Danny Meyer Opens the View, a Rotating Restaurant in NYC

"A childhood memory for the owner, remembered as a rotating St. Louis restaurant whose slow revolution made viewing the city at night feel spectacular and mildly disorienting if you left the table briefly." - Anna Hezel

The Arch at the St. Louis Riverfront is an incredible and iconic landmark that truly stands out when you see it in person. Walking around the riverfront area gives you beautiful views of the Arch, the Mississippi River, and the surrounding city. The open space makes it great for walking, taking photos, or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. One downside is that the area can get very hot and sunny, especially in summer, with limited shade near the river. It can also feel a bit quiet at certain times of day. Tip: Visit in the early morning or late afternoon for cooler weather and better lighting, and wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk along the riverfront.

While passing through St Louis on a family RV trip, we had to stop and check out the St Louis Arch! We had a fun time and got some great photos. It was a foggy day, but the pics still turned out great. Even got our old RV to pose for a couple pics.

Part of Gateway Arch. National Park. The riverfront is clean. Parking is limited but we parked on the levee and there was minimal cars that day. Plenty to see. Just wandering around this downtown area sculpture gardens the arch itself. The paths. Would definitely recommend

What's in St. Louis for business teaching as usual and decided to check out the arch. Absolutely amazing structure. The park was very empty. Of course. It was late morning on a Monday. But the park in the riverfront was beautiful.

Family and I got to see the beautiful Christmas display this season. So many wonderful things to do or see at the Saint Louis Riverfront year round. Never know what you’re going to explore/see❤️ STL a GEM in itself. STL STAND UP❤️

THE BOATt: As you can see in the pictures, the boat has several levels with places to sit and stand while the ride lasts. There was someone explaining what we could see during the ride, but I could not understand a word 🤷🏻‍♀️ FOOD: The boat has a small stand with very basic foods. Do not expect variety. Do not come hungry lol PARKING: The boat ride is at a distance from the arch facilities. If you plan to do the boat only, there is parking accessible.

A beautiful, scenic walk - made all the better as you are walking through a well-cared-for National Park. And of course there is the Gateway Arch right there - though when you go down to the actual waterfront, there’s not much to it, and I wouldn’t walk without close-toed shoes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great time - you just should make sure you’re aware of your surroundings… and that you wash your hands thoroughly if you touch the river water (the industrial runoff upstream, plus other factors). The barge for the river boat tours is fun, though - and yes, you can bring your beer on the boat.

Very fun experience. We got to see historic parts of St. Louis. Also the announcer made jokes and was very funny person to listen too. He gave some cool facts about the city I had no idea about. Highly recommend and it isn’t going to burn a hole in your
