St. Clair Brown Winery & Brewery is a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. The wine and drink selections are fantastic, and the vibe is cozy and inviting—perfect for a fun, laid-back outing!

This is a unique experience. It’s one of the only, if not the only place around that is a brewery and winery. They are vegan friendly and earth friendly. They grow so many things here and they have a beautiful little space to enjoy it all. The menu is creative and the food was delicious. We didn’t have reservations this time but they sat us anyways and were super delightful. If you’re in Napa and looking for a different experience, this is your place.

Google
Great vibe at this place that serves wine and beer pairings. You can also order beer and wine by the glass or for the table. Actual distillery and winery across the street. Food also served. We had the duck rillet and a veggie type rillet made from hummus and topped with a lemon concoction. Both were amazing. Also had almonds with a fine lemon zest and olives with. Very friendly wait staff. Blown away by all of it. If you're a visitor this is a great break from the wine madness. Totally chill at St. Claire's

My favorite tasting room in Napa. They have a beautiful garden where you can sit to enjoy your beer or wine. Nice staff, great ambiance, good prices, beautiful story.

Google
Oh my goodness, this winery is beautiful! It was nice for our family vacation because we had not planned far into the future and flew by the seat of our pants. This winery is great for those who do not have time to make an appointment for a winery further in the valley. The location could be better, but it's nice that their stock house is directly across the street so they have easy access to their wines. Sometimes loud cars were distracting, as was the wine tour train that crossed by, but those distractions can easily be forgotten within the view of the garden. Their garden is organic and contains various herbs, fruits, and veggies. They are kind enough to allow customers to eat any crop that looks appealing, and I ended up trying their tomatos. So delicious! Many of their dishes are made with the ingredients they grow, and it really makes for a great experience in Napa. Another perk to this place is that they allow dogs, so feel free to bring your furry friends to enjoy the evening with you!

Google
Loved this urban winery! The organic garden surrounds private tables where you can split a bottle of wine with your group. Owner is such a friendly and fabulous lady! The cheese tray with local honey and freshly made pickles is to die for.

This is such a little oasis. The garden was such a lovely spot to enjoy a great Kolsch. Elaine and her team were so welcoming and hospitable.

Google
A great concept. Pretty gardens, plenty of wines to try, a relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed samplings of white and red wines alongside homemade hummus and tacos from the visiting Pico Modern truck. The owner invited us to sample from the garden, so I plucked tomatoes and lemon basil and had a delightful little snack. We'd come back.

Yelp
I LOVE St. Clair Brown! I tried out this urban winery & brewery from personal recommendation and let me tell you, I immediately joined and had a special event there! Aesthetic - 10/10 Such a beautiful urban garden right in downtown Napa. There is something so calming about sipping on your glass of wine (or beer) while smelling basil and admiring beautiful fruit and vegetables growing all around you. The greenhouse is definitely my aesthetic and I recommend this hot spot to everyone who comes in town! Staff - 10/10 I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff at St. Clair Brown is. It is so heartwarming when you see similar faces at each visit and they start to recognize you and catch up, so personal! Everyone is passionate about their beverages and so knowledgable. Wine, beer, mocktails, and food - 10/10 There has not been a single wine or beer that I have tried here that I have not loved (and I consider myself to be quite picky, especially with white wines). We are members here now because we love the benefit of coming in for a glass of wine on the weekends and their 2 bottles every other month is so approachable and a fun reminder to come visit. It's also hard to find a cute spot in Napa that covers wine and beer so well so you can really please the whole crowd! We even have a lavender lemonade lover in our house who begs to visit on the weekends! When in downtown Napa, keep St. Clair Brown on your shortlist to visit!

Yelp
Easy street parking and very friendly staff. The wine is more on the acidic side, which is not something we particularly preferred. The zero proof beverages I would describe as kombucha. I'm glad I tried the flight, but it would probably switch one out for a lemonade next time! They normally hold their tastings in a garden, but once it gets windy, they will serve you at their cellar.

