St Ives Hobart Accommodation Tasmania

We stayed at St Ives Apartments 20 Sept 25 to 24 Sep 25. Service was good and efficient. What a great location to stay, we could walk everywhere in town. Great area park at rear of the property, it felt quite safe, you had a note to pop in vehicle showing you were staying. The apartment was a great size, we could cook, the bins emptied daily was good. Bath room was great. The bed had best mattress I ever slept on we would like to know which H Beard guarantee mattress it was and the pillow a Dunlopillo was best I had slept on, again we would love know which pillow it was to purchase. The apartment was set up well with all our needs after touring every day. We felt right at home,. It was an older apartment the little things that needed attention, did not bother us as everything was great. We would certainly stay here at St Ives Apartments again....when we visit from NSW.

Stayed for 3 nights and it was a great one! Main room area is spacious but found the bathroom to be a bit small, there was no body wash but only soaps. We stayed on the ground floor but it was peaceful and no disturbance. Laundry facilities is on the ground floor too, so it was very convenient for us. Do remember to press the start button on the dryer. The washer starts automatically once payment is made but the dryer doesn’t! Parking is free too.

Wonderfully appointed hotel close walk through beautiful Battery Point historic streets to Salamanca markets. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet and beds are to die for they are so comfy. Reasonable room pricing. Highly recommend.

This was our second time staying at St Ives, first as a couple in 2018 and we decided to return after such a great stay now as a family in 2025. The deluxe two bedroom apartment is great! Two levels with a lounge, kitchen and dining table. The two bedrooms and bathroom on second level. The beds are very comfortable and pillows were soft and perfect for us. The service has been great and Viv was very welcoming on our arrival. The location for us is great, a 5 minute walk down to Salamanca Markets and Brooke Street Pier. There is a hop on hop off bus tour stop outside the apartments too which was handy. Views were incredible with a view of the Derwent River and Hobart in one side and Mt Wellington on the other. |We will be staying here again next time we visit Hobart, thank you for another great stay.

We stayed here for three nights in the Deluxe Double Studio and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and had a pleasant scent. The price was very reasonable, and the amenities were excellent, everything was thoughtfully provided, from the pantry to the bathroom, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The location is peaceful and quiet, with no noise disturbances at all. The front desk staff were kind and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel :)

We booked four rooms for a special family event weekend. From the very start the crew went out of their way to make sure the visitors were well looked after and all of our foibles were addressed. Guests commented on the cleanliness and completeness of all facilities, the cooking facilities allowed maximum convenience and the room sizes were so much better than many other establishments. All requests were handled with aplomb and the ready-access parking was a godsend for older guests. All of the guests independently remarked that St Ives is their first choice for their next visit to Hobart.

I would recommend this place to anyone whos going to visit Hobart! Great location and amenities, room was clean. I was really impressed with the kitchen - it has anything we need (utensils, cookware, plates, even salt and pepper). I really had a really pleasant time there! We can add an extra bed for another $40/night. The room didnot look like as old as i thought.

The staff their were super lovely and the parking in the area was great. Their are plenty of spaces to park your vehicle. The location is very convenient for nearby conveniences such as the Salamanca Market. The rooms were very nice, great amenities and the view from the balcony was very nice. Would highly recommend St Ives if staying the area.
