St Michael's Mount

I always love visiting St Michael's Mount, we had to take the boat across today as the tide was in. Lovely short ride over and a lovely amble around the island and castle. The gardens were closed today. Lots of helpful staff ready to tell you about each room and the history. Beautiful interiors. Lovely visit to the cafe, clean toilets. Lovely afternoon out with breathtaking views. Highly recommend.

Popped by while on holiday - plenty of easy parking nearby in the pay & display. We really wanted to walk the causeway - which we did despite it being neap tide which means it really doesn't drop that much so it meant we walked through about 10cms of water & the island had been closed due to that. Didn't stop us enjoying it though!

A beautiful castle with gardens. When the tide is low, you can walk across it. When the passage is flooded, you can cross it by boat. It's better to buy tickets online; it's cheaper and more convenient! Large parking lots, a beautiful castle, and gardens with wonderful vegetation!big parking must see in Cornwall

Absolutely breathtaking. St Michael’s Mount is one of those magical places. Walking the ancient causeway at low tide feels like stepping into a myth. The views are stunning, the gardens are lush, and the castle holds a calm, powerful energy. There’s a deep sense of peace and presence at the top, it’s beautiful. Highly recommend taking your time and really soaking it all in.

A great place to visit while in West Cornwall. So beautiful and drenched in history. The only downside was that as the tide was too high to walk across the causeway, I had to get the boat there and back. Shame, but maybe I'll return one day so I can walk across then. Be sure to arrive early if you are getting the boat as I had to wait over 30 minutes in a queue to be able to board.

A very intriguing place, and yet also stunning. To think that this castle was built nearly 800 years ago and is still standing astounded me. The island itself and the castle have a very calming vibe, and feels like an authentic visit. The castle itself was magnificent, and well worth the time to come here and see. Prices were reasonable, and I was not aware of the fact that you had to pay to enter. Luckily you can also purchase access on the island and on Marazion Beach just before the causeway, with a small queue of a wait of around 5 mins. Still, I would recommend buying online to make the process easier. PS: Weather & visibility permitting, some great shots can be taken from the top of the castle

A wonderful experience, it starts with walking through the sea before exploring the village on the island. Then it's off up to the castle to explore the history of St Michael's mount! A stunning walk around the beautiful gardens before heading back to shore on one of the many boats! A highly recommended visit but be prepared for some climbing!

Wow!! the location and the views of this place are breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The path through the sea was stunning with low tides which covers fully under water around 5pm, which makes it more thrilling. Best time to visit on a sunny day is around 12 pm 🕛. Historical castle with fully loaded Garrison and art gallery. Must must visit and make sure you go to the top of the Castle and visit fully inside, which is full of interesting things 👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
