Great KOA, wonderful staff Perfect location for Glacier National Park. The Park is spotless, quiet, lots of amenities They have a huge dog run. This Park has the most beautiful panoramic view of the Glaciers. We love that the RV park is not a concrete or asphalt parking lot like a lot of KOAs. The bathrooms r spotless, great store for last minute items. The tent sites are very private, large and near the water. RV sites don't even see the tent sites. A few very friendly reservation dogs running around, we enjoyed their company.. Great nature trail around the entire park. We RV a lot, I am confused about the negative reviews but chock it up to, U CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE!!!! Thank you employees for going out of your way to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. See you next year!!

WOW. Amazing views. I loved taking my dog for a walk just to look at the beautiful mountains. It’s very quiet, has friendly staff, some groceries and souvenirs. We liked having an escort to our site. He was very friendly. The main thing that sucked was the sewer hookup for the site next to us was about 4 feet from our backdoor exit. 🙄 Your park would look so much better if someone walked around everyday with a weed whacker and if you mowed more often. Just my 2 cents.

I stayed here with my family and this is the one of the nicest KOAs I’ve been to I come here almost every year and the people at the desk and Ice cream area are very nice and welcoming you also have a great view of this mountain. This place is very well kept with nice bushes and grass is mowed the pool is nice with a large hot tub. Overall this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend.

Very helpful staff. I unfortunately had a situation at home that cut my stay short. The staff at the front desk went above and beyond helping me with my situation. The laundry room was great, the hot shower was even better. They have a nice store and possibly the two biggest and much needed scoops of chocolate & peanut butter ice cream. Hopefully I'll be back there to finish out my trip.

I can’t say enough positive about our time at this campground. We were a family of 12, one trailer, 4 tents and one cabin They went above and beyond to get us as close together as possible with a very full camp. Everyone had a ball. Hot tub was a great addition after hiking. Bike lending, laundry, firewood and ice delivery were greatly appreciated. Bathrooms clean and good water pressure, could use hooks for personal belongings in bathroom by pool. Great store with reasonable prices. Great staff. Beautiful views from the campground. Easy access to GNP, including Red Bus tours picking up at office. Highly recommend.

We spent two nights there in a camping cabin, two adults two under 5yo kids. We had a great time. We used it mostly as a jumping off point to see the park and to then come back and have dinner then sleep. For that, it was great. The cabin was clean, the neighbors were friendly, the shop well stocked, and the pool/hot tub were plenty to satisfy the kids. My two gripes would be the bathrooms and smoking. The bathroom nearest to us was almost constantly occupied so we kept having to wander around the campsite for an open one. Second was our last night there, we had some new neighbors, one of whom was a smoker. Her smoke easily drifted over the 10ft to our picnic table where we were having dinner. They should really just outright prohibit smoking on the premises or at least cordon it to a set area. Other campers shouldn't be forced to deal with that. Otherwise it was fantastic. Extremely scenic and you could not ask for a more convenient location to experience Glacier. 10/10 would recommend. The pizza made on site and delivered to your site was a pleasant surprise, as well as the espresso shop we visited on our way out.

The St. Mary KOA is located very near the east entrance for the Going To The Sun Road at Glacier National Park. It is a quiet park with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The sites are nicely spaced, but for some reason, the sewer hookups are sometimes located right in the middle of your neighbor's grassy area. The roads can be a bit tight to navigate, and the terraced sites can cause a bit of tail drag upon exit. The facilities are convenient - pool, showers, laundry - and clean. The WIFI is fabulous! We thought we would miss all of the Olympics, but we got to catch up each night.||Our only complaint is that NO ONE - young, old, families - respects your sites, despite signs throughout the park to not cross occupied sites. Whether we were outside or not, any time of the day or night, people crossed our site, and that of our traveling companions. Overall, it was a great stay. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA Holiday in a Fifth Wheel.

I didn't know what I paid for with $60 for a half day tent site. Very poorly laid out camp that is hard to navigate, especially in the dark. Kept looking for a sign with tents and numbers, but the only sign was for a nature trail. The tents were tucked away with a very small "road" that you can't see around. Lots of over grown branches making the road even more challenging. I don't know what I would have done if someone else was coming the other direction. The car hardly fit in the area with our small tent. As for the tent area... Large gravel!!! Not only was this a stupid move that can easily tear a tent, but also made it uncomfortable to sleep on and challenging to get tent stakes in (5 never made it in). I thought KOA was known for upkeep and amenities, but not here. Restrooms were far away and not enough for the size of the campground. There were definitely not enough showers either. Not only will I not be back, I'll stick to sleeping in my car over a KOA.