Yelp
This was a cute space that allowed for reservations within 24 hours. We were staying in Vallejo so it's fairly close considering the distance to other venues and was worth the 30 min drive. Aiden (sp?) was hosting us and was extremely informative! We appreciated learning about how our wines were made and how they differed from other wineries in the area. I'd keep this venue in our back pocket. I can see it expanding.

Yelp
My daughter and I completely enjoyed our wine tasting adventure at St. Clair Brown's. It was the highlight of my trip to Napa. The atmosphere and mediterranean style garden (by the summer tasting room) was charming. It reminded me of the trellis and citrus gardens in Italy. Once inside the winter tasting room, I enjoyed the hint of freshly cut herbs. Our host Aidan was excellent. He helped us choose different tasting selections and delicious appetizers, so we'd have more to taste. Best of all was his poetic description of each wine, which greatly enhanced the tasting experience. The true test was that it's the best tasting wine of any place we visited. It's so good that it is the only place that I bought a bottle of wine from. Thank you again to the whole staff at St Clair Brown Winery.

Yelp
This is a cute little winery/brewery. Love options especially, if someone your with loves beer more than wine. Sitting area is outside; immersed around the gardens. You can see the vegetation growing around you. Glass of wine is pretty pricey averaging around $20. Beer tasting average $25. The staff is very friendly and you can tell workers love what they do. Limited snack options for food; if there were more food options I could have sat there all day.

Yelp
Napa is wine country and the town is chock full of tasting rooms. This one is different. It's *outside* and on a warm late autumn afternoon, it was nice to sit in their outside space and enjoy a wind down before working on dinner. My friend is a member here and so we got the member price. That's a nice discount over what is otherwise a not-inexpensive tasting. Fabulous service and a friendly host who poured, explained and gave us the wonderful history of this space. I went with the beer sampler and because they only brew small amounts, your options may change from week to week. Today, a Kölsch-style ale, a Märzen and a Brown ale. All delicious. With it, we enjoyed their hummus with house-made crackers. Delightful with a lemon zest mixed through, it went well with the beer. Sitting in a garden with a citrus tree, fresh herbs and a big lavender bush, you can almost not be in downtown Napa. [Review 21017 overall - 533 in California - 2002 of 2023.]

Yelp
What I thought was neat: -Possibly the only place that serves both beer and wine in Napa -Big open tasting room -I like that they serve food here and zero proof drinks too What I wasn't crazy about: -Server was very polite but it really seemed like she was the only one working there. (We were here with a party of 16 and there was at least 20 other people hanging out there.) She worked very hard but the short staffing made service very slow. -Really damn cold in here. I appreciate them placing space heaters but I nearly needed to sit on top of one to be comfortable.

Yelp
Great wines and Cheese's highly recommend. It's a very small cute place where you can taste wines. We really liked the Syrah the best but everything was good.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely love this place. We went earlier this year I believe and their brewery was open, but not the garden. We still had a great time inside and had a couple of red ales and a cheeseboard. Caitlin was amazing and recommended some other stuff for us to try. We ended up leaving with a bottle. We came back a couple weeks ago for the Fourth of July to enjoy the gardens with my family and we were amazed how gorgeous it was especially with the little open air garden house. Caitlin hosted our wine tasting again and we had so much fun. We enjoyed the shade and the breeze and she even let us taste this licorice tasting plant. Highly recommend this friendly, good vibes women owned winery/brewery!

Yelp
Saxton our wine host was more than great but awesome. We enjoyed the tasting room downtown. Make a reservation before coming a few days in advance. The wine tasting patio was full on a Saturday. Saxton was enthusiastic, friendly, intuitive, interested, and knows his wines. We could tell he loves food and wine. It shows. He shared the history of the wines, where the grapes are sourced and shared his favorites and why with us. He is personable and natural yet professional and down to Earth. We loved our host. The owner Clair Brown was on site with a smile to welcome guests at the bar when you check in. It made the experience more intimate knowing the wine maker is in the house! She is apparently the first female wine maker with a viticulture major educated at a local UC. St Clair is known for their Red, the most known being their Syrah. It's laid back , balanced, smooth and more food friendly than other Syrahs. It is a very friendly wine. You aren't forced to pair this one with bbq or chops. It isn't exploding with sweetness ,with spices , or overly tannic. In that way it is unique in its own right. The outdoor tasting garden patio is situated across its warehouse on the opposite corner ;it's dog friendly and kid friendly. I highly highly recommend St. Clair. Their wines are not widely distributed so when you buy you know it's not available all over the globe or even at other local wine distribution centers or establishments. Go !

