Historic and beautiful church right in the heart of Georgetown on O Street. The architecture is stunning—founded in 1796 and full of character. Parking is street parking mostly, but there are handicap spaces directly in front of the main entrance. The church has made great efforts at accessibility with a ramp at the side entrance and the main sanctuary is wheelchair accessible. The congregation is welcoming and the services are meaningful. The church garden is a peaceful retreat from Georgetown's busy streets. Highly recommend for worship, weddings, or just appreciating the history and beauty.
Rhode Island Place Shopping Center
Conveniently located right off Route 1 in Northeast DC with easy access from all directions. This shopping center has everything you need—grocery, retail, dining—all in one spot. Parking is plentiful with dedicated handicap spaces close to every entrance. The entire complex is single-level or has elevators, making it fully wheelchair accessible. Wide sidewalks and automatic doors throughout. The stores are well-maintained and the security presence is noticeable without being intrusive. Highly recommend for practical, accessible shopping without the hassle of multi-level malls.
