After I've reserved two rooms for a price of 650 per room and the gave me vouchers they called me next day and asked to increase the price to 1000 or they will cancel my reservation. Shame

I had a decent experience at this hotel. First, the breakfast is absolutely horrific. For a nation that is known for having great food, the offering was very commercial and tasted quite dull. I skipped all breakfast after my first day. They need a new chef who can offer authentic local food. In-room extras are non-existent. For a hotel of such prices, they should at least have a bottle of water in rooms. This is the norm across all hotels that I have been to. The staff communicate that they only do so for the first night and then you are expected to bring your own. Talk about missing the basics. The rooms were decent yet clearly the bed covers were not replaced every day as some had stains on them. Overall, the service staff were OK. I have seen both professional and unprofessional behavior. Other that, the location is great as it is in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem. Would I return back to this hotel ? Nope.

Great hotel with friendly service. Ramzy the hotel general manager was attentive and polite to guests. Only 15 minute walk to Holy sepulchre church through Damascus gate. Breakfast and dinner had very good selection of tasty food. Rooms comfortable and clean. |We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Thank you!

The hotel location was not great for walking and local taxi fares were quite expensive. The rooms and facilities were very average. The buffet breakfast and dinner were not very appetising. There was a nice view from the pool area on 5th floor.|The saving grace for this hotel was their staff who are well trained and very obliging.

I don't think I have stayed in such a friendly hotel in a long time. |Julius on the front desk was without doubt superb. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was a fountain of knowledge .|Charlie, the Head Waiter was equally accommodating. |Our room was cleaned to perfection every single day.|The food was delicious and most appetising. |

Had a pleasant stay at St George's Hotel as part of our grp tour. Loved that our room had a balcony. Ample food selection during buffet dining. Extremely grateful with the prompt help rendered by front desk officer on duty, Ahmed & IT Staff, Musa when my husband & I needed to use the computer at the basement. Was impressed with both their efficiency in setting up the workstation for our use. Touched by their level of service!

Bed Bugs everywhere|Checked in late, and went to bed half asleep without noticing what I am getting into. The next morning I woke up to see bed bugs everywhere, and dry blood stains on sheet and pillows as in pictures, indicating sheets were not changed that day for me as a new guest. It was simply disgusting and ugly and health threatening. Consulted an expert on the subject and he strongly advised that I should throw away all my clothes, bag, suitcase,, everything I had in that room otherwise bugs eggs could spread in my house after I return, which would be hard to get rid off.. and I did exactly that. Threw everything,,, clothes of brand names. I have been stressed from the experience and had so much nightmares. Asked the hotel to compensate me for my belongings and pain. But no one is responding. GM read my messages but says little. It was my worst hotel experience ever. Even considering going to court.

Great location for a tourist, under 10 min walk to the Old City gate. It's not a 5-star hotel, but the bed was comfy and the rooms were alright. The noise isolation could use some improvement, in the morning we could hear everything from the hallway. Compared to other similar options in Jerusalem, I think the price and quality met very well at St. George (we paid €110/night in January). Breakfast (halal) had all kinds of options and was a fun change to what such quality hotels usually offer. Our receptionist was incredible, he was very helpful at everything we needed to know regarding public transportation, places to visit etc. Thank you!