Yelp
I came to napa for 3 days and it was filled with multiple winery tours and tasting experiences. However everyone I was with said that hands down the best experience of the trip was actually at St. Clair Brown. The service was above and beyond- they included us in the "blessing of the grapes", brough us fresh tomatos and strawberries from the garden, and created a truly wonderful experience. Shoutout to Aidan and Caitlin! It was clear how much passion and love they have for this business and they helped us love it too!

Yelp
I love that this place is run by two women and everything is produced locally! I had a reservation on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. They have patio seating next to their garden and a parking lot as well. We did the wine tasting that had two whites and two reds. I'm typically more of a red fan, but my favorite was the Chardonnay! We also got the cheese board because who can resist cheese?? The rose jelly was such a treat and I loved all of the cheeses as well. They said they had to go containers if necessary, but we finished it pretty quick. After the wine tasting, they asked if we wanted to revisit anything and I was able to try one of their beers! This would be a nice place to come for a glass or two and some snacks if that's possible.

Yelp
This continues to be my favorite spot. Upbeat chill playlist, nice service, and the garden is lovely. We're members here so we get a free beer when we come by.

Yelp
This review is for wine tasting but at the St. Clair Brown "cellar." We scheduled a wine tasting here because they are a dog friendly winery and we had our pups with us. While it was a cool sunny winter day, we (and the dogs) were dressed for the cooler weather. We fully expected to be seated outside in the garden but upon arriving a sign by the garden said that the wine tasting would be indoors at their "cellar" across the street due to the day's temperature (mid 50s). The "cellar" was really their indoor brewery location where they had a handful of tables inside and two small tables just outside the door. The brewery was sparse and had an industrial vibe. It didn't feel like a place to have a wine tasting. Dogs were allowed inside but we chose to sit outside at one of the two small tables. Our server was very nice and provided great service. She was knowledgeable about the small boutique winery. The pickled persimmons were great. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but it was disappointing to have the tasting at their "cellar" (brewery) rather than at their normal outdoor garden and greenhouse. The garden looked well kept, and nice. It didn't feel like we got the true experience which we were hoping for. Had we known beforehand that the tasting would be at the brewery, we might have gone somewhere else but the wine tasting reservation requires prepayment. If you book a wine tasting here on a cool day, just be aware that they may move the tasting indoors to their brewery rather than at their nice outdoor garden.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, super chill. Amazing service! Thanks Saxton! We got the wine tasting option, the cheese board, and also the lavender bergamot lemonade. The cheese board came with 3 types of cheeses, rose jelly, pistachios, and crackers. The lemonade tasted great, it wasn't too tart and has a nice lavender taste that's not too overpowering. The merlot was so good we had to get a bottle to go. Their wines are also not widely distributed, so if you enjoy their stuff, make sure to order a few bottles! They are also dog friendly!

Yelp
Amazing spot! New fave place in Napa. Caitlyn was very welcoming and gave us the best recommendations. This place is gorgeous. Delicious beers and wines. Woman owned, great ambience (edible gardens). Will be back often. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great spot! Fun outdoor seating area! Their roasted almonds are a delicious compliment to the beers. It was a warm day out and decided to do the beer tasting rather than wine tasting and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
Amazing! I was driving around Napa Valley looking for a winery that fit my style and once I stumbled upon this cute place I knew this was it. Everything was perfect from the wine tasting to the delicious farm to table food and the ambience. Highly recommend! Will definitely return when visiting this area again. So good! We tried the wine tasting sampler, cheese board, pork rillette, pj special with walnut bread, citrus pistachio bark, and lavender bergamot lemonade. 5 out of 5!

