St George Gallery

Such a lovely gallery tucked into the side of a street. Beautiful art and home goods/furniture.

I went to the Gallery yesterday. Unfortunately I had to wait for 20 minutes at the gate, because no one were there to let me in. The entrance is awful, I wish they could renovate it, because it is untidy and pushes you away. But at all I liked the place. It’s nice area to get acquainted with the Ethiopian art. The Gallery is quiet small. It took me 20 minutes to see all the staff.

If you are into art this is definitely the place for you with different works of art by professionals and amazing crafts from jewelry boxes to vintage furnitures and sculptures. Definitely a spot to checkout when you want to buy a gift for someone that knows and appreciates artistic values or just to be taken by the paintings which are no less than masterpieces.

I had an amazing time, it's good to see the collections of arts, and admire our rich culture. I am definitely coming back soon to spend more time, for a detail observation. I only had a short time on my yesterday visit. Keep up the good work, and looking forward to my next visit.

This people are simply not serious !!!! BE VERY CAREFUL . I paid for transport of chairs they never sent to me 1700 usd. THEY NEVWR RETURNED THE MONEY.....and at end they wanted to pay in Birr which is not internationally accepted. Galery looks nice ...but be very careful DONT SHIP NOTHING AND NO PRE PAYMENTS.

Be careful, opening hours showed here are wrong. I went at 7 pm and everything was closed. I made a 45-minute trip to go so I'm quite disappointed
