Came here for the 'Dekoloniale – what remains?!' The exhibition is housed inside a church where many key figures from the colonial era are buried. This choice of location is both provocative and powerful—it unsettles the authority of official histories written by colonial states and invites viewers to question whose stories are remembered, and how.

Elegant and serene church in Berlin, famous for its two blue towers!

I saw the exhibition on Germany's colonial past, it was great and it is important as many forget that Germany was a colonial power.

Totally worth the visit before or after visiting the church. Loads of history in a small package. It takes more or less 1hours if you take the time to read a bit.

Another lovely building in a wee neighborhood in Berlin. This church is in a nice area, unfortunately never made it back at opening times.

The Nikolaikirche has been a landmark of Berlin's city center for more than 800 years. The basement floors of the twin building, which are made of natural stone, are considered to be the oldest existing spaces in Berlin. During the Second World War, a bomb attack completely destroyed the church. It remained in ruins until the restoration began in 1984, which lasted more than 25 years. A very beautiful and important church.
