We are currently staying here and the views are incredible! Not much room between sites but what you expect at a KOA. The pool and hit tub are closed due to cold weather! Yes they had a winter storm in June. The shower nice! Lots of hot water and pressure. The laundry room.had at least 16 washers and ten dryers, with only two washers out of service. Its a great place for a base camp.

Easy and fast check in. Escort to our camp site. Some camp sites are very close while others seem to have more room. My back in site had an amazing view of the mountains behind our RV, no one was behind but the mountains! Pool and hot tub were perfect. Hot tub was hot! Bathrooms were very clean, looked up dated. Showers themselves were great. Loved thier store with gifts, food and ice cream! There was a playground for the kida and what looked like a dog park. I would recommend this campground and would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the St. Mary KOA. The location cannot be beat and I didn’t even get a chance to explore the river and lake. The campground is very big, and the staff has taken a lot of care to make each cabin seem like its own secluded hideaway. There could be more washrooms on the premises, though. There were a lot of people and the showers were constantly busy.

I would recommend this KOA for anyone looking to stay on the East side of the park. Located in a convenient area, our cabin was very cozy and had a really nice view of the mountains. The entrance to the park was just down the road. The staff was quick to help us with any issues in our cabin. The WiFi was down when we got there, which we didn’t know about ahead of time, but that wasn’t the end of the world. Would definitely stay again!

While quite possibly the most scenic KOA of all time, the tent sites could use some work. J10 is essentially a drainage ditch with a picnic table. Other sites didn't seem much better. Some lawn timbers and gravel would go a long way. On the plus side, the bathrooms are VERY clean. We used the pool and hottube, and the common space behind the main camp store. Incredible views near the camp store, we cooked dinner here both nights. No wifi, and a sign on the door clearly stating that there will not be wifi anytime soon. The laundry area had about 50% of the machines in working order, and an out of order coin machine --par for the course in my experience. The camp store was a bit pricey as one would expect, but comprehensive. At $50-55 this would be a good deal with actual tent pads. Currently though, the place is pretty over-priced.

Great KOA with knowledgeable friendly staff. Clean, well kept, and busy. No WiFi while we were there, but no biggie, cell service (AT&T) was more than adequate. Of course, it is “Big Sky” country so satellite access (SL) is always available. Very close to the little village of St.Mary as well as the southeast entrance to GNP. The Red Bus tour buses will pick you up from the KOA main office if you’ve purchased a road tour.

The campground is on the Blackfeet Reservation and operation of the campground has recently been taken over by the Blackfeet tribe. The camp store is huge and appears to be recently redone. Just about everything you might need is available. They even have hand dipped ice cream and fresh brewed coffee available. The sites are gravel and we saw crews spreading stone and working to level sites. We had no trouble leveling our class A on our site. There is a swimming pool but we did not have time to check that out. A big shout out and thank you to the staff at St. Mary/East Glacier. When we checked in, I discovered that I had screwed up the reservation and had not requested a full hookup site. Our rig has a small black water tank and we do not carry a portable dump tank. The staff juggled a few things around and were able to place us in a full hookup site. The crew who helped us into our site were excellent, very helpful. We stayed here because of its proximity to the east entrance of Glacier National Park. The campground is right around the corner of the east entrance and visitor center and the Going-To-The-Sun-Road. Understand that this campground is literally in the middle of nowhere. We did have ATT & Verizon cell service but there was no off-air TV and no cable TV available. The campground offers WiFi and there is what appears to be a brand new WiFi distribution system in the park. Unfortunately it was not working and there was a notice on the office door to that effect. Why is that important? We were fortunate enough to have cell coverage so we could check the weather forecast and purchase entrance tickets to Glacier National Park online. The weather forecast became important because a serious snow storm was forecast during our stay. We had planned to stay at the St. Mary/East Glacier KOA for four nights, but unfortunately we had to leave after two nights because of the impending snow storm. A number of other campers also left early. This is a very nice well run campground that is being improved under the new ownership. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. If we were ever to come back to Glacier National Park, St. Mary/East Glacier would be our first choice.

Incredible spot and views. Great pool and showers. |Great camp store. Very friendly staff.|BUT their WiFi is out and a sign at the office says no repair on the near future indefinitely.
