We stayed at the St. Mary’s East Glacier KOA Holiday in August 2025, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The location was absolutely gorgeous and made getting into Glacier National Park each day incredibly easy. It was simple to get into and out of our spot, and hooking up our RV was quick and hassle‑free. The Wi‑Fi was excellent, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The entire campground was very clean, well kept, and beautifully maintained. It’s a stunning place, and we would definitely visit again.

We visited this campground last month and stayed four nights. It is a large campground offering a variety of lodging for all. They have cabins, yurts and luxury cabins and of course camping sites ranging from tent site, water/power, to full hook-up and back-in or pull-thru sites. There is an exceptionally large dog park and a trail which is one of the best trails that we have seen at a campground and our dog really enjoyed this since the trail leads to the lake too, where there are kayaks if you want to rent one. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi after our hikes and the grounds are well-maintained. You are literally just five minutes from the East gate of Glacier National Park. At this entrance there is a large Visitor Center, a shuttle which takes you to various drop offs to access trails with the final drop @ Logan Pass. We highly recommend this park as the staff and amenities were great.

Editing the review down to 4 stars after our second visit. The second time we went for showers, we encountered two separate employees who were very unwelcoming. They made it clear they didn’t want our business, i probably wouldn’t go back unless it’s the only option. *This review is only for the showers and laundry* Showers available to the public for $15, and totally worth it!! I think it was the best campground shower I’ve ever had! Tons of hot water, good pressure, and very clean!! Laundry is coin operated, and they have a change machine. Prices were reasonable (2.25 for wash, .25 per 4 minutes in the dryer - less than $5 to wash and dry a load). The machines seemed clean and were efficient. On the first visit, service at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

1st time traveling to MT. We had a sleeper cabin that was perfect. The fact that it had a mini fridge and microwave were an added bonus. The bathrooms were shared but individual at the same time (only one person in at a time and never needed to wait to get in). Also always clean. It has heat (didn't use it) and screens on the windows to let the fresh air in. Plus it smelled wonderful inside of it. I spent more money in the store with the cute gifts and the coffee....yummmm. We did a red bus tour and it picked us right up from the office. We will definitely stay here again.

While quite possibly the most scenic KOA of all time, the tent sites could use some work. J10 is essentially a drainage ditch with a picnic table. Other sites didn't seem much better. Some lawn timbers and gravel would go a long way. On the plus side, the bathrooms are VERY clean. We used the pool and hot tub, and the common space behind the main camp store. Incredible views near the camp store, we cooked dinner here both nights. No wifi, and a sign on the door clearly stating that there will not be wifi anytime soon. The laundry area had about 50% of the machines in working order, and an out of order coin machine --par for the course in my experience. The camp store was a bit pricey as one would expect, but comprehensive. At $50-55 this would be a good deal with actual tent pads. Currently though, the place is pretty over-priced.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/2 bath nice cabin. There was an air conditioner, microwave, full size refrigerator & stovetop. One tv in the sitting/kitchen area had direct tv. We had a great Atnt phone signal here. We really like this place so close to going to the sun road. Loved it!

Our stay at the KOA at St. Mary’s was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and I especially loved relaxing on the swing. The staff was so attentive and welcoming, making sure everything was just right for our stay. One of the best parts was the incredible night sky—no light pollution, just a breathtaking view of the stars. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone visiting the area!

Most I paid for a camper çabin. It had electric, refrigerator, and, microwave. The outlet was in wrong place to run my CPAP so I ran it off my battery. No toilet or shower. Longer walk to facilities. I think there were similar cabins closer to bathroom I wished we stayed in. During day not bad but at night it would have been more convenient. Close to St Mary entrance to Going to the Sun Road.
