Horrible service and complete disrespect for customers
We visited Saint Bernard Restaurant in Tamborine Mountain and had an awful experience from beginning to end.
We were a group of friends, and when we placed our orders, the young blonde waitress didn’t repeat anything back to confirm. We trusted that she got it right, but clearly she didn’t. Later we found out we had been charged for the most expensive dishes on the menu, even though we had ordered something completely different.
When the food and drinks started arriving, we noticed multiple mistakes – wrong dishes, wrong coffee sizes – and every time we tried to say something, the waitress got visibly angry, made rude faces, slammed doors, and treated us as if we were the ones who made a mistake, when it was clearly their fault. Her attitude was aggressive and completely unprofessional.
We asked to speak to the manager, but unfortunately, she was just as rude and unhelpful. She refused to correct anything and simply said we had to accept what was brought and what was charged – even though it was clearly not what we ordered.
The entire experience felt disrespectful and even xenophobic, as we are international visitors and were made to feel very unwelcome. This restaurant has no sense of customer service and no interest in treating people fairly.
We do not recommend this place to anyone.
