We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Our room was large and very clean, as was the ensuite. We were on the first floor and didn't have a sea view but that didn't matter as we were out a lot of the time. The breakfast was excellent, especially the black pudding and it was a good idea to pre order the night before as it saved time in the morning. It's a fair walk into the town centre but taxis are cheap and very reliable.

Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend staff were lovely and place was spotless. Maybe new carpets or flooring in the bedrooms We found the breakfast room a bit of a squeeze as the staff had to keep squeezing past my seat which made me feel as if I was getting in the road. We thought maybe swapping the sitting room and dining room around giving more space to eat as it’s very tight I also think maybe putting out the cereals toast teas and coffees and letting people help themselves would take the pressure off of the staff good selection of breakfast stuff views are to die for and not a bad walk into the centre. A few children running around and shouting early in the morning did wake us up. But not the fault of the B & B We also thought maybe could sell some juice and water as we didn’t bring any with us and were really thirsty. Could possibly do and honest box where you can take a drink and put the money in as it’sTo far just to nip to shop. would definitely book again

A short stop over on our way back to the mainland at Wemyss Bay to start our journey home. St.Ebba is well placed being along the sea front with beautiful views from our room(which we expressly asked for). Plenty to do on the island and this was a good base from which to do it. Breakfast was good and ample to set us up for the day. Would go back if ever we go back.

An outstanding example of how a B+B should be run. Lovely house , not corporately decorated. Fantastic view, especially from our top floor room. Nice , not over effusive welcome. Good breakfast, well presented and quickly delivered...thanks to the night before pre order. I had a slight issue with the stairs to the top floor, but the view was well worth the effort. Everything was clean and tidy, room had all you needed, including an informative folder. And three chairs! So often in a double room there is only one chair. Could not find any negatives!

Clean and comfortable room, with good en suite shower room. Stunning views across the firth of Clyde from the breakfast room and comfortable lounge. Very good full Scottish breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Quiet, peaceful and with the ever-changing views, a beautiful place to stay.
