My partner booked a spa day and Sunday lunch at St Michael’s Resort & Spa, which included two hours of spa access followed by lunch. On arrival, you walk through the hotel lobby and restaurant to reach the spa, which immediately sets the tone as the hotel itself is very fancy and welcoming. The spa receptionist greeted us warmly and clearly explained all the facilities available. The ladies’ changing room was lovely, with GHD straighteners, hair dryers and secure lockers included. The spa itself was excellent — plenty of loungers to relax on and a huge pool heated to 35 degrees. There were also several sauna and steam rooms, plus an outdoor hot tub, sauna and plunge pool. Drinks can be ordered at reception and delivered poolside, which was a really nice touch. Although the spa was quite busy when we arrived, it became much quieter during the second hour, making it even more relaxing. After the spa, we headed upstairs to the restaurant for Sunday lunch. They offer two courses for £30 or three courses for £35. We both chose two courses. I had the heritage tomatoes and mozzarella to start, followed by the beef roast dinner. The roast was absolutely huge and came with all the trimmings — excellent value and very satisfying. The hostess was also incredibly friendly and positive, which made the experience even better. I would 100% recommend St Michael’s Resort & Spa to anyone in Falmouth. Whether you visit for the spa or the restaurant, both are equally impressive and well worth it.

I love staying at this hotel. The location is wonderful (right on the beach), the staff are caring, the rooms are well appointed and great for wheelchair access. Our room had a sun terrace with chairs and sunbeds. The breakfast is good with lots of options and the hot food is freshly prepared according to your specific order. The shared areas and rooms are beach themed and spotlessly clean. The Spa is also well worth a visit, but if you don't want to spend additional money the hotel has a wonderful pool and gym that you can use.|I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

We’re only in Devon and this hotel works for a short break with our dog. The room works. ||It’s very sad as each occasion we’ve stayed we’ve had issues. It is expensive for what it is and you may struggle to park your car as car park very tiny for the size of the venue. The main issue this time is breakfast is warm and not hot. The second day we did ask to ensure it was hot but it failed. The first morning the young chap asked can I ask why you’ve left so much of your breakfast. We said it’s cold and the couple behind us commented ours was too and always issues here. The next morning I asked if they could give mine a blast with the microwave but he said we don’t have one. ||They have now changed to coffee machines instead of service. Which is fine but you now get a long queue at the coffee machines instead and guess what it’s warm. I did tip fill up with the hot water but not really a nice cuppa. ||We will return one day but may investigate if we can book room only and go to the|Bottom of the drive way for a breakfast at least it will be hot.

We are a local couple and decided to have a night away to celebrate my upcoming birthday. St Michael's was wonderful! Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were kind, polite and attentive. The hydrothermal spa is just amazing, very relaxing and worth treating yourself to. |Our room was clean and bright with a very comfy bed and lovely linen.|The breakfast was great, a wide choice of fresh fruit, pastries and excellent hot choices. My partner claimed the sausage was exceptional! |We will definitely be back. The St Michaels you were amazing! You obviously have a great team of staff, value them all!

An excellent venue for a spa break. Situated very close to the beach and walking distance of the town. The spa hydro facilities are fantastic and definitely worth booking a 2 hour session. The health club is included which offers a reasonable pool, sauna and steam room. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices to cater for everyone. Will definitely return.

We had our wedding at St Michael’s Resort on Saturday 6th December! From start to finish, the entire day went seamlessly and exceeded all our expectations.||Every single member of staff we interacted with were incredibly friendly, attentive, and couldn't do enough to ensure our day ran smoothly. We honestly felt so looked after on the day!||A shout out must go to Lana, the Wedding & Events Coordinator. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to help us shape our day. Lana's exceptional organisation, calm and personable approach, with a 'can-do' attitude really helped me and my now husband feel relaxed about the day, she honestly removed all the stress leading up to the wedding! She notes and remembered all the detail and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. This included liaising with the bar manager to source drinks outside of their standard menu to be served during our wedding. Lana even went above and beyond by stepping in to help my mum sort out the bustle on my dress when she was struggling. Literally nothing was too much trouble!||The wedding day itself was, honestly, perfect. Everything ran smoothly and that’s down to Lana and the entire crew that worked on the day. We cannot thank them enough. ||We received so many compliments from our guests about the food! The canapés were delicious, and our evening buffet was a huge hit with everyone.||The combination of the beautiful setting, the amazing people who work there, and the support of Lana made our wedding day everything we dreamed of. Thank you again to Lana and the whole of St Michaels!

Did the 2 hour Hydrotherapy spa session with my partner and it was honestly the best spa experience I’ve ever had!! Facilities are incredible and the cold plunge pool is a massive bonus that a lot of spas don’t have. Nate, the worker who greeted and welcomed us was also brilliant, super friendly & extremely helpful! Defo will come back.

My partner and I had an amazing evening in the spa and then for a 2-course meal after. The spa is incredible - so clean and so many different features, we felt like we could have stayed there all night. Our meal in the Brasserie on the Bay was INCREDIBLE. Our server Senara was absolutely lovely and completely made our evening. The food was delicious - best crab linguine I’ve ever had. Overall 100000/10 experience.

Yelp
Tell anyone that you're going to Falmouth, Cornwall for spring break and they might wonder why. But when you live in London and just want to get away and relax for a bit, this is the perfect place to go! A friend found St Michaels and was able to get us a 3 room suit for a very good deal. Our room consisted on an en suite bath, small sitting room, large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a smaller bedroom with two single beds. The staff was helpful and got us our dinner reservations and the food was delicious! The waitstaff was so attentive and actually declined the tip that we gave them since our dinner was supposed to be included in the price of our room. One evening we inquired about room service, and after giving us some run around, they brought us some sandwiches. They were terrible and cost quite a bit considering they were just white bread and cheese! Unfortunately, despite what they told us when we booked the room, they were not able to fit us in at the spa except for one of our group who wanted a massage. We also didn't get a chance to use the pool, which would have been nice.

Yelp
We usually escape to this excellent four star hotel at least once a year. We have never been disappointed. The staff are first class, the spa, restaurant and public areas are great and we have always had a superb room. Parking is usually available. The beach is about 200 yards away and pleasant walks abound. Very good value, especially if you can catch one of their offers. Very helpful if guests have an allergy or diet restriction.
