An amazing cathedral to visit. The structure and grounds were all very impressive. We really enjoyed looking in every corner and admiring the beautiful architecture.

Finally got round to visiting the famous cathedral in the blazing sun today. Not the biggest (it’s like a very big parish church), not the most glamorous, but awash with history and tranquility. They suggested a fiver donation to get in which is very reasonable compared to many cathedrals. If you’re a bit of a miser you don’t have to pay. Nice cafe, shop etc. Short, steep walk to the tiny town. Plenty of pubs and ice cream shops (great on a hot summer day; less ideal in the winter). Not great for parking.

An absolute stunner of a cathedral. Parking is a little way away from the city and there isn't a huge amount of spaces which could be a problem at busy periods. The cathedral has different time periods and architectural styles. There is so much to see, so much history to learn. There is also a cafe on site with toilets. The bishops palace is nearby, (also worth a look (charge)) do be aware its a working church and there are private services which can restrict entering, so do some homework before you go

Met up with some friends near St Davids, walked a bit of the coast path, then visited the cathedral and ruined Bishop's Palace. The cathedral is beautiful and still in use, worth a visit. Disabled access. Would recommend.

Excellent place to visit. Lots of interesting things to see and explore. A must is the Bishops residence next to the Cathedral. The entrance fee is well worth it. The children loved paddling in the nearby river

What a place... Stunning place and extremely peaceful!! A wedding was taking place with all its glory of bells and the organ playing!! Really beautiful place to visit, the restaurant is lovely really nicely set up and the Victoria sponge was an absolute delight!

This is a really well looked after cathedral. It is not part of Bishop Palace, which you have to pay separately to visit. There is the usual voluntary payment suggested. The cathedral is set in a lovely space and has a great history behind it. Really enjoyed walking around it and seeing the organ and choire.

Lovely building, inside is so big, you don't realise how big it is until you're in there, a must do while in Pembroke. There was a wedding taking place when we got there so we went to the bishop palace ruins while waiting It is also an interesting place to visit, which is next to the cathedral. The cathedral asks for donations on entry usually £5 per person, which I didn't think was bad, to help for the upkeep of it.

Yelp
Visited April 2015: "Impressive Cathedral in the smallest town in South Wales" We decided to walk the 5 minutes from our hotel down the street to St David's Cathedral. It was Easter Sunday, so we knew that we would not get the full tour of the location. We took several photos of the graveyard, the Bishop's Palace, and the stream. We then asked one of the parishioners if we could go inside before their next service. We decided not to take photos due to the service starting soon. There was several stain glass windows, a large ornate organ behind the altar, and wooden ceiling. We sat down near a large column made out of cement. The detail work in this church was incredible. One of the parishioners approached us and spoke to us about the church, their services, and attendants. I could easily see myself coming here again and photographing the splendor.

Yelp
This is the Cathedral of Wales and contains the relics of St David . Its pretty remote but well worth the trip . The inside is gorgous architecture mostly norman with a few victorian updates but parts of the building go way back in history . There has been a church on this site for over 1500 years .

Yelp
An incredible sight as you walk down the lane to the building, is the view of the complex from above with ancient headstones dotted about the grass. The cathedral is built on the site of a 6th century monastery. The building itself is 14 century and a delight to see the incredible workmanship in all the carvings and in particular the ceiling! There are exhibitions of chalices and suchlike and about St. David himself. And a refectory/cafe/restaurant. I found it fascinating and look forward to going again.