Yelp
My bf and I just visited and were served by Aidan. We had a very good time, enjoyed the garden and beautiful weather. Aidan was attentive and even let us try fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden, this really added to everything. We loved the place and plan to make it a regular stop, the only thing was that it is pricey.

Yelp
We visited during a weekend d stay to celebrate our daughter's birthday. She moved to Napa a year ago and found At. CLAIR Brown's. Glad she did, because our tasting as absolutely fantastic. The whole experience was exceptional. The beers & wines we tasted, olives, Roasted almonds and chocolate pairings were amazing. And, Lisa (and ALL the people) are exceptionally knowledgeable. Additionally, they are extraordinarily nice and not condescending at all. A delight to learn, taste and socialize! Highly recommended! PS. a bonus, if you are local, you can sign up for their club (as our daughter has) and get lots of bonuses.

Yelp
After going to two wonderful wineries earlier in the day, during our day trip to Napa, I can assure you that we had very high expectations. We found this little place on a spur of the moment while attempting to book same day tasting for 9 people (talk about a mission). We booked and afternoon tour which would end our Napa trip, which was ultimately one of the best decisions we have ever made. We arrived at St. Claire's and we were immediately welcomed by Lisa. She advised that since we had made two separate reservations that the tables were separated; however, she quickly accommodated us. After sitting us down and confirming our tasting, the experience begun. We were treated to some of the best tasting wine I have ever had pleasure of having. Every single note, paring, and history was explained to us by Lisa. She told us the story about how she's a wine club member, turned groupie, turned helper during her Saturday, just because of how passionate she is about how the owners are changing the wine industry! She was the most sweet and kind person we could've encountered! Her presence and service made our entire experience. We came for the wine, but left with the most wonderful memories of our time with Lisa during our visit! P.s. try the moscat! It is the most wonderful and delicate finishing wine! You won't regret it!!

Yelp
Made a reservation for a wine tasting for a party of 6 on Sunday late afternoon. I'm not sure if a reservation was needed as there were plenty of tables and we were able to be seated right away. I appreciated that not everyone at the table had to get the same thing. Only two of us got the wine tasting, two got beer + wine tasting, and two opted for spirit free drinks. I wish I remembered the name of our host to give him the recognition he deserves. I'm gunna be real, I know nothing about wine. But our host was so enthusiastic and described the flavor profiles so well, it sounded like poetry. I felt like I was experiencing art in a way. For that reason I give it 5 stars. The tastings came with a very great portion size.

Yelp
Urban winery and brewery at its finest. The outdoor patio area is nice and your surrounded by their homegrown herbs/spices. Appointments are easy to make via telephone or email. Though they take about a day to reply to email. Wine tasting was $35 and the beer flight was $15. From the wines I liked the rosé the best. The beers were all light and crisp. Much needed on a summer day. The server was really attentive and nice. All of the tables are spread out for social distancing. Not too far of a walk from downtown.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise this place was. I made a last minute booking and honestly didn't know what to expect. The garden in the middle of downtown was such a fun casual setting. We enjoyed all the wines and nibbles we had but what we enjoyed even more was our service from Bailey! He had such a way to make you feel welcomed and his enthusiasm really made the experience.

Yelp
Was really excited to try this place out, however when we arrived, we were told we would be seated inside their warehouse because the garden was closed due to rain (Note: their website clearly states that outdoor reservations would be moved inside "in the event of rain", however, it wasn't raining, the sun was shining, and we were not alerted prior to arriving that our outdoor reservation was being moved inside..). We spoke to the front desk and said we had booked an outdoor seating, and were not interested in sitting inside. They told us no problem, they'd cancel our reservation and refund us the full deposit ($211). I waited a week for the refund and never received it, so I called St Clair to make sure it had gone through. I was reassured on the phone that the refund had been issued and that I should wait a few days for my bank to refund it. Another week passes, I still don't receive the refund, so I call (again), and am told (again, by a different employee) that the refund was being processed and I should receive it in a few days' time. TL;DR I never received the refund, and am now (2 months later) being told that I can use the credit for a future tasting.. This is totally different from what I was told in person and on the phone (twice!), where I was told the full deposit would be refunded. I don't live nearby, and based on my awful experience here so far, I don't think I'll ever come back. Would recommend trying one of the many other, better spots around town with better service.

