The Dharmasthala Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple is my favorite temple, and I have visited it many times. This revered and historic Hindu temple, located in Karnataka, India, is managed by a Jain Bunt family and served by Madhwa Brahmins, creating a harmonious blend of Jain and Hindu traditions. The temple's serene and spiritual atmosphere, beautiful architecture, and well-maintained surroundings are truly captivating. It is not only a place of worship but also a hub of charitable activities, including free meals served to thousands of devotees daily. The annual Lakshadeepa festival, which illuminates the temple with countless lamps, is a major attraction. Additionally, the nearby Bahubali statue and the Manjusha Museum, housing ancient artifacts, add to the cultural richness of the area. The temple's religious significance, cultural heritage, and the warm hospitality of the local community make it a must-visit destination for spiritual seekers and tourists alike. My frequent visits have only deepened my appreciation for this magnificent temple. 🕉 🛕

Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple is a sacred and divine place where spirituality meets selfless service. No words can truly capture its significance—the more we speak about it, the less it feels. The temple, dedicated to Lord Manjunatha, radiates peace and devotion, attracting thousands of devotees daily. The Anna prasadam served here is a testament to the temple’s commitment to Dharma and charity. The stunning architecture, along with the serene surroundings, enhances the spiritual experience. A visit to Dharmasthala is not just about seeking blessings but also about witnessing the true essence of faith, tradition, and service.

How would I Review a Temple. I don't know. Lots of devotees during summers - peak season. Definitely try Buns for breakfast when at Dharmasthala. Better book rooms before arrival to be on the safer side. It took us an hour for the Darshan (weekday-Jan 2025).

Sri Manjunatha Shiva Temple of Shaiva is worshipped by Dwaita Vaishnavas and facilities managed by Jains such is the unity of OneDivinityInAll Sanatan thought faith here.If you are unwell sick aged limited by health ,meet main office and really genuine cases elders will be lifted by chair lift for direct darshan.Honestly many unfit like me too avoid this to stand in Q of Tapasya to meet the Ultimate Tapasvi Lird Shiva Manjunatha.Facilities for stay food at RajaTadri Sahyadri etc guest houses are v good .Approach enquiry office on main road right after you cross the Arched Welcome Gate .Or turn left slope encircling the circle to directly go to them.Dress open chest cover legs .

The temple is amazing, big and wonderful, powerful place.. Most horrible experience is the 4 hours queue... queue is very tiresome After 4 hours I saw most mesmerizing idol of Sri manjunatha 😍😍😍 Its very long queue and tiresome ,your energy will start to deplete very soon .. But don't worry temple person will give eatables...( not free) like fruits,, biscuits, juices etc... All peoples around world comes to visit this temple I strongly recommend everyone to visit this temple....

A walk .. a long orderly walk almost looks alike a maze.. is what it is to reach the abode of the deity.. in front of the deity you are in its wavelength and everything else is oblivious. One of the most visited temples by its numerous devotees.. it's all peace and serenity encompassing. The only drawback I found was the mess created till a certain point where the devotees have thrown the empty snack packets and water bottles . No proper dustbin has been provided for the disposable of this waste. There is a place for footwear to be collected. And the staff behind the counters are volunteering. Counters for tokens for prasada and arthi. Lodges and shops fulfilling the daily requirement of the visiting devotees

Dharmasthala Temple (Kṣētra Dharmasthala) is an 800-year-old. Hindu religious institution in the temple town of Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, India. The deities of the temple are Hindu godShiva, who is referred to as Mañjunatha, Hindu goddess Ammanavaru, the Tirthankara Chandraprabha and the protective gods of Jainism, Kalarahu, Kalarkayi, Kumarasvami and Kanyakumari. The temple was reconsecrated in 16th century by Hindu Dvaita saint Vadiraja Tirtha by the request of the then administrator of the temple, Devaraja Heggade. The temple is considered unique, since the priests in the temple are Madhwa Brahmins, who are Vaishnava, and the administration is run by a Jain Bunt family called the Pergades.

Very badly managed. 5 hours waiting in a queue. Very suffocating. Once you enter the queue, you can't get out . Any time a stampede can happen and it's dangerous. Puja and all very costly, only at buying counter you know puja costs 1500 rs . Had a horrible experience. I have been to at least 60 temples , but such a bad experience first time.
