St Catwgs Church Gelligaer

A pleasant churchyard and church near the old Roman fort. Worth walking through if you're passing as there are a couple paths going through it.

A small and basic church, with no purchasable items or onsite parking. Huge land area of grave sites behind church grounds, which can be visited by car via neighbouring road of Castle Hill.

Went to a funeral of a very dear Aunty. The church is of traditional 13th/14th Century building. The surrounding area is precarious in area's of the uneven pathing and the burial ground is on a slope so be careful with your footings

Great church. called on 'visiting ancestor churches'.On hearing this, the women doing the flowers dropped everything to get out records and helped me look.

Beautiful stone church, friendly parishioners.
