It's under construction on July 2025, but still beautiful for some great shots. Only take less than 5 minutes at this place so perhaps still good to drop by. From here, you can walk to the piazza navona or pantheon to continue the journey. Nearby are lots of food establishments for your meals and resting so go ahead and drop by this place without worries.

2024-05-12 Perfect for an architecture student. The perspective at the gate made unforgettable impression. Boromini did master the perspective and made it to our eyes unlike St.Peter epic failed ahaha. I’m lucky enough to visit inside the church: it’s doesn’t seem so big but it attracted us to look up always my neck kinda hurt after a while. Anyway, for me, the best in Rome. The church only opens on Sunday in a short period of time in the morning. However you can appreciate the court any time and sometimes I could go up to the first floor also.

Unfortunately the church wasn't open, did to construction work. Yet the courtyard is absolutely remarkable in its harmony and rhythm. Place a Café in it, please?

It is one of my favorite places to visit even if renovations and changes are going on; it is so beautiful inside and outside. Read about it in your art history books. A year ago and probably for some long time it was only open on Sundays from about 9 am to 11 am before services. One can see its cupola from many vantage points. It is near the Pantheon. Many years ago you could tip a guard, if you could find him, to get in on the side and sit there for a few minutes. Then you can usually walk out at the right and get to the Pantheon.

If you can get here during the few hours it's open it's a real treat. At 11 there is a service (all in Italian obviously) that you can sit in on, the audience do participate and sing. They do ask for a donation. It's quite a serene experience.

Open on Sunday mornings. A special place to be able to visit, I was finally able to go after several visits to Rome. Have a look if you can, it is beautiful and serene.
