I am rating this hotel 1 star for its lack of cleanliness and consideration. Bathrooms were dirty and there were no AC in the conference room - even though they know we were coming. They should know we need one - we eventually asked them and they brought 2 fans.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the service was very responsive. Executive suite was spacious and well equipped (iron and its board). Loved the pool located on the roof with the splendid view of the old city. Varied breakfast was fresh and tasty, they even served my favorite Medjoul (King dates) there! Located just 5 minutes from Herod's gate. Lots of nearby shops and cafes were still open even at Shabbath.

Well appointed rooms, on the small side if you're from North America. Friendly staff, great location in East Jerusalem, 5-minute walk to the Damascus Gate. Excellent breakfast buffet with omlette bar. Spectacular rooftop pool.

I had a decent experience at this hotel. First, the breakfast is absolutely horrific. For a nation that is known for having great food, the offering was very commercial and tasted quite dull. I skipped all breakfast after my first day. They need a new chef who can offer authentic local food. In-room extras are non-existent. For a hotel of such prices, they should at least have a bottle of water in rooms. This is the norm across all hotels that I have been to. The staff communicate that they only do so for the first night and then you are expected to bring your own. Talk about missing the basics. The rooms were decent yet clearly the bed covers were not replaced every day as some had stains on them. Overall, the service staff were OK. I have seen both professional and unprofessional behavior. Other that, the location is great as it is in the heart of the old city of Jerusalem. Would I return back to this hotel ? Nope.

After I've reserved two rooms for a price of 650 per room and the gave me vouchers they called me next day and asked to increase the price to 1000 or they will cancel my reservation. Shame

I don't think I have stayed in such a friendly hotel in a long time. |Julius on the front desk was without doubt superb. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was a fountain of knowledge .|Charlie, the Head Waiter was equally accommodating. |Our room was cleaned to perfection every single day.|The food was delicious and most appetising. |

Had a pleasant stay at St George's Hotel as part of our grp tour. Loved that our room had a balcony. Ample food selection during buffet dining. Extremely grateful with the prompt help rendered by front desk officer on duty, Ahmed & IT Staff, Musa when my husband & I needed to use the computer at the basement. Was impressed with both their efficiency in setting up the workstation for our use. Touched by their level of service!

Great location for a tourist, under 10 min walk to the Old City gate. It's not a 5-star hotel, but the bed was comfy and the rooms were alright. The noise isolation could use some improvement, in the morning we could hear everything from the hallway. Compared to other similar options in Jerusalem, I think the price and quality met very well at St. George (we paid €110/night in January). Breakfast (halal) had all kinds of options and was a fun change to what such quality hotels usually offer. Our receptionist was incredible, he was very helpful at everything we needed to know regarding public transportation, places to visit etc. Thank you!
