St Judes

Stayed here for a christmas break with my wife and what a pleasure it was. Outstanding hosts, food and accommodation and to add, the location is perfect, peaceful but close to the coast and Galway town. Had an amazing time and this guest house is one of the best we've stayed at. Will return if we're lucky enough.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! Tony, Ita, and the whole family were so kind, providing suggestions for activities, helping us navigate Galway, and cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms were cozy with updated en suite bathrooms and no issues staying warm in the chilly nights. The location was spot on - 8 minute uber from Galway and easy to get to from the highway. We could not have felt safer. The rooms individually locked and the front door was only unlocked for a portion of the day, and you needed your key to get in after 8pm. Would have no hesitations staying there again!

The rooms at St. Judes were exquisite. The furnishing and linens in the rooms were high end and very comfortable. The room was spotless and the bathroom was updated with a great shower. The location is perfect. You can walk to the Latin Quarter and you are also close to the cool area of Salthill, with more dining, pubs and shops. Our hosts were gracious, helpful and kind. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh bread and fruits and many great breakfast options. I would stay here anytime I am in Galway. I highly recommend it and I am so glad we stayed here.

This was our first trip to Galway. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to walk downtown. Beautiful view. Recommend a bay view and to catch breezes. Clean room and bathroom. Crisp sheets. |Nice breakfast. Very attentive owners. |Good value for the height of the season.

Such a pleasant place to stay. Beautiful rooms , special people.||Breakfast was very good and homemade. The propiety is just few minutes to Galway center and to the seaside.||last but not least, bed was super cozy. had such a good sleep

St Jude's was a fantastic traditional Irish B&B. Owned and operated by a family it had a very cozy feeling. The location is fantastic with Salt Hill and Galway City being close by.

We had a lovely dbl room on the 1st floor, so anyone staying should be aware there are stairs to def to the rooms. The position was great, we could walk to Salthill, & into town in 10 mins. We were looked after beautifully by Aiofe ( I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!) every morning for breakfast, she couldn’t have helped us any more.