Yelp
What do you do while sitting inside miserably on a sunny day? Reminisce on better times of wine drinking and hummus-eating in Napa, of course! I had bookmarked St Clair Brown because the wine looked yummy as did the eats. What I didn't realize is that this place would be so much cuter in person! It is a beautiful garden which they tend to diligently - actually they were working on it while we were there. The only disappointment was that I was hoping to try the Moscato, but it wasn't the season quite yet. Also for some reason I thought the hummus would come with some bomb bread, but it was only crackers. The crackers were really good though, and this is coming from someone who is not a cracker girl. The menu is not the largest because they seem to focus more on quality and freshness. We ordered the hummus because, interestingly enough, it is made with peanuts. The texture is a little different, although I was surprised it wasn't reminiscent of peanut butter at all (which is how I expected it to taste). They drizzled some lemon olive oil on top. Also, the large man with his adorable small dog (with a big personality) was the cherry on top the experience. This is a good place to grab a glass of wine with friends or even study. We witnessed someone doing some work here. I am not sure I would be able to concentrate with all the interesting ongoings. TLDR; cool spot.

Yelp
Great place to go for wine and brew tasting. Husband loves beer and I love wine. We get to have best of both worlds in one place. Staff was so friendly and the place was so clean.

Yelp
I'm not sure who St. Clair Brown is, but I imagine she must be pretty rad to have this awesome spot named after her. I wanted a glass of wine outside in Napa and didn't want to break the bank to do it. So I ventured out of Downtown to this little gem. The area around it isn't much and feels a lttle industrial, but it makes the lush garden here feel like an actual oasis. Outdoor seating only, so definitely hit this spot when it's nice out. I walked in to the smell of rosemary and grabbed a spot right under a big tomato plant. When my burrata and tomatoes came out, I learned the tomatoes came from the vine I was sitting in under. Talk about eating local! The bread was also locally sourced and the burrata was so smooth and creamy. Just a perfectly refreshing and delicious meal. I complimented my lunch with a glass of the Chardonnay. The very nice woman working that day gave me a splash of it before I committed and it was an instant hit for me. It somehow at the same time had both subtle and obvious Chardonnay-esque flavors, so I could see it being enjoyable whether you love or hate Chardonnay (but let's be real - if you hate it you're wrong). Honestly sad I don't live closer. Would love to try their beer (the flight is a great deal!) And check out their garden music series. This would definitely be a mainstay for me on nice days if I lived in Napa, and I'll for sure keep it in mind for future visits!

Yelp
AMAZING! Loved the service, food, drinks and atmosphere. We walked up 11 mins after opening and got a table. Lucky for us because we didn't have a reservation. I'm not 100% certain if you need one every time, but they for sure asked if we had one. The host was nice enough to get us in not even a 5 min wait. The whole place is surrounded by lemon/ lime trees, cherry tomatoes, flowers, squash. It was a green house out there and it was shaded and relaxing. The service was great. They were informed, nice, not pushy or anything. I loved loved loved the muscat wine, which was part of the wine flights. Really good stuff! And the special we got was there version of pb and j. It was all handmade and presented nicely. The peanut butter was really smooth I think it was almond, peaches cooked in rosemary and vegan bread. I will be back for sure! Thanks for a good time and good wine!

Yelp
They now offer wine and beer tasting. We were seated in the edible garden (next to a lemon tree). It was perfect. The sun was shining and we had a nice shady yet warm seat. The seats aren't too comfortable. Metal chairs with short backs or a wooden bench with no back- all depends on the size of your group. We tried the cheese tray with hummus. There was also a taco truck outside which you can order from and eat on premises of St. Clair Brown. Always a lovely experience here a true gem.

