Small koa, super friendly staff. Bathrooms are at a minimum however they do have 1 area that has private bathrooms and shower. Pool seemed nice, we didn't use it though. Reasonably priced camp store. Excellent location. 1 hour from two medicine, 30 min from many glacier and around the corner from the GTSSR. This has nothing to do with the Koa, but east glacier is basically a food desert so plan accordingly. We stayed in a basic cabin and it had a mini fridge and microwave.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great for visiting Glacier and the quieter areas of the park. Didn’t use all the amenities but they had a nice laundry room and camp store. Would highly recommend staying on this side of the park!

Nice site close to the east entrances of the park. Well kept with some of the tent sites being very large. We were fortunate to get a big site and enjoyed having a lot of pace close to the lake. A little pricey, but short notice availability makes it worth it. Cell reception (Verizon) was perfect, but we weren’t there for that. Unplugged!

Deluxe Lodge - August 2025 We stayed in one of the deluxe lodges and it was far from roughing it. While it was a 2 bedroom, we only used one of the rooms for the 2 of us but there was plenty of room for 4 people (2 Queens). The bed was SO comfortable and we slept well. There was air conditioning/heat in every room and all of the amenities you would need. The shower was strong and plenty of hot water. We used the grill outside and there was also a fire-pit. The main building had a small store with drinks/snacks, etc and was relatively fair priced. The wifi wasn’t working but on Verizon we had 2 bars of 5GUW and it was plenty fast. The views were amazing and great for star gazing. This was a great jumping off point for Glacier NP as the visitor center where you can catch the shuttle into the park is 5 minutes away. My wife is not a “roughing it” kind of girl and this was far from it.

Great location for those going to Glacier! Not a ton in the surrounding area as far as restaurants go. This KOA had significantly less amenities than the West Glacier KOA, but was well maintained. Tent sites needed a lot of work as there was no designated spot and our two sites were very muddy and rocky. Picnic tables are also falling apart and very unstable. Bathrooms and showers were clean but not close to the campsites. The hot tub and pool were always packed, but it was nice to have. Laundry is also available here for $2.25 to wash.

Stayed here a week July 2025. Rumors were that it changed management for the 2025 season so this was first with new management. Great location easy access to GTSR, Two Medicine, Many Glacier. I would always stay east side for location and give up west side conveniences. There is a teeny tiny grocery in the town but best to get groceries in Browning before arrival. We paid extra for a patio site. We were on the side of the campground without a Mountain View, bummer coming from FL. Our patio site was overgrown with grass and it was nice to have a table and chairs and a grill but the grill door had fallen off and was just laying around. Site was not level side to side or front to back. We pulled to far forward so had a hard time draining our tanks since sewer hook up was uphill. Our bad for not paying better attention when we set up. Bath houses were clean. Stored well stocked. We didn’t eat from their cafe. Didn’t used pool either.

Great place to stay for a family when visiting Glacier National Park about 5 minutes from the St Mary's entrance. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabins for 3 nights. The campground was clean and maintained well. The staff was professional and nice. We enjoyed the views as well as the hot tub and pool. There is a small café which serves basic dinner fare as well as pizza.

We are currently staying here and the views are incredible! Not much room between sites but what you expect at a KOA. The pool and hit tub are closed due to cold weather! Yes they had a winter storm in June. The shower nice! Lots of hot water and pressure. The laundry room.had at least 16 washers and ten dryers, with only two washers out of service. Its a great place for a base camp.
