St. Mark's Cathedral, Arica

Wonderful church designed by French Architect Eiffel (like the tower), you can see that the interior uses a wonderful cast iron design, and a unique feature of Chilean Catholic Churches, the use of wooden paneling.

The beautiful cathedral was built by the still unknown Gustav Eifel in the years 1875-1876.

Arica is a lovely town. People are very welcoming.

Wonderful place to visit during Christmas season. Lot of fun,music and colour carnival pride. Fr this place one can see on the top of mountain are big country flag ,flying higher. I love this place.

A historic landmark, created and Built By French Architect Eiffel himself. Millions of Chilean Pesos have been spent on Renovations, however its hard to see what has actually been renovated ..

Beautiful Cathedral, Awesome welcome with very interesting information. The guy who designed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France also designed this Cathedral. The cost - free.
