St Ives Hobart Accommodation Tasmania

This was our second time staying at St Ives, first as a couple in 2018 and we decided to return after such a great stay now as a family in 2025. The deluxe two bedroom apartment is great! Two levels with a lounge, kitchen and dining table. The two bedrooms and bathroom on second level. The beds are very comfortable and pillows were soft and perfect for us. The service has been great and Viv was very welcoming on our arrival. The location for us is great, a 5 minute walk down to Salamanca Markets and Brooke Street Pier. There is a hop on hop off bus tour stop outside the apartments too which was handy. Views were incredible with a view of the Derwent River and Hobart in one side and Mt Wellington on the other. |We will be staying here again next time we visit Hobart, thank you for another great stay.

Perfectly located, convenient and comfortable. We can cook our own meal because there’s a kitchen & all the utensils are provided. The room is spacious although there are sofa, dining table and work desk. I firstly thought that the room will be old, but everything looks quite new and also plenty spot for carpark. Good value & affordable price. Highly recommended

Stayed for four nights July ground floor apartment with love.y small courtyard ( but to cold at this time of year (for me at least) to take advantage of. Ample free parking for guests. Located within a short walk to supermarkets, restaurants, also short-ish walk to Salamanca eateries. Friendly staff, efficient check in. Room spacious and clean with small kitchenette. Bathroom clean and modern. On one night was continually woken by loud water pipe at all hours of night. May have a guest in another room but noise wasn’t an issue for rest of nights. Would recommend and definitely stay here again in future visits.

I would recommend this place to anyone whos going to visit Hobart! Great location and amenities, room was clean. I was really impressed with the kitchen - it has anything we need (utensils, cookware, plates, even salt and pepper). I really had a really pleasant time there! We can add an extra bed for another $40/night. The room didnot look like as old as i thought.

The staff their were super lovely and the parking in the area was great. Their are plenty of spaces to park your vehicle. The location is very convenient for nearby conveniences such as the Salamanca Market. The rooms were very nice, great amenities and the view from the balcony was very nice. Would highly recommend St Ives if staying the area.

We stayed at these apartments for 3 nights at the end of our Tasmanian holiday and it was the best accommodation we stayed in. Beatriz deserves special mention for her friendly and efficient checkin at reception. The apartment had everything you could want from comfortable bed and furnishings, free onsite parking, laundry, kitchenette for simple meal prep, walkable to town, market and restaurants,( 10 mins) lift access, balcony , and great price per night . We will stay here next time we are in Hobart, and have already recommended it to other travellers

Lovely apartment with a super comfy king size bed, and very large flat screen TV. The location is perfect too with a short walk to the Salamanca precinct where you are spoilt for choice for eating and drinking options. Continue on and take a lovely walk around constitution dock. The staff are super friendly and helpful too.

Beautiful accommodation in Hobart. Great central location. 10 minute walk to wharf. Great laundry on ground floor. Washing powder supplied. Dryer and washing machines. $6 eftpos. |Rooms have beautiful cakes of soap and liquid shampoo and conditioner/ soap all in one. Microwave, kettle, tea and coffee. Hot plate and plates, bowls. Utensils. Large room and large bed. Bed comfortable. Parking onsite.
