our server was quick and on point the entire night! We started with the spinach artichoke dip appetizer, and it was the first time both of us had a spinach artichoke dip with sour cream mixed in; it was DELICIOUS! It added a delightfully creamy texture while not being too heavy on the sour cream taste. The bread that came with it was phenomenal. Soft, slightly chewy and barely seasoned in order to allow the dip flavor to shine. We would literally come back just for this appetizer. My husband ordered an old fashioned drink, which came with coffee as a mixed-in ingredient. He wasn't too sure about it, but our waitress assured him it was only a subtle hint of it. She was definitely right, and he absolutely enjoyed it! I ordered my cheeseburger with tots and I'm so glad I did! The cheeseburger itself was tasty, but nothing spectacular. One thing I absolutely loved was the fact that they had all the vegetables on the side when it came out; I didn't even have to ask! It allowed me to be able to pick and choose which vegetables I wanted on my burger, and, as a picky eater, I really appreciated that! (Sometimes it's the little details that matter!) My tots were perfectly crisp and they provided a pretty hefty portion of them! Again, nothing spectacular, but still really good. My husband ordered the New York Strip and was pleasantly surprised as how much he ended up liking the gorgonzola mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy! He's not a fan of the taste of gorgonzola cheese and doesn't typically enjoy mushrooms, so he wasn't sure if he'd regret not choosing fries as his side. However, he said the overall flavor of the mashed potatoes wasn't heavy on the gorgonzola (aside from a few small chunks of it mixed in) and the mushroom gravy added a hearty richness that paired well with the other flavors. He asked for his steak to be cooked medium (he prefers medium rare but tends to overshoot to avoid a rare cook), and it came out medium rare. He also enjoyed the vegetables; nothing stood out about them but nothing was unenjoyable about them either. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, and while parts of it were good but not necessarily amazing, we were in no way disappointed and have already planned to come back for more of the spinach artichoke dip and to try other entrée items, as we trust that anything Squatters makes is sure to be tasty.

Julie C.

Yelp
I stopped by this place on the first day of my visit to Salt Lake City. I had a really cool, friendly bartender, who is a local and works during the day. Every drink I tried here was made very well. My favorite was the espresso martini. I learned about the restaurant law that if you order more than one drink you have to also order food. I ordered a delicious brownie dessert. I really recommend this place. I would say go during the day and hopefully you get the same bartender that I had who makes delicious drinks and has excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Michael C.

Yelp
While in town for a meeting, we went wandering from our hotel to see what options existed in the area. Squatters from the outside looked like a friendly and inviting opportunity and we could preview their offerings from their menu posted doorside. Upon entering we were transported to an extremely lively environment one in which we would have waited quite a while to be seated. Instead, we opted for the last 2 chairs at the very end of the bar. At that end of the room, was a lovely outside patio that would be our first choice should we return (and weather permitting) as it would have been at least 20 db's quieter. But after all is said and done, the atmosphere of the place was conducive to fun and groups definitely were enjoying ourselves, as we were about to experience. Before I get to the meat (yes, pun intended) of this review, let me share a few thoughts about the staff. Sitting at the bar gave us a birds eye view of the kitchen and the wait staff prepping, interacting and delivering service to patrons. Truly impressive is how I describe the scene, almost making the routine of work in the hospitality industry into a floor show, or art performance. The staff all performed incredibly well, performing small tasks that prepped for the execution of delivery and backing each other up. The interaction between server and cooks was entertaining and it felt like they all liked each other. Truly impressive. As the name states, the brewery does deliver. From the Hop Rising to the Outer Darkness the flavors and consistency of these offerings was terrific. So was the food. The options for selections are large, so there is something for everyone. Our choices for the visit included the quinoa and arugla salad and the bacon topped meatloaf (sans the bacon as I don't do pork). The salad was much more than we expected, a meal in of itself, with a variety of toppings in addition to the main ingredients. The meatloaf was cooked perfectly, a thick piece of ground chuck with nice asparagus stalks, perfectly cooked, neither over or underdone atop a large portion of mashed potatoes. The load was drizzled with gravy and topped by freshly fried onion straws. We also had wanted to try the pub pretzel, but as you can imagine, we had PLENTY of good food already; so our next trip will begin with that as a must do!

Tianna T.

Yelp
Friday night dinner was great! The game was on, food and drinks were fast and delicious. We got seated quickly and staff were very friendly. The menu was huge, portions good and prices are reasonable. Would definitely return.

Dane S.

Yelp
Service at the bar was ok. We had a SLC Beer Pass. Bartender stated we had to order food to use it. Is in the very fine print. But he didn't even offer us a menu. The beer was overpriced at $8. Most comparable establishments would charge $6. We ordered the Spank Dank and the Irish Red. They were alright but nothing special. Maybe a 2 or 2 1/2 stars.

Orest S.

Yelp
Squatters Pub Brewery offers a great selection of local beers, including the option to order a beer flight. Housed in the historic Salt Lake Brewing Co. building, the atmosphere is calm and laid-back, even on a Sunday night. It's a perfect spot to enjoy a pint, and they also have a patio for outdoor seating.

Sherry F.

Yelp
Good food and service. I really enjoyed the turkey burger. I'll be sure to order it the next time I visit.

Loren R.

