What a wonderful little find, I shall be back. I was in room 11 the first door on the left as you go into the establishment. Room very clean and fine for me and a five year old. Towels and room cleaned every day. The room is on the corner and as the building was built years ago! Expect to have an odd shape room/ shower cubicle. Shower fine, the toilet has a special pump that makes a noise, could be an issue if you had someone with sensory issues, but for us we were ok, we are working on noises, eg: hand dryers in toilets. A tv on the wall. The breakfast baskets are fine, we loved opening it and seeing what we got! Beyond excited. There is no where to hang the clothes, eg a wardrobe- but as a carer of a five year old I don’t care what I look like going out- we aim for clean! I think there is some building work going on but I never saw much/ any disruption. Parking is a problem in Guernsey- I got a parking ticket- you can park directly outside the B&B for 10 hours- up the road look out for “you can only park 2 hours”- also one night I parked on a yellow line, I didn’t know it is dark at night! The road signs when the roads out of order/closed are hand written! I have mobility issues but I could walk into st peters port, I went on the ferry to Herm, lovely place- again if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. I’ve been to Guernsey a number of times as my friend lives there- it is a lovely quaint place- great soft play/ leisure centre, there is more to see and do Everytime I go. If you are thinking of a trip then St George’s is a good spot to start!