Yelp
We decided to go for some wine tasting to end our vacation and this little spot was so cute and quiet! Caitlin was our hostess and she was so sweet and definitely knew her wines. I had the range wine tasting and my husband got the beer flight. The Sauvignon blanc and the rose of Grenache were my favorite! But the best part was their rose jelly that came with the cheese board. Caitlin checked on us and delivered the next wine for tasting at the perfect time, allowing us privacy and at the same time getting to know a little about us. Lovely place and great wine. Will definitely visit again the next time we're back in Napa. Just waiting for the rose jelly to be back in stock so that we can get it shipped to us here in LA! Thank you, Caitlin!

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! Our server was excellent, thank you Emma! We did notice the other server, didn't get his name but also provided great service. The beer flight was excellent! Pair the chocolate with the Oatmeal Stout, you'll thank me later. We also enjoyed the cheese plate, the hummus and the pork & fig plate. All very tasty and a good value. Every thing at St Clair Brown was an eclectic array of wines, beers, food and amazing service. This is a must visit in Napa! We will be back!

Yelp
Had the most FABULOUS experience with Katelyn. The garden itself is lovely and you can just feel the love that's been poured into this establishment. Katelyn explained that everything in the garden was edible, even the little red flowers. I ate one and I actually ended up eating a few more as they tasted like jicama. We ordered the beer and wine tasting and enjoyed both. For beer, the Marzen was my favorite and for wine the muscat was my partner's favorite. All In all a beautiful experience on a beautiful day. This is the perfect place for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Thanks again Katelyn for the great time

Yelp
Came here on a Friday evening. There was a short wait for my husband and I to be seated as a walk-in. I had the flagship tasting flight and my husband had the beer tasting flight. Our hostess was sweet and knowledgeable. My recommendation is to come here in the daytime so you can enjoy the garden in the warmth of the sunlight. We came around 6pm in early March and it was very dark and cold. There are no heat lamps. This is the only winery AND brewery in Napa so perfect if you have both wine and beer drinkers in your party.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here! Really lovely garden, winery, and brewery in downtown Napa. The property is really small, but very well-maintained. It's all outdoor seating in the garden surrounded by the vegetable garden and lemon trees. The scenery was really beautiful with the string lights. Also, it's dog friendly! One thing to note about the location: it's a little out of the way from the main area of Napa, but not as far as the wineries. We were staying at the River Terrace Inn, and it was conveniently across the street. If you're closer to Main Street, you'll probably want to drive or Uber. They have their own parking lot. Also, another note: you definitely need a reservation! We grabbed the last available slot on Friday at 4:30 PM. You get 90 minutes, which is more than enough time. The server we had was very friendly and super knowledgeable about wine. He told us that this winery/brewery is very unique since it produces both wine and beer, which is unusual for Napa. We focused on wine only and got the "range" wine tasting flight which is $40 per person. They also have a beer flight for $18. They waive the tasting fees if you buy $100 worth of wine or beer. One thing I definitely have to commend this place for is the heavy pours! We were pretty buzzed when we left since the pours were so generous. We ended up leaving with a bottle of the Sauvignon blanc, the Zinfandel, and a bottle of red ale.

Yelp
Really cute tasting room in a little garden. Parking lot out front. Dog friendly. Also has beers available for all the non wine drinkers. Which was a plus for my boyfriend who doesn't really like wine. So everyone wins. Will be back again.

Yelp
$30 for 3 five oz. tastings of mediocre beer. My wife spent even more (60$?) for four tastings of mediocre wine. Don't get suckered into their "presentation" b.s.. Kudos to the sales job the guy pitched on us. Sorry, but this place was an absolute rip off. I'd give it a zero if I could, but I can't.

Yelp
Booked a tasting and wasn't sure what to expect or if it was needed but glad I did! Opened at 12.. we had reservations and the place filled up quickly. It was a lovely day and perfect for outside enjoyment. Purchased a wine and beer tasting. Our host was thorough in explains the processing and fundamentals of the wine we selected. The beer was amazing! Everything looks to be made locally across the street. The garden~~~ lovely!! Our host told us we are welcome to take any fresh herbs, lens or lines with us! All in all a great way to spend the hour and we enjoyed this visit to This Napa winery!

