"One of the largest, and most laid-back, of Antigua ’s resorts, St. James Club & Villas, on Mamora Bay, about five minutes from English Harbour, has long been a favorite of couples and families. As at many all-inclusives, the dining can occasionally bring back memories of school lunch programs, but the free Kidz Club and four wedding gazebos let everyone know it is their kind of place. On one of the two beaches, Mamora Bay, the waves gently lap; on the other, Coco Beach, the surf crashes. Among the six pools, two are adults-only, and one is just for kids."

It was our second trip to St James Club in the last 6 years. This visit surpassed the first. The grounds and location are perfect for an island getaway. We were on the beach on the Atlantic side in the Mango building on the second floor and our room was perfect with an amazing view, especially at night. The staff was friendly, engaging, and accommodated our every need. The food and drinks were perfect each day and at all available locations. The Mamora Bay Bar is great in the afternoon for drinks at the beach, and the Reef Deck Bar by the pool is wonderful in the morning after an amazing breakfast at Rainbow Garden. We walked each morning, snorkeled, sailed and visited English Harbor. Highly recommend for families with children of all ages. Lots to keep them engaged.

We just returned from a two-week holiday staying in a two-bedroom villas. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered stunning views. The staff were, as always, incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. ||The resort itself is expansive with something for everyone — tennis, gym, paddle, lounging by one of the many pools, or enjoying the choice of two beaches. We also went on two fabulous boat trips around the island with Noel and his crew, who looked after our large group perfectly. ||Special thanks to Matt, who was always on hand to help with any questions or issues. Overall, this resort is highly recommended — a fantastic place to visit with excellent service, great facilities, and unforgettable experience.

Antigua has 2 sides the country side and city side about 45 minutes apart. St James is on the country side, so if you're going to relax decompress and just enjoy the beautiful resort this place is perfect. If a land excursion person most excursions are 45 minutes away. Water excursion are right outside your door. We did the sunset cruise and sea turtle snorkeling. The crew on both excursions were super friendly and and entertaining. They have a golf cart turned beach bar, so while on the beach bar comes to you

I think a 3 star does this resort justice. My friends and I had a 3 bedroom villa for 4 days. The villa was ok. Not necessarily special. The toilets often didn’t work and we had a have a plumber come in a few time over the course of 4 days. The Food in various cafes was good enough but not special either. Only dinner I truly enjoyed was at Coco. We often got unclear timing for when restaurants closed so we often had to rush to get whatever was still left. I think good information in the rooms, or an app would be so helpful for guest. We didn’t do an orientation so we found out about activities along the way. Service from staff was just ok. There were good, kind moments but there were at least 2 rude encounters when the staff kept cutting us off. On the last day, we saw guests with a nice gift bag. I asked about this and staff told me it was complimentary and should have been in our villa upon check in. This was not the case. So I asked for some upon check out and they did provide it. So it’s a nice enough spot, great views at the top of the hill, but with the spotty staff and lack of information, I doubt I’d be back.

We returned to St. James’s Club from 25th October to 2nd November 2025 after first visiting in 2024. We fell in love with the resort on that first visit and didn’t hesitate to come back — and we’re so glad we did.||This stay felt even more special. The improvements around the resort are clear to see, and it’s obvious how much care and investment is going into enhancing the overall experience. The surroundings are beautiful, but it’s the people who make this place truly stand out.||The team were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Donna, Riaan and the team took such great care of us throughout our stay. We’d also like to give a special mention to Ken from the watersports team. He remembered us from the year before and was brilliant with our children, especially when helping them learn to sail the Hobie Cat. Those moments will stay with them for a long time.||Thank you to everyone at St. James’s Club for another wonderful holiday. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the St.James Club Antigua. The staff was amazing and I must give extra shout out and credit to the food and beverage staff. I enjoyed everything. They had the St.james club antigua Jacaranda bar at night and the reef bar by the pool was great I love the docksider restaurant by the beach and the Eleven-11 restaurant at night was our favorite and rainbow restaurant for breakfast and the coffee shop. The Chocolate table with chocolate martini was fantastic we love the staff they were friendly and helpful especially Chris the waiter at Docksider. The food was great lots of varieties. I loved everything about this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

My trip didn’t start out the way I’d hoped—my suitcase was left behind at JFK, and I arrived in Antigua feeling a little sorry for myself. But as I quickly learned, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it—and the staff at St. James Beach club said it all with kindness. From the moment I arrived, every interaction lifted my spirits. Yes, views were breathtaking—especially the beach view from my room and all around the property —however, it was the people of St James who made this trip unforgettable. The front desk check-in was easy, Captain Kenny, with his wonderful smile, took me sailing around the bay. He shared the history of the property and the surrounding area, turning a simple boat ride into a scenic, soulful experience. Later, I bumped into Mr. Igol, who offered teach me chess on the beach. He made it fun and surprisingly easy. A skill I plan to take back with me to play. And every evening, a staff member (whose name I wish I’d gotten!) ensured my dinner and drinks were perfectly paired—like the mango peach cocktail that was absolutely delicious. He even checked in at breakfast to make sure my morning started off right. This wasn’t just a vacation—it was a warm welcome away from my stressful day to day. This team truly understands hospitality. Thank you, St. James Beach, for turning a rocky start to my vacay into a beautiful memory.
