Beautiful accommodation in Hobart. Great central location. 10 minute walk to wharf. Great laundry on ground floor. Washing powder supplied. Dryer and washing machines. $6 eftpos. |Rooms have beautiful cakes of soap and liquid shampoo and conditioner/ soap all in one. Microwave, kettle, tea and coffee. Hot plate and plates, bowls. Utensils. Large room and large bed. Bed comfortable. Parking onsite.

We've stayed at St Ives around eight or ten times over the years and thought it was about time to leave a review. It is a sixties or seventies style building so it's a bit old but, it is perfectly located for those who need to be within walking distance of Battery Point, Hobart and Sandy Bay. Rooms are a decent size with air conditioning, kitchenette and good sized bathroom. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Rooms are serviced daily. Large car park with sufficient parking, plus (recently) plenty of EV charging. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating.

We stayed on the top level - a two bedroom apartment across two levels, kitchen, balcony, dining & living room downstairs , and bedrooms & bathroom upstairs. The room was pristine, and in a great location to walk down to the harbour. It provided great utilities such as a laundry, however we did notice there was no body wash included, only shampoo & conditioner and body lotion. The layout of the apartment was great, we stayed two nights and felt very comfortable.

We arrived after a long drive and were welcomed to their premises. The Front Office stadd checked us in very efficiently gave us 2 keys and told us about all the facilities. Gave us a location map. They provide laundry facilities and provided free detergent as well. The room was very clean with a well equipped kithcennette. Cooking utensils, plates crockery, salt and pepper etc was provided. The room was serviced everyday and parking was provided free of charge. Great location - walked to Salamanca market and city.

Stayed here for the first time with my partner and we are very impressed. The price is very affordable considering it also have a kitchen, couches, dining table and a balcony and the room was great. It was clean and spacious. Service is also great as every day after we went out, they would replace our towels and refill everything and also make our bed so we always come back with a clean room. The location is also great as it is a walking distance to the city but not too close so its not chaotic. I would definitely stay at St Ives again next time we came back to Hobart!

Room is spacious, has a kitchenette and a good sized desk to work from. Also a small dining table and seating area. Easy to walk to CBD, wharf and grocery.

Loved this place, stayed 4 nights late Oct 24. Stayed in 2 nights and wife cooked, we also used on-site laundry twice, very handy. Easy walk down to Salamanca markets and city sites. Our room was on ground floor, had best bathroom of our trip. We would happily stay here again.|

Great location in easy walking distance to wharves, Salamanca and the city. Very friendly and accommodating staff and the room was well appointed ( huge tv) with the option to cook or visit one of the many restaurants and pubs close by. Very easy to recommend to anyone else. Just be early or play car park chess in the evening. Three EV charging stations too.