Yelp
The outdoor tasting area of this winery with its production across the street is super cute. Everything on the grounds is edible --persimmons, lemons, kale, squash, olives, figs, etc. Can they come to my house and make me a garden like theirs? Such a nice way to end the evening. I liked the muscat the best in my wine tasting. The rest of the wine and beer were ok for my tasting. The local cheese platter with rose jam was delicious. Ordered jam to go and I am almost done with it. Overall a nice spot to end a kind day at with friends. Dog and kid friendly!

Yelp
I just recently had a pleasant evening here to experience their wine flights. The location is close proximity to downtown Napa and the Oxbow Market. They serve small appetizers here, but if you're more interested in a meal there is a food truck right outside the compound. I love the ambience here even though you can still hear the cars running by on the Main Street. But overall, I tried their rose Syrah and I have to say it is a full bodied rose. It's much sweeter, but it had me hooked. I'm a fan of Syrahs so we eventually purchased both their rose Syrah and estate Syrah. Our host was very accommodating to us and she was gracious to top off the rest of the wine in the bottle during our tasting. I would love to return here again after the lock down.

Yelp
My partner and I are big on visiting different breweries and decided to check this one out! Would I go back? Probably not. However, I still had a few good things to say about this little place. It's not the usual brewery I would say but it has a really nice ambience located between a garden. Yes, a garden! There are different kinds of lemons, carrots, radishes, beets, you name it. Now for the drinks! The beer flight is pre-selected and you are unable to swap any out. Another thing, you are only able to drink there by the flights unless you are a club member if I'm not mistaken. Our usual some place else is getting a flight and then ordering the drink by the glass, can't do that here. Music in the area would be an added bonus. Customer service was great as well. Michael took the time to give us a background on how it all started as well as by who.

Yelp
My husband spotted this place on the map while we were staying at a nearby hotel so we decided to walk over and check it out. We were surprised to find a cute garden filled with veggies and flowers leading up to a small enclosed bar. It happened to be locals night when we were there so it took some patience waiting in line to be served but the staff was gracious and appreciative. We understand that St Clair is known as a specialized, small-scale operation which is reflected in a higher than expected price-point but my Pinot Grigio was delicious and refreshing on a warm day! My husband was surprised that my full glass looked more like a 1/2 glass of wine but he still managed to enjoy his Belgian Ale and his order of marinated olives.

Yelp
Wonderful winery and tasting experience, just a short walk from downtown Napa. A must-see visit. Fabulous wines.

Yelp
The wine was great! If you're coming during COVID, the service was inexcusable and down right dangerous. We had a 3pm reservation and arrived right at 3. A walk in had showed up right before us and was seated before us. We sat. And sat. And sat. Then we saw that the walk-in decided to leave without ordering anything. Instead of cleaning down the table, removing their waters, sanitizing things...etc. in compliance with COVID protocols, the server asked if we wanted their table AND their water glasses. WHAT. THE ACTUAL. FUCK. Even if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic, not clearing down a table between customers and offering new customers the same water glasses as the last customers is nowhere near acceptable. When asked, he said "well they didn't drink the water." I'm sorry what? Even if he was standing over the customers the whole time (he wasn't) that's not an acceptable answer. I was shocked and appalled. If we didn't just rush across town for our reservation, I would have left. By the time we were sat (with new waters, and a wiped down table) it was nearly 30 mins past our reservation time. So, turns out, we didn't need to rush over anyways. Our server then got 50% of the wines in my flight wrong (but that meant I ended up with all the wines - so not a total loss). The wine was fantastic though and we bought 3 bottles. Will come back to buy wine, but very unlikely to sit.

Yelp
We are members of St. Clair Brown. Yesterday, I finally got a chance to enjoy a beer & beer flight in the garden. I highly recommend making reservations, especially if you would like to do a wine tasting. There is now an outdoor garden seating section for members only. It's great if you would like to pick up your order & enjoy a few beers, wine, &/or food while waiting. St. Clair Brown is dog friendly too.
