Comfortable Stay at Sri Lanta – Great Beach, Relaxing Vibes Sri Lanta is a very comfortable hotel with excellent facilities and super friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, though a bit worn in places. The balconies could use a bit of improvement, and the cleanliness in some shared spaces could be better, but overall, we were happy with our stay. The highlight was definitely the beach—absolutely stunning—and the sea was just beautiful. The pools were great too and were cleaned daily. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, though it would’ve been nice if the selection changed up a bit. One downside was that the beach bar and restaurant were pretty quiet in the evenings—it would’ve been lovely if they had a livelier vibe to match the location.

This was not an easy review to write as it was such a wide range of experiences it's difficult to capture them all. Overall I would say this is a frustrating place that could be so much better if it had some investment in it and better management.|| Regarding that last comment I cannot believe just how invisible the management were during our five day stay. We didn't see anybody of seniority walking around the resort or Reception and I found this amazing. We have stayed here several times before and it really is sad to see just it has declined over the years.||For example, many areas used to be fantastic but are now rundown and very scruffy indeed. Every day we saw lots of people who were not guests at the hotel using the Sun loungers and nobody seem to care at all. They were also in the pool And creating chaos whilst not even paying to be in the hotel.||The restaurant and bar area were also a mess. We found glasses in the sand and tables were left uncleared for ages despite there being lots of staff who seemed more interested in playing music on their phone and giggling with each other.||I could go on but it was more of the same and I'm afraid to say it was reflected in the hotel itself. This was once a pristine resort with beautiful suites and grounds that has no been allowed to go to rack and ruin. We had a cloud suite which was lovely and spacious with everything you needed for a comfortable stay but the balcony was dangerous as it had rotted away and they had simply banged on a piece of plywood to fix it. Everywhere looks unloved and it Rapidly needs to have some investment to restore it to its former glory.||Having said all this, we had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay there. I know that seems contradictory but because it was so classy at one time it still has a lot of things going for it and we would stay there again if things improved.||The rooms are big and comfortable, they have effective air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfortable and although the room servicing with was patchy where they would forget to leave us water, toilet rolls etc our overall experience of staying there was pretty good.||Hopefully this review will be seen as constructive criticism as we do like this hotel and feel it could be so much better with stronger and visible management.

Superb room and service. It was a very refreshing experience and we enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. The service at the reception desk was professional and easily understandable and the deposit was handled well. We found a dead gecko in our room though, but that was easily removed. Try to make sure the technical issues have been sorted before the stay, like the water temperature, to minimise the need for requests after moving in. Will come again, thank you :)

A very comfortable hotel with good facilities and very helpful and nice staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated but little worn out, balconies in hotel rooms could be better and cleanliness of some shared spaces little better, but overall we were happy with our stay at Sri Lanta. The absolutely best was the beach and beautiful sea and pools were also nice - cleaned daily. The breakfast is yummy with many choices - but the selection could be changed a bit. Shame that in the evenings the beach bar and restaurant are empty - would be nice if they were more lively.

The location of the store is very easy to find and access in Koh Lanta. The price is reasonable. The equipment is in very good condition. The boat is very comfortable. The breakfast, lunch, and snacks/drinks were all excellent. The staff were friendly and very professional and knowledgeable. One of the people in our snorkeling group was very inexperienced, and not a very strong swimmer. The staff member that worked with her was very attentive, caring, encouraging, and clear. We appreciated that a lot. We enjoyed the whole experience very much.

Beautiful room and nice beach area! The cleanliness could be improved for sure since the bathroom has odor, the pool is a bit dirty and the room cleaning is not done if not asked personally haha But we loved the beachfront, a perfect sunset view. Also, the room was very spacious, the bed was very comfy, and the bathtub was great. There’s a bit of walking involved since it’s up on a hill, - good exercise!

It was unfortunate that despite how the photos were advertised, if not all of the rooms we stayed at seemed to be poorly maintained. I understand Koh Lanta is quite a secluded location so perhaps the need to oversees the upkeep was not a priority but it was just disappointing when we were shifted from the bungalow to the normal building to finally what looked like the family suite. Even when the aircon broke and water was leaking onto the seats, it turns out housekeeping was only opened during business hours therefore if you require anything replaced or cleaned it'll have to wait till the next day. Yet with all the inconveniences and let down on the rooms, the staff and manager were absolutely amazing. They really tried to help us even when moving us from room to room when we found issues, hence, the 3 stars. If the hotel can renovate the entire place and keep the lovely staff it would make a huge difference.

It’s a difficult one as the staff, particularly the manager of the resort - Pop - was extremely helpful throughout our stay and had exceptional customer service. Thank you Pop. However, onto the reasons why we had to converse with him on several occasions… very tired rooms, a lack of hot water and broken bathtubs. All rectified by Pop very swiftly however I’d only recommend this resort if you choose the budget friendly room options. The upgrades - in my opinion - are simply not worth it.