Yelp
I liked the atmosphere the best. Busy active. Light. Long bar and bar seating for spontaneous visits. I had Hefeweizen. It was a cloudy good different take on my favorite beer. I'd order it again. My wings were touted as good. I thought them average. And the ranch? I asked for tasted nothing like ranch... I didn't use it. I had the nachos also. It was pretty heavy on chips and light on the sour cream guacamole olives and cheese. I expected something more gourmet American due to the hype. Maybe they focus on their entrees. Maybe they're coasting on reputation Will I visit again. Yes. But only after I try a lot of other options first.

Joye B.

Yelp
Bee Sting Honey Lavender Ale and Bison burger were amazing! Bourbon burger and tots were good. But best thing we had was the peanut butter chocolate pie. Sooooo tasty!!! Service was fast and KJ gave us good recommendations. It's a cute spot with great air conditioning for the 90+ temps outside. Highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area and looking for some good food

Steve S.

Yelp
Stopped here for a late lunch and some drinks while in town for a conference. Food, drinks and service were all good. I couldn't capture all the food we had at our table but everyone loved their meals. Beers were OK, I'm a bit of a beer aficionado and understand I'm in Utah, so OK is pretty good!

Jenna B.

Yelp
Not very busy at ~9pm on a Saturday evening. It's a huge space with plenty of seating for any size group, and a patio in the back as well. I just went in for food, got the Squatter's Burger and wedge fries. The burger was slightly overdone and dry, but it had caramelized onions that I would have loved twice as many of. The wedge fries were piping hot and well seasoned. All in all decent bar food meal. Service was friendly and prompt, they checked on me a few times and my water glass never hit empty.

Michael I.

Yelp
Night 1- ordered bourbon burger TO-GO. No caramelized onions. Also asked for lettuce tomato and pickle, there was no pickle. Fries were cold and only had one packet of ketchup. Day 2( 1/2/2025)- 60's (okay maybe 55degrees), sunny, clear day in DOWTOWN Salt Lake City. Advertised pet friendly. They are not. Many other places told me they have side entrance for patio. However, they would not let me sit there. Ended up at Handle Bars which is pet friendly, open patio, and delicious food!!

nick c.

Yelp
Great food! Great service by Gretchen who handled out large party of 25 with efficiency friendliness and accuracy. Mariah did a great job of arranging out visit on a very busy night. Easily recommend this place for good food and a good time.

Grace B.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place near our hotel, it was the perfect meal after a long work day. Fried pickles were amazing- crisp and the sauce was homemade with chunks of veggies in it! I had the Smashburger sliders with tots, sauce for the tots was also super good. Plenty of beers on tap to choose from!

Nh R.

Yelp
Been here a couple times now... each time seems better than the last. Courtney was fabulous! She was attentive, kind and brought every food item with a smile! We need more Courtneys in this world!!

Shelly P.

Yelp
Food? Meh. Had the pepperoni pizza, added sausage. Crust a bit underdone. But Lordy, the service. Our server lacked enthusiasm, but as I watched the two at the hostess stand shoot the #%^% in a totally packed restaurant as tables went uncleared, and they continued to just talk. I'd be salty too.

John F.

Yelp
The people there that worked were extremely helpful and very nice. But I will say the Utah laws are just ridiculous and downright stupid, and they were very apologetic for the laws run by the Mormons.

Jacob M.

Yelp
I love this place it is actually my favorite restaurant in Utah and I go almost once a week the food and service here is top notch my favorite is the Pub Ruben and an India Pale Ale squatters never disappoints me

Leann H.

Yelp
Squatters Pub Brewery is exactly what a brewery should be. Good food, extensive menu, great beer, excellent service, and warming atmosphere. The menu runs the gamut so there is something for everybody. We ordered nachos, fried pickles, a salad with tofu, stir fry, and a burger - so you really can have it all, food-wise. The space was large and the staff were very attentive and helpful. I would go back.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch. Excellent selection of brews although I didn't get to sample any. The Ruben had great flavor but a little skimpy on meat. Nice atmosphere with a fire place for those Utah evenings service was adequate

Sylvia S.

Yelp
If we have time we always stop and get nachos at Squatters when we're in the SLC airport. It's a little confusing now because there seem to be multiple locations with different brewery names on different concourses. The service was good despite them being short staffed. The heaping plate of carnitas nachos easily fed two of us. They weren't as hot as usual, but they were still very tasty with all the fixings you want in a plate of nachos. We love that they don't hurry you out the door there, so you can relax over a beer and make the best of a long layover. We usually have the polygamy porter, but there was a new dark beer on special that, gratefully, had nothing to do with pumpkin. If you're looking for good food and a relaxing place away from your gate wander down to Wasatch Brewing or whatever name it's going by on your concourse.

Yelp
Squatters Pub Brewery was a brewery I went to while on a lengthy road trip and I passed through Salt Lake on the way to my destination and on the way home. On one of my visits I got their Slippery Otter which was a vanilla porter. The beer was very good and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked the vanilla and the richness flavor highlights with this porter. On both visits I got a cup of their Buffalo Chili which was really good. It was very flavorful but not too spicy either. It was definitely comfort food and it really hit the spot during both of my stops here. I had the same waiter on both visits which the passage of time in-between both visits was maybe about ten days. Both visits he was awesome, friendly and very approachable on both occasions. I like this Squatters location as it's open a little bit later than many restaurants in the area and the food is definitely solid! Good experiences at this location!

Yelp
Stopped in here while traveling based on recommendations, was glad we did! Came during a non peak time and the bar service was great Argyle was prompt and courteous. I had their chili and forgot to photo, but it was fantastic- hot the spot as a late lunch. We also had the chips with dips, all were good. Great beer choices, I went for theirs, not the guests.
