Such a great spot, the spa with thermal pools was wonderful. Clean and well located, very comfortable bed. Children enjoyed the pool and the food was stand-out! I really want to come back again and take advantage of the classes on offer! All the staff were brilliant. I accidentally booked only one night when I meant to book two - and the reception team called around the whole of Falmouth and found me another room to save us driving home to London that night (seemed a very busy Wednesday night in Cornwall!). I really appreciate everyone at St Michaels! Thank you again.

We had the most amazing 4 nights at St Michael's Resort. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The location was ideal and our room had a gorgeous sundeck. The gardens are stunning and Rob the gardener is so very knowledgeable. Fred was a breath of fresh air at breakfast with his dry humour always making us smile. Andy, Shay and Henry were the perfect hosts at the bar and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all so much for a truly memorable stay. We didnt want to leave, and we will definitely be back!

Spa and gym were great.|Family room spacious, no view, overlooking the roof. And absolutely no sound proofing, footsteps in above room constant and even hearing them chat and talk on phone. So couldn’t sleep until late, pointless for a kids room and us. Bathroom tired, and shower wouldn’t drain quickly so flooded. Cleaner didn’t seem to know how to make a bed. |Parking not great as not many spaces, no electric charging points. |Bar area, nice enough. |Breakfast, very small portions for hot food, but nice selection available. |No great welcome, nothing that would make us wish to return.

Great facilities. Any issues quickly resolved. Fabulous food, and free use of paddle boards and a kayak. Really nice views. The pool, sauna, steam room and well equipped gym are there too, if you need them, included in the price. There is a private spa too at an additional cost

We love this place, discovered it in 2023 and have been going twice a year since. ||The staff are always welcoming and friendly - it’s the little touches, the other night (we are here at the time of writing this) the barman remembered that my wife had visited the spa earlier that day, so when he saw me in the bar he asked if she had enjoyed it - this is typical of the staff here, they pay attention and like to know everything is ok. ||The rooms are always well presented and tidy, the housekeepers take care to ensure that they leave your personal possessions are left as they found them and will only move them if they have no choice. The rooms are small for a hotel, but the views and service more than make up for it. ||The breakfast menu isn’t big, but covers the basics and is served hot, promptly and as described and there is a full breakfast bar to pick from if you don’t fancy ordering off the menu. I can’t comment on the restaurant as we don’t eat here other than breakfast. ||Overall, this is the place for a good slice of Cornish living, great service in a relaxed, clean and welcoming hotel and spa and we genuinely love it here and will continue to come twice a year for as long as we are able to.

We had the most amazing 2 course meal here. The food was beyond excellent and the service from ALL the staff was equally good. Kind, smiley, friendly, we will definitely be returning again very soon. Oh and the roast dinner was the best we’ve ever had.. thank you!!

We are still pinching ourselves at just how perfect our wedding at St Michael’s Resort was. From start to finish, the whole team went above and beyond, and we feel so grateful to every single person who made the day what it was.||From the very beginning, Nikki, the sales manager, made us fall in love with the space. She embraced all our crazy ideas, put us at ease straight away, and really sold us on the laid-back, relaxed feel of the venue; exactly the vibe we were looking for.||As our planning progressed, Lana joined the team as our coordinator and immediately hit the ground running. She kept us so well informed, supported us with both our vegan and gluten-free needs (a difficult duo to cater for), and helped bring our vision to life. It was such a comfort knowing she was on our side throughout the planning (and we’re convinced we’ll see her at a Zach Bryan gig sometime soon!).||On the day itself, Ella stepped in last minute and was an absolute star, we couldn’t have been luckier! Her warm, bubbly energy was exactly what we needed; she managed everything to perfection while keeping us relaxed and fully present. She struck the perfect balance of keeping us updated without ever intruding on those special moments.||Andrew, the F&B manager, was also incredible. He fielded my endless questions with patience, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. He was with us from 8am until midnight on the wedding day, literally through every moment, making sure things were running without a hitch! ||Alongside the amazing service, was of course, the bespoke menu the chefs created for us which was nothing short of phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about it! ||And finally, bar man Oli deserves his own special shout-out. From our pre-wedding event to the big day itself (and somehow still showing up at breakfast the morning after), he spent practically 24 hours with us and our guests; serving up fantastic drinks, even better dance moves, and endless energy. He felt like part of the party as much as part of the team, and we can’t thank him enough.||The whole team at St Michael’s were amazing. They made sure every detail, no matter how small, was handled with care and warmth. From the monumental vegan breakfast spread of dreams for the bridal party, to the way they looked after each and every one of our guests, they exceeded every expectation we had.||We are endlessly grateful to everyone at St Michael’s Resort. They didn’t just host our wedding; they created an experience we and our guests will treasure forever. The stunning sea views and beautiful setting were the icing on the cake, but it was the people who made it truly unforgettable. We already can’t wait to come back again! ||*all photos by Matt Ebbage

We stayed at St Michaels for our honeymoon and loved it so much we came back for our first anniversary. The room was lovely, the food was amazing, and the staff made it really special. A wonderful place we’ll always come back to.

Yelp
Tell anyone that you're going to Falmouth, Cornwall for spring break and they might wonder why. But when you live in London and just want to get away and relax for a bit, this is the perfect place to go! A friend found St Michaels and was able to get us a 3 room suit for a very good deal. Our room consisted on an en suite bath, small sitting room, large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a smaller bedroom with two single beds. The staff was helpful and got us our dinner reservations and the food was delicious! The waitstaff was so attentive and actually declined the tip that we gave them since our dinner was supposed to be included in the price of our room. One evening we inquired about room service, and after giving us some run around, they brought us some sandwiches. They were terrible and cost quite a bit considering they were just white bread and cheese! Unfortunately, despite what they told us when we booked the room, they were not able to fit us in at the spa except for one of our group who wanted a massage. We also didn't get a chance to use the pool, which would have been nice.

Yelp
Fab pool. Good staff. But the most important thing is the location. Right on the beach. Food = good We love this hotel the most it has everything

Yelp
We usually escape to this excellent four star hotel at least once a year. We have never been disappointed. The staff are first class, the spa, restaurant and public areas are great and we have always had a superb room. Parking is usually available. The beach is about 200 yards away and pleasant walks abound. Very good value, especially if you can catch one of their offers. Very helpful if guests have an allergy or diet restriction.
